Have been twice now. Coincidentally sat at the same table each time! Have had no issues booking reservations. Staff are polite and the food is good. Starter portions could be a little bigger, especially the ones on the sharer section, but nothing to complain about because the quality of food is good. Have been very happy with my experiences there so far. Would gladly recommend people to go and will be going back myself. Me and my partner love it here for a quiet date night

Went here with my family... food was brilliant, the pizza was little too much of well done but apart from that was delicious. Our waiter Bradley was fantastic. Welcoming, friendly and helpful couldn't ask for a better waiter. Was abit cold inside the place but apart from that brilliant. Will be going back in the near future.

Always great food here, my favourite is the garlic & cheese flatbread (starter). The service around 3-4 years ago was awful but the past couple of years they have stepped up their game. There is a young lad who is one of the waiters who is there every time I go and he always has a smile on his face and gives great service. I hope Bella can survive through covid

Nice food but my goodness, this place needs a good clean. We sat down to grubby cutlery, the wall was absolutely vile and there was something on a picture frame that resembled something picked out of a child’s nose. We spotted cobwebs, dirty windows and a dirty floor. The restaurant had only been opened an hour when we arrived and there was barely anyone there. Inexcusable. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Great service, good food and a nice atmosphere. Prices are fairly high though, lunch for two - Lasagne with sides, desserts and a glass of wine each was over £70 which some might find a little steep for lunch.

I don't personally like the food here as seems like all the same. but if you are a pasta/italian food connesiuie I guess this place is your thing. the pizza was very nice but I did find quite expensive and that is where the taste card kicked in the decoarion is nice and went with family adn kids and the staff were really nice nad gave colours and entertained children. it helped as wanted to eat the food with my wife!

Just had the veggie breakfast. OMG the mushrooms! Soooooo tasty. Two perfectly cooked poached eggs, tomatoes drizzled in olive oil and rosemary saute potatoes. The baked beans and avocado were okay too! Such friendly staff. I'm so glad this is my local Bella Italia :)

To be honest i have been to this restarant many times and i was so pleased as i always had pasta as a main with starter and dessert and i was always so please as the food was amazing. But yesterday i was craving some pizza so with my partner we visited the restarant for the bottomless pizza menu. We tried 4 different pizzas: Margherita which was supposed to have basil but it didnt and it was the worst Margherita pizza i had for a long time. Cotto which was really good. Pollo Vesuvio which was supposed to have Spicy pulled chicken, roast peppers, onion, fresh green chilli and mozzarella on a fiery tomato sauce base but it didnt. it was a margherita with some cubes of chicken instead and it was ok. Nothing special. Finally we also had the Campagna which was nice. So out of 4 different pizzas we tried, 2 of them were disappointing to very bad. It looked like they just put topings on the pizza and they didnt really care about the quality as it was the bottomless menu. It was a big dissapointment...

Went there for lunch last weekend, and I really enjoyed the food. I had a classic pizza with salami and meats on top, and it was absolutely delicious. I had baked cheesecake for afters, and that was very tasty indeed. The restaurant itself can get pretty busy, but it's a big place and there are loads of tables. The waiting staff were really friendly as well. It's not in the most picturesque location, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for the food.

Went out for a meal there last night (Monday). Only ordered 2 main meals and 2 drinks. Service could have been quicker for a Monday evening but nevertheless staff were polite and friendly. I have visited Bella Italia in Peterborough a few times now with family, and whilst the food is pleasant, I always find the speed of service to be slow. I appreciate that good food takes time to cook and don't mind waiting a reasonable period for food to arrive, however I am unsure as to why a simple drinks order should take so long to arrive. The shame is that because drinks are so slow I rarely have considered ordering a second drink as I fear it would arrive after my meal. As an overall experience it's just OK, but with a few tweaks could be much better.

If I'm honest, I didn't originally like this place. My first visit a few years ago wasn't great. The food was fine but the place looked a bit tatty (weird, as it hadn't been open that long) and the service was poor. However, I've been back a few times since and I'm happy to say it's much better now. Specifically, the service has improved, the menu is very good and, as with a lot of these restaurants, there is usually a voucher available to get some sort of deal. Only gripes are that, without a voucher, it's a tad on the dear side and the decor still looks a bit scruffy in a few places but overall the whole family likes going there now.

We were told at the door that there would be a wait for food but not how long that would be. We ordered a starter to share and it didn't seem long but the main course was a while. However the food was great and the restaurant clean and welcoming. Staff were attentive and there was a nice buzz. My husband was a bit disappointed with his pizza as it seemed a bit dry with very little tomato topping under the italian meats. Will be going back without a doubt.

Visited this restaurant as we have eaten in other Bella Italia restaurants previously and were expecting the same high quality, we were met by a beautifully smiling gentleman named Sean, he immediately checked if we have any allergies (which we do and so this was very reassuring). We ordered and everything was going well, however, we then noticed a situation at the kitchen hatch and it appeared that the kitchen weren’t sure what they were meant to be providing to the waiting staff members. Two of our main courses then arrived and the waitress apologised and explained that one of them had been on the pass for too long under the lights and therefore was being remade, which meant two of our group started to eat their meals so they didn’t go cold. We had also ordered fries which didn’t come until we reminded the waitress. The waitress was ever so apologetic and did then bring the third meal and the fries (when reminded a second time). Sean, who was front of house, was stepping in behind in the kitchen to assure that all other orders were produced efficiently and correctly. Two of the meals were good, one pizza was rock hard and was very difficult to cut through and so we are assuming that the pizza had also been left for too long unattended. Overall Sean handled the situation very well and everything seemed to flow smoothly afterwards. The drinks and the fries were removed from the bill to compensate for all of the food not arriving at the same time. Not a great experience over all and not sure we’d rush back to Bella Italia but Sean saved the situation and handled it with a smile.

Booked on line with a 2 or 3 course option with set menu.. although menu fairly limited we both found things we liked. I booked for friends birthday and mentioned this on booking.. we arrived and she had a birthday greeting written on board with balloons and had a free lemoncello shot. The food was good, she really enjoyed meat ball main course. I had chicken which was ever so slightly over cooked and only warm.. but still tasted good. Service was good. Our server Tobi was friendly and efficient.. Service inevitably slowed down when it got busier but that gave us time to chat and relax. Overall good experience and value for money. Thanks BI.

Great service today at BI. One of our party couldn't order her preferred choice as it was out if stock. Apparently this was the 3rd time it had happened, so the Manager drove to a nearby store to collect ingredients so the chef could make it for her. All done really quickly and unbeknown to us. We attempted to engage in light conversation while waiting for the card payment to go through and she totally ignored us. How hard is it to acknowledge a question not related to food? Really good customer service on most recent visits after a poor start on our first visit (although this was opening week so almost forgivable). Nice touch at breakfast with free toast and jam whilst you order and the coffee is good. I opted for the Omelette Davolina; a spicy omelette served with crispy potatoes and a grilled tomato - very satisfying. They have a great cocktail menu that's reasonably priced and the main menu looks very tasty. It's a nice bright environment with a great atmosphere for couples, families and groups of friends.

This place is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. It's clean and tidy and not very noisy. There's a great food selection that - when it comes - is hot and delicious. My wife and I have eaten in many Bella Italia restaurants around the country and this one is certainly up to the usual high standard. Also, the chain takes Tesco vouchers.

To be honest, I hadn’t heard great things about this establishment. But my family and I have been 3 or 4 times now and every time, we have had good service and good food! This is one of the better chain restaurants in the Hampton area and had become our go to place for a quick, nice family meal.

3 or 4 stars. Food is okay or good but the mash potatoes seem like they're made from a powder mix. The gelato trolley is great for children. Service was good, starters came out in about 7 mins and 25 mins mains were ready. Cutlery had dishwasher residue and seats were comfy but also difficult to clean as is apparent from the stains.

Lovely decor, different areas with differing themes, food was just delicious from our Funghi Arrosto and Polpette starters to the Pollo Siciliana and Pasta Agnello main course and thru to the Salted Caramel & Brandy Raisin (absolutely delicious) gelato and Morello Cioccolato dessert.. And try the house beer Menabrea Italia, it beats peroni and corona for taste and freshness, goes very well with the Pasta, good prices, and lovely friendly staff, Lauren was particularly helpful and friendly and worthy of my tip. All round fab evening. And I look forward to going again.
