No problem booking online and was seated straight away despite arriving 30 minutes early. Staff were really friendly and helped my partner check the menu for allergens. Food arrived in good time and was very nice. The ultimate grill would definitely be enough for two, especially if you're having dessert! All in all very good and would gladly recommend, particularly if you've been to the cinema as you get 30% of your mains if you've got cinema tickets!

We went for a meal for my grandsons first birthday after visiting the Aquarium. The staff are amazing, so friendly and the waitresses are fantastic. The food was so good and little man's ice cream came with a very special message written in chocolate sauce and they played happy birthday music. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much. It was a perfect end to a perfect day.

Went here for dinner on 9th August for 2 people. Overall food was great and service was also good Chicken for starter was lovely. I had the pizza for main which was also lovely. Only issue I had was that it took over half hour to receive our desert as we was forgotten. Overall it was good.

Booked online for a birthday meal ... made a request on the booking to have a candle on the desert & the happy birthday tune to be played for my son if possible. I also mentioned it to the waitress who seated us - no candles any more but was assured the song would be played. Decent menu choices, food arrived promptly & lovely staff. The food was tasty and decent portion sizes. They brought the desert & I had to ask a waitress a third time for the music to be played which delayed the desert being brought back to the table. Not a huge issue as my son was delighted as usual, but it was the reason we chose to go there. All in all a decent meal.

Greatest lovely. Shown to our table even though we were a little early Our drinks and food order were taken promptly . Food came in a good time. There seemed to be a change in staff which never helps. No one came to ask if we needed more drinks so we had to ask. I felt the prices of the food were a little high for what we get. Atmosphere has lost its oomph since the revamp and music change . Other than that , pleasant .

Only popped in for a couple of drinks while waiting to go to the cinema on Christmas Eve. It was very busy, so we had to take the drinks outside but we ordered 5 cocktails, all of which were very tasty. The staff were very polite and fun. Lovely, happy, family atmosphere so will come back for food at a later date.

Nice food with a pretty full vegan menu so we got one of everything on it and shared around. Very enthusiastic service and conscientious about the whole veg thing. Very American Diner feel, which is not quite our usual choice, but good fun for all.

It's always been a bit of a hit or miss. Sometimes you can't fault it other times they can do so much better. This time how ever the service could of been alot better. Took nearly 10minutes to be sat and there were 4 or 5 different groups wait. I could understand if they were busy but they wasn't even half full and the had members of staff standing around at the bar chatting. Once sat there was a long wait for someone to take our order. When we got the food the chef had forgotten one of the items of food on the plate but they did make up for that by giving us more then we would of got. The food was fantastic. I had the chicken and rib. I had to skip dessert because of how long everything took cause I had an prior arrangement. I did get to the restaurant an hour and half before hand

Visited Frankie & Benny's with family & shared lovely lunch. Staff friendly & courteous. Chose sourdough pizza which was delicious, however relative's sourdough pizza was significantly burnt around it's edges. I'm sure if I'd raised this with our waitress, it would've been rectified. Equally, a burnt pizza should not have been served either! Prices are reasonable & venue clean, including toilets. Ample parking as venue situated next to other businesses; customers expected to park near venue they're attending.

Took advantage of the 30% off with valid cinema tickets, and had a nice meal. The only complaint would be a slightly downtrodden waiter telling us there were no burgers or milkshakes left at 7pm! But that forced our hand to try something different, so it all worked out.

Went here for my Goddaughters 6th birthday atmosphere was good music I would say can be a bit too loud. service was amazing servers were engaging and friendly and attentive. where I was let down was the food I ordered the stuffed potato skins with bacon and cheese they were ok nothing too special about them felt more like jacket potatoes which had a tiny bit of bacon and cheese sprinkled over. where I was left disappointed was the burger I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger which I'll always stand by burgers should always be bigger sideways than vertical the burgers tasted dry and over processed bun was soggy and chewy I didn't manage to finish it due to these factors.

Can't go too far wrong with f&b's. Pretty good & varied choice on the menu & good service. Not massively cheap nor expensive so worth a try. You shouldn't be disappointed for a chain experience.

We went in just after 9pm on a wet, rainy Monday night. We were greeted as if we hadn't walked in with less than an hour till closing time, which was well received and appreciated by us hungry patrons. Seated quickly, we were served by friendly staff. We all had burgers. Now, it is incredibly easy to get burgers wrong... but holy smokes, ours were delicious. Juicy, cooked through perfectly... and demolished in less than ten minutes. 1 New York Deli, and 2 Barbacoas. The fries are great, and as for the sweet potato ones!!! YUM! They didn't have everything we ordered, but that's to be expected later on into a shift. Pleasant atmosphere, kind staff, and we left extremely satisfied. Would recommend and would return!

I know on previous visits there have been multiple birthday groups, meaning they play the same song over and over again, I do feel for the staff, goodness knows how often they hear it!

Brilliant service, Brilliant atmosphere and brilliant food! I would give them a 5* rating but I have previously (a few years ago) had a bad experience on my birthday in there but have since been back and found it fantastic! The food is cooked amazingly and promptly and all rather reasonably priced! They have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian options, aswell as great options for meat eatters too - a great place for all friends and family! The bar is rather small but they get the drinks out at a reasonable pace, one thing I will say though is the cocktails are very very weak for how they are priced.. The service was absolutely terrific and there is not a single thing I could fault the team on! All in all, a brilliant experience and I will be returning!

Good food fairly priced for the quality, service was excellent. Wouldn't recommend the booths by the window if you are a family of 6 adults as just not much room for elbows an eating perfect for 4 adult an kids. We did try for a larger table or split but ended up just eating and cracking on.

Always have a soft spot for Frankie and bennys. My husband is vegan so the menu for vegan is really good. The menu has the usual pasta, pizza and subs. The chicken and vegan subs are delicious so would recommend. The meatball starter is also delicious. The menu is nothing amazing but what is on the menu is good. Price wise in the middle not over priced but not cheap either. So a family of four or more would be expensive but for two like us starters and mains about £40.

I always loved birdbox but I must admit that this branch is definitely my favourite. The food is always fresh, tasty and delivered in a timely manner.the menu is interesting with options of korean inspired dishes. The only downside of this place is the fact that they fail to pay attention to the delivery orders. My order was missing the dipping sauces and soda cans because the staff member failed to give my delivery driver the second bag that was part of my order.Because of that I would not recommend this place unless you dine in or takeaway as you can signal the missing items straight away. It is not worth risking having an incomplete order, is never pleasant especially because the food is excellent which adds to the disappointment.

I haven't been here since 2015 only because my husband passed away and I can't drive. I from Brighton. Anyway this restaurant is absolutely amazing and the food is great. The staff are very friendly. There is a great variety to choose from the menu. Me myself preferred to eat spaghetti bolognese or spaghetti and meatballs. My favourite starter would have to be garlic mushrooms. A side order of doughballs to share with husband. He always had prawn cocktail for his starter and his main would be either burger with all the trimmings or he had a steak meal. On one occasion we had both been full from our lovely meals but had still wanted a small dessert. I myself prefer icecream and I asked if I could have an icecream dessert from the children menu and they said I could. I didn't want to have the adult choice because I knew i wouldn't be able to finish it and I don't like to waste a good meal. You can get refills on your drinks. You can have coffee or tea or whatever you want. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. 10 out of 10. I would rate higher than 5 stars 🌟 if I could. One day when I am back in Devon I am absolutely going there again.

We went to Frankie and Bennies Plymouth tonight 17th March 2022 Easter Sunday. We were tired after a full day at the zoo (166mile round trip). We were a party of 4 adults, 4 children. It being the birthday of one adult my daughter. The staff were amazing, the food was excellent, everything was clean including the toilets. The 3 young girls serving tables worked so hard, interacting brilliantly with the children and the never stopped smiling. They even came to our table clapping and singing Happy birthday. This was a great end to a lovely day. Well done

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a well presented gentleman and made a fuss of. We was then seated very efficiently and introduced to our waitress, Amy ! She took the evening to the next level and was so welcoming and friendly. I'm not a big fan of the Frankie & Benny's chain but the Plymouth branch was excellent. The waitress was excellent, she remained attentive and helpful throughout our meal. Mixed bag today. Pleasant service, good starters. Ordered two large pizzas, ended up with four smaller ones as the chef got the order wrong. Two were a bit under done and soft. Forgot our fries which were promptly delivered after the reminder, but these were a touch greasy. I think they may have been having a difficult day as I overheard someone complaining to the manager about their service. Child's menu for £4.99 was really good. Was pleasant overall, but not brilliant.

We visit lots of Frankie and Benny’s as our children love it. We visited the Plymouth branch on New Years Day as we were visiting family. We were so impressed by the speed of service. Amy our server took our drinks order then food order and by the time she’d finished the food order the drinks were ready. The starters followed very quickly and so did the mains. Nothing was a problem for Amy, we asked for extra mac and cheese and very quickly the produced a side order sized portion, she also came and checked we were happy with the extra cost. It is so good to have fast service when eating with small children as they get so bored if they have to wait. This was one of the best F&B experiences we’ve had. Thank you.

Had a wonderful meal here last Thursday celebrating my little boy's 2nd birthday. Our waitress, Amy, went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing evening, she was truly fantastic! The calamari was delicious, my Alfredo was fantastic and the boys devoured their meals so I'm sure they were excellent too. Sundaes were divine. The restaurant was adequately adapted to work around COVID requirements and social distancing was made easy, with tables a fair distance apart from one another. Amy was happy to bring out my son's dessert whilst playing the happy birthday song for him. Such a great experience, we returned 6 days later for my husband's birthday!

Staff were lovely and friendly especially Chloe who could not do enough for us. The let down was the food and timings. We waited an hour for our main course which was not even lukewarm. By that time our little ones struggled to eat as it was after 7pm. They did make us fresh mains but again we waited. Meat balls were dry but we left it as time getting on. Such a shame as serving staff have got it spot on, just the kitchen isn't right.

If you like pasta & pizza, then you'll like it here. Good food served by friendly staff. If you eat here regularly then it's worth downloading their app as it often has money off & special offers. On my most recent visit, the server made a mistake and delivered the wrong meal (apparently it was a training day for new staff), not only was the correct meal quickly served, but the entire lunch for myself & my companion, including drinks was comped when we went to pay.

Son's Birthday meal for 5. Arrived unintentionally almost an hour early, requested if we could come in & were graciously accomodated immediately. Meal quality has gone down hill recently. The menu items we ordered was a past favourites of ours, but they came with a spoon fool of disappointment. The restaurant is clean and can't get a but noisy, the open wall to the kitchens means you can see the food being cooked. The staff are friendly enough but during busy periods can get overwhelmed. I wouldn't recommend as a night out, but if you need to eat and you are nearby, then why not.

Really love this place. Lots of menu choice at reasonable prices. The service is fast so you don't go hungry waiting. At the one in Plymouth there is an outside area too if you prefer though I was sat inside under a a fan which was great as the evening was muggy. The waitress was friendly and efficient as was the guy who greeted us on arrival. The only downside for me is the place can be a little noisy but that is down to the lack of soft furnishing. Kids are well looked after with colouring books etc and celebrations are well catered for too. I recommend this chain of restaurants and have yet to be disappointed.

We visited Frankie and Benny's at Barbican Leisure Park on the spur of the moment as we had pre booked movie tickets and had 90 minutes to kill. It was over the Bank Holiday weekend and although very very busy, or Waitress Amy kept the drinks and food coming at a regular pace. Attentive but not too the point of distraction, she ensured that all of our food was served piping hot and we even had time for coffee before we left for the movie. Ribs were falling off the bone, the chicken was cooked to perfection and my daughter loved her pizza. All in all a good visit, thank you Amy for ensuring we were made to feel special.

We haven't been to a Frankie & Benny's for a few years and I have to say we probably won't be back for a few more! I was disappointed with the quality of the food and whilst the service wasn't awful it was certainly lacklustre compared to previous visits. We were eating from the breakfast menu and whilst my husband's egg Benedict was tasty, if a little cold, my own meal was swimming in excessive grease from the hash browns and came with chips instead of the herby potatoes as described. I wasn't particularly bothered in all fairness as I prefer chips but I would've thought the serving staff might have mentioned it to check that the swap was ok. On the plus side the restaurant was clean and in a good state of repair and the food was well presented.

Meh, entree food was ok. Service was good. It took a long time. Appetizer bottom was burned dips where basically tasteless. My Mac & Cheese was good but not great and I've no clue why it took so long. Resturant was super busy but we where told there would be a 20min wait. We were then sat at the 2 seater right next to door that was clean and empty when we made reservations 20min prior. My husband's Meatball Penne Pasta was burned on top & edges and meatball tops were all dried out, presumably from sitting under heat lamp for who knows how long. I didn't hate it, we tipped our waitress, but I'll not be going back.

I was amazed by the service as soon as I walked in the gentle man at the front I believe his name was Ben was very warm and welcoming and sorted us a table straight away and he came and checked everything was okay while we were eating our main meal, the girl that took our order for food and drink was amazing very friendly and happy I believe her name was chloe, we wasn’t left around waiting long for food either and the food was lovely 3 courses and a drink each for me and my friend. Everytime I’ve gone to this particular Frankie & Benny’s we’ve had a great evening and enough food to take home in a box. The food is cooked well, tastes good, changed upon request of any issues/taste problems (Only once with a hot dog). If you can get Amy to serve you then you know you’ll be taken care of as she’s lovely and hope that the Bald barman isn’t making your drinks as he will belittle you when he messes up on your drink like a ‘Amalfi Sunrise’ then proceeds to be moody with you because he can’t make the drink without taking the mic after he remakes it because the customer “is a f’n t*** that doesn’t know how to make drinks”, his words once. The main point is the foods awesome, good portions, good timing and sets a great example of what Frankie & Benny’s should be.

I like this place it's okay sometimes we have a party here but I didn't like how the removed the cowzonie meal from off the kids menu,sometimes when I order a burger it's normally burnt in the middle or its a bit burnt but other then that they do birthday parties here which is brilliant I love there pancakes and the location is right next to the vue cinema
