Great food…period! starter - we had mussels , very fresh and the sauce were amazing. Meat ball, really great and the sauce made it when more better. Fried calamari, was okay but little bit too chewy in my opinion. Tomato and mozzarella salad- fresh tomato and great mozzarella was out of this world! Main- couldn’t fault it! Everything we try was really good. Spaghetti were perfectly cook and the sauce are out of this world! Pizza are also great that’s stone baked , you can really smell and taste the wood that they’re using. Risotto , really light and creamy but very felling. Over all the main are great but please keep in mind that it is pretty big. Stop by and try some. Let me know what you think 🤔

Staff super friendly and helpful. Arancini and seafood starters were good. The lobster ravioli sauce tasted like it had been made using tomato soup, not the best. We had a pizza which was delicious. Skin on fries good and decent portion. Atmosphere and decor is nice. Rated lower because of the pasta.

Fine long established Italian restaurant on the Penwortham strip of eating and drinking establishments. Nice atmosphere and handy outside eating area under translucent roof and heated. Nice food and friendly staff. Recommended. Very popular so book ahead.

Me and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary here on a Wednesday night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though it was a midweek booking the restaurant was pretty full and it had a really good atmosphere The staff were friendly and attentive and when asked for something such as a drink or an extra serviette it was brought quite quickly. The food was excellent and served hot and the selection of dishes was extensive. We have been a few times and will definitely be going back and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

It was my sisters birthday meal. It was absolutely amazing, I had bought a cake for my sister and forgot the candles, the staff supplied them for me and bought the cake to the table with them lit, singing happy birthday! The meals were absolutely delicious and will definitely book again! We have as a family been to this restaurant before and its always been amazing!! Thank you so much Salvatores See you soon 😊

4th Sept 22. Food was absolutely brilliant , no complaints there, I had the lobster ravioli with prawns , very tasty and reasonable priced. My wife had gluten free Pizza which she also enjoyed . The only little moan was the price of 2 blackcurrant and sodas (half pints ) at £3.10 each , we had 2 each so equivalent to £6.20 a pint !, Other than that absolutely superb !.

What a wonderful dining experience we had at Salvatore's. Covid restrictions were in place when we went so they have created an amazing outside dining space with heaters for chilly times. The food was delicious, I had a new menu addition, mushroom risotto which had an array of many different mushrooms and the taste was superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for food, atmosphere and service. We will be returning soon.

Salvatores has been a staple place to eat at in Penwortham for many years. However, after the sad passing of Salvatore himself, the family have invested in and rejuvenated this already great Italian and given it a new lease of life. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is fantastic. Being a local resident, I have eaten here many times over the years and I can honestly say I gave never had a bad meal here. I am pleased to say that the changes have not negatively impacted this establishment but only enhanced it. A nod to Salvatore himself can be seen in the photographs on the wall and the heart and soul of the restaurant are still intact. However there is a modern freshness to the place providing a comfortable and welcoming environment that should see this place last for many years to come.

The place looked warm and welcoming and the small part outside looked perfect for hot weather. All the staff who looked after us at the time had been really friendly and always had a smile on their face. Starters had been awesome we had calamari and stuffed mushrooms. Calamari was soft and perfectly cooked and not rubbery and chewy. The stuffed mushrooms also made very well and not soggy and wet. For mains we had pizzas and they were really tasty. Not the cheapest I’ve been to but you are paying for quality food and service. Would Defo recommend it

Just had a delivery for dinner tonight. On time. Piping hot and delicious. I had the ribs followed by Lasagne. My partner had Funghi followef by the crepe pollo. Both were superb and very large portions. Go on give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

Just celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday with family. Table booked weeks ago. Food was great and waiting staff were excellent and friendly. Loved the serenade!! What a shame the whole experience was spoiled by the woman who rushed us through the meal then informed us she had more tables booked at 9.15... just over 2 hours for 14 people and a special occasion. Went here for a family 21st birthday, the place is beautiful, elegant and vibrant. The place is busy and bustling and full of people having a wonderful time. Janine and the staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough, the food was brought out seamlessly and no wait time at all. Food was perfection. Went here on 19.10.2020 for a birthday meal. Staff were fab, lots of social distancing and cleaning between customers. Food was delicious, my son had pizza and I had risotto which was extremely filling. They have an offer on Mondays, "Monday Madness" where a selection of pizzas and pastas are £4.50 each instead of £9.90 each! Definite bargain. Would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

I'm came on 26th of August for my sister's birthday and we were not disappointed the tables were spread out and the waitress was paitiant and very helpful i had the mushrooms and then the tagliatelle bolognese which was tasty but I was to full for a suite which was a shame maybe next time my brother and sister are not adventurous when it comes to food so my brother had the chicken and my sister had the steak with the Diane sauce and then had tiramazu we all gave a thumbs up and I was very happy my brother and sister said the food was amazing and had enough to eat as it was our first time and I Had booked it is am sure it won't be our last time thanks again
