Reviews of The Italian Orchard

Myself and colleagues went for an afternoon lunch, to celebrate a retirement, the food was very nice and service was excellent too, some of the party were slightly disappointed by the lack of plant based/vegetarian options, but what they did chose was very nice. The venue itself is well laid out with different areas including outdoor seating. I would definitely visit again.

Wow! What a place to dine.
As you arrive you are greeted by the fabulous new extension ( bar area). Walking down the path to the front sliding glass doors, you are met by one of the staff who sat us down in the bar area.
After 10/15 mins we where taken to our table.
The dining rooms as there seems to be about 4
Again look stunning. Plenty of staff, I must of counted about 25 front of house staff.
Food and service impeccable.
We will be returning very soon and you must go!

Stopped by for lunch on the way back from the Lakes and didn't realise it's a fine dining Italian restaurant. We didn't have any reservation and were not appropriately dressed compared to other guests who were dressed to the nines but thankfully we weren't turned away. We had their two course lunch menu which was full of options to choose from for both starters and mains. The food is good and really filling. Service is quite formal but good and friendly. The restaurant has a massive space and even has a play area for children outside.

The best Italian I’ve had in a long while. The restaurant is well presented and very stylish ideal for special occasions. The food was full of flavour and served piping hot. It was well presented and faultless. I will defiantly be returning in the near future. Well done to the owner and team.

The dining area had an Italian feel. But it was still a lovely, modern, romantic restaurant. I had the squid ink ravioli, filled with seabass, layered with a cheese prawn sauce and some tomatoes and rocket. It was great! The food is top notch and drinks menu really good! It's also set in a very nice area.

Outstanding Italian restaurant. Expansive menu, huge wine list, fantastic building. Brilliant large, high quality car park. Comparatively well priced, but it's a full high class, full service, Italian restaurant.... Can get Extraordinarily busy causing slower service and nonchalant staff.

Very good.
They messed up on one main course dish which I had to send back. Shame because I was really excited about the Veal Fillet Salt and Pepper which was ruined by piles of fresh root-ginger which was not mentioned in the menu description. We like the Italian Orchard and this won't deter us from visiting again

We like the Italian Orchard and usually enjoy the food. On our most recent visit I had to send back my main course, it was spoiled by the addition of lots of strong root ginger which was not even mentioned in the menu description. There was some resistance from the chef apparently who sent the waiter back to me with my plate, saying "that's how it is served". I declined the dish and was offered an alternative but of course whilst this was all taking place it made our other guests uncomfortable and took some of the enjoyment out of the evening. Otherwise we had good service on that occasion

What a treat. Never experienced dining like this. We didn't have reservations and this place was set up to provide a great experience while you wait on your table. A well appointed cocktail space to relax with friends where they take your order while you wait for a table. From appetizers to dessert I was not appointed. I had fresh olives, lamb shank, and lemon sorbet for dessert. A must stop if in Preston for dinner.

This was a work do including partners… it was a hidden gem as we drove past it the first time around! Beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The service was exemplary and the food was YUMMY I had the salmon and prawns wrapped up, when the hubby walk talking I nicked his tempura prawns. For main I had Crab ravioli there just wasn’t enough, so I enjoyed Pasta which had the right amount of chilli. The deserts just too hard to pick one mine was Lemon cheesecake.
There was some lovely people dining out it was just magical. Would go again.
