This was one of the best Italian restaurants that I have found in Southampton, yet! Everything tastes so fresh and full of flavour - I was a bit hesitant as I had had worse experiences elsewhere but everything from the moment I walked in the door was great! The whole experience was quite quick and the tiramisu was delicious. The tagliatelle with smoked salmon is to die for, would highly recommend!! My friend loved it so much, he called his mother to join us for dessert!! Great place guys, really smashing it! (P.S, if you go, DEFINITELY go hungry so you can eat more😉)

Great place, food was amazing, service was incredibly quick and staff were helpful and friendly. Genuinely lovely place. Highly recommend. They knew we had a show to go to, as did most of the other customers, and it was quick but didn't compromise on quality.

Stylish and modern- looking Italian restaurant which we'd not noticed before. The service was amazing as we arrived at 6pm and they managed to serve us 3 courses prior to our Mayflower theatre booking at 7.30pm. The food was delicious 😋. I would highly recommend Milan if you're in Southampton and hungry!

A little gem. Went in for pre theatre meal. Worth pre booking which we hadn't but they found a table for 2. It was full but the 3 members of staff were curteous and efficient. The food was delicious, good portion size and excellent value. And a 2 minute walk to theatre.

Discovered Milan by chance on Google when looking for a pre theatre lunch. Absolutely wonderful food, staff and prices. Wines reasonably priced and the food excellent. We have an evening theatre trip in June and will be booking Milan for pre theatre dinner for sure.

Nice restaurant buffet style Italian food. Help yourself to pasta salad etc and they bring round meat which comprised of a sausage chicken drumstick 1/4 chicken breast slice pizza , and gammon. I think £14.99 a head it was overpriced . There is NO mention.of the price till you sit down. The disabled toilet was not clean/ filthy intact! It was convenient for Mayflower Theatre . Would I go again....no.

The food here is delicious. With a great choice of food & sides all freshly cooked ( even enough to be a main meal on its own). Waiting staff then also come round to your table many times with offerings of various meats and pizza. Wonderful desserts too. Staff are courteous and friendly. Recommended highly.

Went for midweek (work) lunch, thoroughly recommend this little restaurant, the buffet is a little limited but tasty, the pizza is really delicious! ..The meat option doesn't seem so popular with the bargain summertime lunch deal, but i had it nevertheless some of the food was tasty, but a little dry due to being on the grill for some time, understand this is hard to help. The serving staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Restaurant and surroundings was very clean and well presented. i look forward to coming again sometime.

For a vegetarian it's probably not the best experience, depending how sensitive you are. Granted I ate a massive plate of carbs and then topped it with pizza, others enjoyed the various choices of meat that comes around and gets served at the table. Would definitely recommend as the staff were lovely, so inviting and so so polite. My plate was clean and I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

We were a party of 6 adults and 5 children. First time here as we were disappointed with the restaurant we used previously, where food mediocre and service abysmal. Casa Italia was a superb experience from the booking onwards. Food very good and service, swift and attentive. We will be back on our next visit to the nearby Mayflower.

Buffet meal. Only £5.50 on certain days (£9.95 the day we went - probably worth £5.50) a bit crammed in. Lots of elderly enjoying an afternoon matinee at the mayflower. What with little space and people stopping in between tables to chat your food might be cold by the time you get back to your table!! But OK - probably wouldn't return for a weekday lunch though...

Love this place. Always a warm welcome from Tony and staff. Great food, especially love the parmesan coated broccoli! Always plenty of choice and food is always fresh. I like that they bring round different meats and pizza. The pineapple coated in cinnamon is just fabulous.

Ate here for my Birthday and it was excellent, had all the kids with us and they loved all the pasta and pizza they could possibly eat. Without asking they bought a dessert out with candles and sang happy birthday to me (which my kids loved). The food was excellent and the staff were brilliant. For a buffet type restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. Food fresh, and more importantly hot! Staff were friendly and as we arrived after the lunchtime rush, and eventually the only customers the staff were consistently attentive and polite. Good value too! Definitely will return.

Amazing place. The staff are inexplicably warm and welcoming and the food is all you can eat. Tastes amazing and they bring meats, pizza and cooked pineapple with cinnamon right to your table. Book a table now, thank me later. Just take it easy if you have to walk anywhere afterwards.

Would Definitely Recommend This Place. Me And My Mum Came Her Yesterday For A Birthday Meal, But When We First Came In The Manager Told Us He Was Fully Booked So, My Mum Said She Had Tried And The Manager Explained That Their Booking System Was Busy But He Then Said As It Was Just Two If We Wanted We Could Sit At The Bar And Eat So We Did. We Then Went To Get Are Food And Found The Buffet Food Brilliant As There Was Food There For Everyone. The Food Was Delicious And Then When It Came To The Pudding That Was Just As Delicious. The Service Was Brillant And They Didn't Bother You All The Time But Didn't Leave You For Too Long. Will Definitely Be Coming Back

This is one of my favourite Italian places to eat. Bonus, it's an all you eat buffet. It is a bit pricy but to me it's worth it. The food is yummy, the stff come round woth various bits of meat and ask if you want any. Other than that they won't bother you much unless you need them. The staff are very friendly and welcoming when you first go in.

It's all you can eat and you'll be waited on with various pizzas and meats but again, it's as much as you want. Very nice management, toilets are downstairs but there's a disabled one on the main floor for easy access.

I wouldn't eat a pizza anywhere else in Southampton. Absolutely amazing. The salads are plentiful, especially the Salmon and Avocado salad and super tasty. The cheesy garlic bread is insanely good.

Buffet was a bit limited, there was a choice of 3 pastas, a vegitarian option with some salad choices too. The extras that were brought around were a good addition, but all food was clearly made with price in mind. There is a bar there and we unfortunately had some loud football fans using alot of bad language. Not great with a young teenage daughter.
