I contacted Philip in regards to my grandfathers shower not working properly (low pressure and no hot water) and Philip was able to resolve the air lock and install a whole new Shower that now works perfectly. Property had a a massive problem with low water pressure which led us to worry we had a leak somewhere in the pipes. We contacted Philip after finding him on Google. I have used Phillip a couple of times now. He turned up on time, identified the issue quickly and fixed it immediately. He has a selection of spares in his van so no delays i.e. I'll come back tomorrow. More recently I had an issue with the pump in a concealed cistern. He told me to take a couple of pictures, and he told me how to fix it myself, saving me a call out charge! Great guy. Can't go wrong with Phillip if you need any plumbing done.

He arrived on time and quickly solved the problem (a leak in the shower cubicle), stripped away all the old sealant and replaced the with new and did a great job. Philip is a gentlemen - friendly, professional, courteous, accommodating. We were extremely happy with the service and it was a reasonably priced 3 hours work too, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anybody who needs a plumber and will definitely use him for any future plumbing issues. I can’t remember if I found PMG via Google reviews or Nextdoor, but I’m glad I did! Sadly, you have a better chance of catching a leprechaun than finding a tradesperson who will treat your time as important as their own and 1) actually respond to queries; 2) turn up for the job they’ve agreed to; 3) turn up when they say they will. Philip, however, who I’m sure is very busy, was very communicative and arranging a time for him to come was a breeze - he turned up on time, with a heads up that he was on his way, and did the job quickly and effectively. Will definitely employ again.

Philip got back to me very quickly and was able to fix the toilets and put an outside tap in in a couple of hours on the morning that he came to my house - very efficient and work completed to a high standard. The only (minor) issue I had was I thought there could have been more tidying up/putting packaging and old parts in bins after work was completed - as I say this is pretty minor, and overall would recommend PMG to anyone.

His communication, whether by call or by text, was prompt. He quoted a very reasonable all in charge for the job I needed done, and as he had asked for a photograph up front, there were no unexpected add-ons at the point of paying. He offered to bring my job forward when he found he could do so, gave me a 2 hour window with a 30 minute advance of arrival text, agreed with me beforehand. I do not hesitate in recommending Philip as a good plumber.
