Have used BES before but it was some years ago. Searching for a new programmer for my heating system and having researched the model needed I found it quickly on their website. Price was comparable with another supplier, but it was the cheaper delivery charge and next day delivery that swung it for me. Ordered just before 6pm - delivered next day - so all ordered, delivered, fitted and working within 24 hours. Perfect!!

For plumbing stuff in a hurry I don't look anywhere else. Not always the cheapest but reliable and never had a faulty product. Amazing stock and a friendly human on the end of the phone if you need them.

I placed a very small order with BES Ltd I'm also a domestic customer at 16:30 on Weds 20 October with the hope it would arrive sometime in the near future! To my surprise it arrived at 10 am the next day, considering I only paid less than £5 for standard delivery its remarkable, fantastic service and I received exactly what I ordered, no fuss job done. Prices were also very competitive, highly recommended.

I've used BES for 10-12years now, and generally qualify for their next day free post. It's extremely rare mistakes have been made with my order, or any material defects, so cannot fault their supplied materials or superb customer service team when I've had a minor issue to sort. Their service via UPS delivery is usually next day as expected as they're a fully business-focussed courier, but the switch to Royal Mail has led to a few delays, which as a regular user of RM's services, does not surprise me.

I've dealt with BES over many years and found them reliable,and the goods sound,however over these past year the price of items have gone up,on every new issue of they booklet,some OTT,lm finding that lm now looking at my local supplier for same items at a lower price,my last delivery didn't reach my door but ended up 3miles down the road,UPS service isn't what it was, l collected my parcel thanks to the details printed on the delivery note,complained to BES unable to do anything about it Oh!l get an early delivery next order! Who by! Ha! And at what address!!!

Ordered from BES.co.uk for home delivery and don't know how but my home address got overwritten by a local pick up store address so the part was delivered there by Royal Mail, their tracking said so, but the shop refused they had it, refused that Royal Mail ever deliver there, refused to help at all. Janet at BES was great, she phoned Royal Mail who said it was definitely delivered to the shop, she tried to phone the shop, but the number listed was unobtainable, so she arranged to send another part direct to my house, which arrived next day. Wonderful service from BES, awful service from Barwell Food and Wine. Please do not use them as a pickup store.

Decided to buy from here as items are significantly cheaper and I live in Birmingham so able to collect from the warehouse but, my god, their website is a chore!!! It took 30mins just to get past log in and try and work out why I was having so much trouble checking out (evidently I hadn’t loaded a billing address, my mistake but the error messages made zero sense). Eventually I figured it out and checked out. The entire time I was thinking “if I weren’t such a cheapskate I’d have abandoned this and bought elsewhere.” BES is definitely good value for money, but they’re betting a lot on how much people are prepared to put up with bag a bargain. Had to call the warehouse and the lady I spoke to in Sales was very nice. I sent someone to collect on my behalf who reported back he found staff to be very pleasant. So it seems great prices and the warehouse has great staff who are thoroughly let down by a poor website. 2 stars for staff, 2 stars for prices. Lost 1 star for the website.

Just purchase a solution that causes combination boilers condensation external pipe to freeze when the cold weather drops below freezing point. There all sorts of solution to fix it example by poring boiling water on external pipe, lagging the pipe but still freezes pipe after. I purchased “Boiler Bouy” from this company BES Ltd that fixes the problem by fitting a “Boiler Bouy” bypass tap on the condensation pipe next to the boiler this prevents the water from freezing in the pipes indoors. and if the pipe freezes out doors the “Boiler Bouy” will warn you by a RED ball showing on the by pass tap allowing you to drain condensation water into a water carrier next to the boiler until the pipes defrost. Would recommend this company and comes with easy fitting instructions.

I called yesterday afternoon after traipsing round the various merchants in Whitby & getting nowhere, much scratching of heads & mmming seemed to be in order. A member of the BES sales team put me through to technical services & within five minutes part number were identified my purchase made & at lunch time today the items arrived. Exactly what we needed to complete the project & in less than 24 hours. I reckon that’s pretty good service, thank you.

The only company I have dealt with that has never once missed the promised next day delivery. Gas fittings and consumables are very competitive, free next day delivery over a small amount (£50?) is great. They have a massive range of stock and it's all good quality stuff. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to pay your account online.

I have been surprised at some of the poor reviews on here. I have dealt with BES for more than 25 years ,in my former business as a plumbing and heating specialist, (JEP SERVICES) and now continue to do so in my retirement. NEVER have they let me down with stock or deliveries. I cannot recall a single instance when I required to contact them on any issue whatsoever. Much of the problems reported here are down to DIY users who having no idea what they are doing, should not be using a web sales site for professionals . Further it is obvious that another company with a similar name is being mistaken for the 'real' one. Please therefore, engage brain before hitting the keyboard. BES was the backbone of my business for years with orders delivered promptly, at unbeatable prices. A thoroughly first class company and I hope they continue to prosper for years to come. BC.

Needed a Gas Meter shelf asap, searched and found it at a good price on BES ordered it in the afternoon and received confirmation email straightaway. Happened to look at the reviews after i placed my order and panicked as a few bad regarding delivery and needed the part. Well thank God I had nothing to worry about!
