So happy I came across this plumbing company. New to Edinburgh and moved in on the day to find a blocked drain. After phoning several non- responsive plumbers I tried these guys and they went over and beyond to get to me at the close of the working day to sort out the issue.They did not bill me unfairly and were honest and kind. At least I can say I have 'My plumbers of choice' now in Edinburgh. Definitely will be keeping their services in the future!

Absolutely great service. I phoned up - spoke to a person not an answer machine and answered a few questions. Plumber came shortly after - he was a polite & friendly man who fixed the leak with no fuss. Couldn't ask for a better service. Craig has been very patient in fixing my kitchen tap leakage. My kitchen sink piping is complicated enough with food processor blocking the pipe, but his exceptional workmanship just nailed it. Great communication and reasonable price. Strongly recommended!

Chris was recommended by a friend to replace my shower. A detailed quote was provided and Alan completed the job to a high standard and within budget. The work was delayed by a few weeks due to some unexpected problem with delivery but Chris was on top of it and maintained good communication with me throughout. I needed a plumber quite urgently as there was a leak in my bathroom and wasn't sure where it was coming from. Super responsive and called me right back after leaving a voicemail. Excellent Service from Chris and Alan from the very start, needed a Shower Base and Door replaced, turned out to be more work involved due to floorboards and joists beneath being bad, Alan sorted everything out with No issues whatsoever, Alan done absolutely everything including tiling, joinery work and pretty much anything that needed to be done, with a smile too! Great company, honest transparent pricing, great guys, good communication throughout and quite honestly the best Plumbers I have ever come across. Can't recommend highly enough.

Brilliant, friendly service at an affordable price. I've had a shower fitted in the past by Cummings Plumbing and today I had an emergency leak under my kitchen sink with water going everywhere. I called on the off chance that they might be able to help me and they were incredibly responsive (calling back within an hour) and fixed it for me about an hour later at a very reasonable price. They really saved the day for me as I was assuming I would need to call out an emergency plumber. Hugely grateful for this service.

Chris and his team (particularly Craig who is an absolute star!) delivered a complete gut and refit of my top floor tenement bathroom. Removing the roof tank and bulkhead, replastering, retiling, replumbing, new shower, bath, sink, toilet, tiles, floor, painting, and fittings. Even with a mishap from my suppliers for the bath they were positive, supportive, and professional the whole time (and just generally a lovely friendly team). They asked for my input when needed for placement of things, talked me through any problems or limitations we faced and have left me with the most gorgeous new bathroom. Chris and I chatted through all the parts needed via email regularly and he supported me in finding the right options for flooring and other areas I didn't have full knowledge of. It was a big job but nothing was too much hassle for any of them. Super reliable, friendly, great workmanship, problem solving and generally getting stuff done. Amazing bunch (thanks!!)

We needed a couple of taps replaced - neither conventional taps. We got really good and prompt advice. The plumber turned up on time and could not have done more in the time we had with him. He was really knowledgeable and polite. He was thoroughly professional. The invoice was accurate and a fair price. Chris and Cummings Plumbing have completed 3 jobs for us now, a small water tank repair, a full bathroom refit and a boiler replacement. All 3 jobs were carried out to a very high standard, at a reasonable price and Chris was unfailingly punctual, reliable and conscientious. He gave us very good advice as regards choosing materials and suppliers for the bathroom refit and when the job went over quote by a small amount, £100 or so, we got a detailed email setting out why. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, as I was so impressed with the service, price and quality of job provided by Cummings Plumbing.I required a full bathroom refit, which I knew was going to be a complex job. My bathroom is small, and to achieve what I wanted it required a complete reconfiguration.I contacted Cummings Plumbing after a number of favourable word of mouth recommendations. Chris came round to quote for the job, and spent a considerable amount of time with me talking me through my options, and showing me what could be achieved. I was really impressed when I received the estimate from Cummings Plumbing and made a decision to use them. Chris was clear that the job would take at least a couple of weeks, and in fact owing to complications the job took a few days longer. This was through no fault of Cummings Plumbing, and barring some increased costs for extra materials the total cost of the job did not increase dramatically despite the extra days’ labour. The end result is just fantastic. I suspect I was one of Cummings’ more awkward customers in terms of what I wanted, yet the finished bathroom far exceeded my expectations. Along the way Chris and his team were always prompt, courteous, efficient, and have done a first class job.I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Cummings Plumbing for your bathroom installation/refit. Chris has done a number of jobs for me over the years. Before I discovered this company I had numerous bad experiences with plumbers where the problem wasn't fully fixed, I was left without the shower for weeks and expensive repeat visits were necessary. Chris is very good at listening, understanding the problem and trouble shooting the root cause. As opposed to my prior experiences he'll warn before doing anything that can't easily be undone. (average waiting time i had from some other plumbers was 1 week+) He fixed it in less then an hour!!! fast and clean! reasonable prices too!!! A+++ guy to deal with :)

Very professional service. I sent through a photo so he could initially understand what the issue was. This was supplemented by a visit to look through the issue at first hand (at no charge). The job itself turned out to be more difficult that originally thought, but he presented an array of options from the cheapest to the most expensive solution and let me decide. In the end I went for the most expensive (due to more labour time) but overall the result was well worth it. I highly recommend, and will be using Cummings for any future problems or projects that arise.
