I was having a long running issue with hot water pressure in my flat. Recently becoming ridiculous with a trickle of water. I phoned a few plumbers. I found they were either unreliable as in failed to attend or unable to repair as not properly certified for the type of issue. Plumber has to be G3 certified. A friend recommended JH Horne. I phoned them up. Had to wait about 2 weeks for appointment but worth it. Dave and son attended. After various checks they got to root of problem which required replacement of a hard to get part. Instead of leaving and coming back another day with part. Dave went out, tracked down the part and returned. He fitted the part doing a sterling job. Hot water pressure back to normal & all sorted. Would highly recommend this company. Great professional service and reasonably priced.👍

Highly cost effective, super reliable and quality work almost unheard of in plumbers/gas fitters.We have used many other plumbers over the years but always, always gone back to Horn's. We have learned the hard way. Wait for quality and work of a high standard. Quality plumbers are very hard to come by and his is one. They do what they say for the price that they quote!

This was one of my better experiences in getting a home repair. I needed to replace my kitchen tap. I exchanged several e-mails with Nicola to set up the job. She always responded quickly and offered good advice about the replacement. The guys showed up at the arranged time and replaced the tap without fuss. Definitely my future choice for plumbing jobs.

We called J. H. Horn in to give advice and a quote on replacing the plumbing under our kitchen sink. The advice was that all was good and no replacement was needed! He was very professional, explained everything really well and was thorough. No charge! I will definitely use the company again if any work is needed in the future. Would highly recommend.

I called out J.H. Horn for an emergency on Wednesday last week. My pressurised expansion tank was leaking. I have central heating cover with British Gas but they advised that they didn't have any engineers available and that I should try a local engineer and then send them the bill. J.H.Horn were a recommendation and were out the same day and got it fixed that afternoon. Great service, super tidy and very considerate around Covid precautions etc. I would definitely use them again. 10/10 from me.

Great experience using these guys for my new boiler, from the advice on which one to choose, right through to the installation. I was a bit wary about having trades in the house currently, but David couldn't have made us feel any safer, wearing his PPE the whole time. Done a great job and left the place spotless. Checked over everything thoroughly before leaving and explained fully how to operate it. Can't ask for much more than that. Would definitely use them again,

Booked for annual boiler service and Living Flame Fire service. David arrived well within the 3 hour period allotted and managed to make my old fire as good as new. Boiler serviced and some good advice re future legislation around smoke detectors etc. He wore a face covering throughout the job, was pleasant and very professional. £56+ VAT I thought was a really good price for such an important reassuring service.
