Got the radiators replaced in most of the house. From start to finish, the service was great and the work was carried out promptly. All options were discussed beforehand and quotes given were straightforward. On the day, the work was carried out by an experienced member of staff and the replacement radiators have made a huge difference. Had my oil boiler changed. From the beginning to the end of the process the service I receive was excellent. Ian who came and gave me the quote was very helpful in deciding what needed to be done. They may not be the cheapest installers/engineering/plumbing firm but their prices are competitive and the workmanship was impeccable throughout. They have communicated regularly to update me re the work to be done and Ian came out more than once to check it was all going well. This is our second time having a boiler installation with Rudkin & Herbert. We were happy with the work at our old property and so chose them again at our new property. This time the installation was more complex due to changes that the previous owner had made and I was concerned we would have problems getting the old 1978 boiler changed. But no this was not a problem to Ian when he popped round, he knows his trade and explained what would happen and gave a fair quote. They even helped with the plumbing work of an old sink and refitting a new one which Glen did for us. He did a great job of this so thanks to Glen. The actual boiler installation and new radiators were carried out by Jack and Ed, they were both professional and very hardworking and tidy. We were very impressed with the neatness of Jacks plumbing of the pipework to the boiler and the gas pipe and well done to Ed as there were no leaks to the pipes fitted to the radiators. Both did a fantastic job so Thank you. I know if we ever need any work in the future we will go back to this company and will recommend them to friends. Thanks guys we are so happy with our boiler.

I love my new wet room just finished by the great team at Rudkin and Herbert. They started the job on schedule and completed ahead of schedule. Everyone worked really hard, and nothing was too much trouble. Rob was brilliant at co ordinating the job and when they hit a snag with the existing drains, Ian came out and soon came up with a plan and a back up. Recently had a new combi boiler installed by Rudkin & Herbert. The whole process from the initial survey to the actual installation was carried out very professionally & on time. We were kept updated throughout the whole process & the installation engineer Jack arrived on time with his colleague & both were very friendly, informative & worked efficiently. They were tidy & the work was done within one day, even though it was scheduled for 2 days. Jack also had to do additional pipe work which was not planned for. Thankyou to both the engineers & to the office staff who are always helpful & take time to resolve our queries. My family really appreciated their service & care that was provided.

Rudkin & Herbert recently fitted a new boiler and heating system. Ellis, who completed the work, was great. He was really efficient and friendly and explained everything to us. He also identified a gas supply issue to the house but sorted it for us with no fuss. Our new system is brilliant and the Hive that they installed with it works a treat. We have had them out again today to quote for 2 new bathrooms and a downstairs toilet too as we were so pleased with the service.

An excellent service and results. I previously used Rudkin & Herbert to replace my central heating system and they did a great job so I got them back to refurbish my downstairs toilet. I needed the room completely gutting, a new suite installed, a boiler boxed in, a lot of piping moved plus plastering and tiling. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Ian came round, we discussed options and he produced a clear, detailed design and quote, which was very reasonable. The work itself, by Simon, Nick and Minty, was carried out very efficiently and to a high standard and the results are excellent. Throughout everyone involved was friendly and helpful and I would unhesitatingly recommend them.

Just had my bathroom made into a wet room by Nick and Simon, from start to finish they were very friendly, cleaned as they went, and told us everything that they were doing that day, I did not want it to look like a hospital room, all the fixtures, fittings, flooring were of good quality. We even got a very good choice of tiles to pick from. Would highly recommend this company., from Ian coming out to measure up and he explained what would happen to closing the door as they left. I have got my new boiler fitted along with replacement of all my old radiators and couple of new radiators installed end of May 2019. The job was done professionally and took exactly three days as I advised initially. Cameron started the Job on day one who was very polite and explained things properly who was later joined by Matt on 2nd day who was also brilliant and explained me how to use the controls. Just few minor niggles after the Job was finished but Ian sorted out very next day. Overall very happy with the installation and service provided and would definitely recommend this company for boiler or heating needs.

Their quote was the most reasonable and for the best quality of work, their office staff were helpful, polite and accommodating and they even managed to squeeze us in early after our boiler completely broke down. We asked Rudkin and Herbert to quote for a new boiler and to upgrade the gas supply to suit. The quote was competitive and comprehensive and we gave the go ahead. The work was carried out efficiently and quickly. Cameron was drafted in to climb around 3 adjoining (just) loft spaces to get the feed through the 30 metre distance, which he did without complaint. Excellent service provided by Rudkin & Herbert. We had a new Worcester Bosch Combi boiler installed in place of our old heat pump system and the service provided from the word go was fantastic. From going through all the details of the new system at quote stage to the installation by Matt. You couldn't ask for a better service. Carpet protector laid from the minute he arrived to the time he left at the end of the job. Advising when water and gas was being isolated, and general politeness, cleanliness and tidiness the whole time he was there. Even explaining the system controls and how the Worcester Wave works at the end of the job. Rudkin and Herbert fitted a new boiler, a new shower unit and ten new heritage type radiators at my Edwardian home in Leicester. The work was done during the heatwave of June 2017 and both engineers worked extremely hard during hot conditions to get the job done, to a high standard, in 4 days. The boiler and shower are working well and thew radiators look great. Obviously as it is still the summer I am not using the radiators yet but I know they were tested and feel confident that, should a problem arise when I switch on the heating during the autumn/winter, that this will be satisfactorily resolved. I have no hesitation in recommending Rudkin & Herbert for this type of work.

Absolutley excellent service. Boiler broke in the cold in November last year. I had a prompt evening visit, and a new boiler was fitted within a week. Glenn and his helper were fantastic. even covered my hall carpet in plastic so as not to make it dirty! We have just had the pleasure of our wet room installation carried out superbly by R & H. from design to tidying up. We needed an adapted wet room which still looked as though it came straight from the catalogue and that is exactly what Rob’ s design has given us. Rob visited 3 times until he and we were happy with every aspect of the plan and we have enjoyed so many plaudits from friends and family. The execution was mainly carried out very expertly by Nick and Chris and they explained each step as the work progressed. And not to forget the staff in the office.
