Found G-A Ellis on the OFTEC website for registered oil engineers and couldn't be happier. Local, friendly, honest, and willing to help when really it was short notice and mostly my own fault. Fixed a leaky radiator system with cast iron rads, tested and commissioned it. Stayed till the job was done, and shared some useful tips and pointers for keeping everything running smoothly. Will absolutely be using them again for everything to do with our system!

After an unsuccessful boiler service with another local contractor Andy was called in to check everything. To my wonderment, after approx 90 minutes, the boiler was set up once again running like it was brand new. I cannot fault the response time, service or craftmanship of G&A Ellis. Nobody else will be touching my boiler apart from these guys

Absolutely amazing service from this company.. had an issue with boiler and needed a service to.Andy came out next morning after answering my text very promptly was there next morning on a Sunday!! You will not meet a more friendly and personable professional.Very knowledgeable..tells you exactly what's happening and what needs to be done...then gets on and does it. We needed a new pump...I came out with a client we both heard a muffled hello...looked at each other as if to say did you hear that?? Opened annex door to find Andy on the floor fitting a new pump! He said he didn't want to disturb me as he could see I was busy so just got on with fitting it.He then refused to charge me saying he had a second hand spare one in his yard and used parts from that! Just charging us for the full service. Unbelievable service and system is now serviced up and running and working perfectly. I had no idea when I called Andy that he was the man who installed our cooker and gas bottle installation also.He did a wonderful job there to so it was a nice surprise to see his smiley face. I will NEVER go anywhere else and can honestly say I have no hesitation in recommending this man who I respect and trust 1000 percent. A truly good...professional and honest man in a world where many are not is a gem that should always be appreciated. They came and sorted out my leaky radiators. The job they did was 5 star that happy I booked them to do a additional radiator installation. Could not be any happier with their service would highly recommend them for any problems. Great service from a local tradesman.

my Confidence has been restored, I was starting to think no plumber would fix my heating after I’ve had 4 failed attempts by so called plumbers. My heating went down and was told my pipes are all blocked need a new system. 1 told me he didn’t know what was wrong. But I rang mr Ellis seemed very polite and knowledgeable on the phone so I booked a appointment. He came out with his colleague Martin and after about 30 mins diagnosing they came to the agreement there was something stopping flow under the floor. Tracing the pipes from the boiler they took my bedroom floor up going to the airing cupboard and bingo. They couldn’t believe it but some one had put a zone valve under the floorboards which had failed. They put a new valve in my cupboard which was a tight squeeze and got me back up and running. Definitely recommend these guys no doubt about it

i found g - a ellis heating on which trusted traders. they came to quote me for a new outdoor combi boiler and oil tank. very professional presented themselves very well and very competitive prices. i accepted the quote and im glad i did, ive had a few tradesman work for me in my time and ive never met a firm like it, so neat and tidy and so enthusiastic in their work. thank you very much mr ellis for my installation

Long story short. My boiler packed up wasn’t cost effective to repair. Took it out and put a new one in. Quick turn around. Very tidy, boiler is the dogs wish I had a combi fitted a long time ago. Very neat installation, top marks would highly recommend

OH MY GOD I can’t believe these guys managed to save my heating system, I thought I would need a whole new system re-fit but. Ellis heating did a mains water thorough flush with a new machine that took all the black sludge out my system. Took them two days but my radiators are absolutely scolding I’ve never felt heat like it. I still CANT believe they did it. It’s amazing, I cannot thank them enough. I’ve told all my family and friends about it. THANK YOU AGAIN

Called them out to come and service my boiler They Turned up on time, they carried out a very thorough service. They took the whole boiler apart. Cleaned out the condensate trap. Flue gas analysis tightness test I think the engineer called. No other engineer has done this. I would definitely recommend ellis heating Very neat Very polite Very knowledgeable

Another boiler install carried out by these guys And too a high standard. I recently had G and a Ellis heating out to a fault with my boiler after 5 failed attempts from different engineers. They was very knowledgeable on the workings of my boiler and within 15 mins of diagnosing the fault they found the problem. The engineer told me he was going off to get the new part and would return within the hour (which he did). He put the new part in and my boiler has been working ever since. They are a very nice and polite firm. I would highly recommend g and a Ellis heating to anybody who are looking for a good efficient, reliable heating team

We needed a replacement oil tank fitting urgently. Andy drove an hour to do a site visit and provided a very reasonable quote. 48 hours later the job was completed! Andy and his team are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I’d happily recommend Ellis Heating.

My boiler broke down over Christmas I called numerous engineers and mr Ellis was to only person to answer the phone and come out. He temporarily got my boiler going which was amazing as our boiler is obselete now and can’t get parts, So we agreed to have a new boiler. Mr Ellis came back in the new year to install a ideal vogue boiler, well I’m more then happy with it best money I have spent. I’ve just had Mr Ellis service my boiler and I had to point out to him that I am the 3rd generation of Gill’s that g and a Ellis heating have worked for. Mr ellis’s Father serviced the boiler for my father and mr Ellis grandfather serviced the boiler for my grandfather. I bet there isn’t many heating engineers in the country that can say they have worked or the same family for 3 generations. It is a pleasure to have mr Ellis and His team work for me. Mr Ellis himself is very polite and a gentleman to talk to.

Can not fault the quickness of these guys I rang up yesterday morning at about 9am with water coming through my ceiling. They dropped what they was doing and was with me within 20 minutes. They took 1 look and said it’s coming from the bathroom, they cut a square out next to the bath taps and there was the leak from a plastic elbow on the hot tap. Removed all the plastic and replaced with copper. After they left you wouldn’t have guessed they had been so clean and tidy
