C. H.My old Baxi Bermuda central heating system failed - I suspected it was an electrical fault as I replaced the fuse on the spur and it blew again. I initially called a company for a repair who said the electrics were 'fried' , it was unsafe to repair and the system would need replacing. They then quoted a ridiculous price for a new combi installation. I got Andy out to quote on a new Combi, but he said he could fix it and would not quote me on a new Combi. And he did fix it. Andy is a lovely guy to deal with, explains everything, is reliable, obviously highly skilled and does the job. I really cannot recommend him enough.

It's not uncommon for people to feel a little nervous about approaching a new tradesman; "Will they be a cowboy? Will the job get finished? will it cost more than the estimate? Will it cost the earth? " All these things run though our minds when looking for someone to do our work, well they certainly ran though mine when the boiler packed in and I knew it needed replacing. I approached other local plumbers for quotes and Andy sounded the most straight, upfront and trustworthy out of all of them over the phone. So straight off the bat, I felt comfortable to proceed with them.
We found AC Plumbing & Heating's details directly from the Viessmann boilers webside, so felt safe enough that they would be trustworthy if they are accredited by the manufacturer directly.
They just have bags and bags of integrity, on every level of how they operate their business and deliver their services. I really can't fault the service and the end quality of the work, at all. Our new boiler was fitted and as part of their standard practice (something that is NOT part of the general industry practice) it was fitted with a Magnaclean filter. As this is just something they do, it wasn't even raised as a point with us at the quotation stage, which is a positive in my book as I felt that the quote was actually very reasonable. I've heard horror stories about how much it could cost to fit a new boiler, and although yes, it is an expense - I thought it was a very reasonable quote indeed.
We received a visit prior to the job and we were give almost 1 whole hour of time whilst our heating system was checked and potential issued searched for or outlined. This was a FOC consultation, so that AC could get an understanding of the job before quoting. All the facts and options were laid out and made very clear to us and then eventually we opted for what was right for us in terms of thermostats and the kind of boiler. The end invoice was in line with the original quote, no surprises and the after care service promised to us is so reassuring.
I know I might sound a bit gushing but I was really nervous about having to find a good plumber and I'm just so glad that my partner and I came across this firm, we're definitely not going to use anyone else as long as AC Pluming are around and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you have the chance to use them, you'd be silly not to.

S. S.Absolutely brilliant. Friendly bunch of guys. Tidy up take all rubbish with them. Give you receipts for anything that they have to buy. All prices are upfront.
D. O.The one call you dread is to a plumber, all you want is the problem fixed as quickly as possible without being ripped off so all you need to know is this company are sound diagnosed got part boiler working all in a couple of hours so these kind of people need to be appreciated and shared.
