Both Alan and George were terrific in helping me sort out a mystery leak in our basement. Alan came out after-hours and in the rain to first assess the issue and had George follow-up with the fix. Basement has been bone-dry since. I definitely recommend these guys!

Very happy to recommend this company, I had a blocked outside drain and George spent a while trying to rectified the issue both manually and with machines. Unfortunately he was unable to move the blockage but gave me good advice and wouldn’t charge for his time and expertise.

I don't normally bother writing reviews, but George and Alan at DrainLocal London were absolutely brilliant: they relined our drain in 2 x sections totalling c.12 metres; they did a great job; and they charged a fair price. You can't say fairer than that! They also didn't complain or try to blame the main builder when the job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, they just got on with finding a solution. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Had a blocked outside drain that also received the kitchen waste water. Contacted George over the phone and explained the issue. He told me that he will be over in a couple of hours and texted me 1 hour before arrival. Sorted the issue in 30 mins and made sure that everything was as we wanted. Alan thoroughly examined the drainage of my flat using extensive camera work. He identified two problems. A cracked pipe and a redundant pipe that could be sealed off. He informed me of the solution and kept me updated throughout the day as he and his colleague George conducted the work. They were tidy and punctual. I would highly recommend if you want a survey of your pipes of to fix a drainage issue.

Absolutely exceptional job, I can't praise Alan highly enough. After a horrendous experience with a competitor (steer well clear of BDS), I called Drain Local at 8pm one evening, expecting to get an answering machine. Alan responded promptly, on his way to another job, but was at my property by 11pm that night. He got my issue (which was serious and fairly complex) resolved over the next few days - he provided complete transparency, a full and detailed report with photo and video evidence of the problem and how it was going to be fixed and extremely reasonable pricing. Alan did a fantastic job to clear the blocked drain outside my house. The work was tricky as we had a new wooden decking in the back garden and it was very difficult to reach the drain cover at the bottom of the deck. Alan went over and beyond the call of duty to first remove the planks and then cleaned the rubbish as well at the bottom (left by the builders). He is approachable and very prompt. Always trying his best to resolve the issues. Its very difficult to find people offering the peace of mind with additional warranty for work performed. Very highly recommended and job very well done

Alan detoured between jobs, at short notice on a Saturday, to look at a worrying leak in my basement associated with a complex ongoing drain problem. He had the necessary equipment in his van and the know-how to assess the situation and give sound advice on how to proceed next. In line with his online promise he did not charge me for this call-out, even though my insurance company may require me to use their contractor to do the next stage of rather complicated excavation work. I was impressed by Alan's proficient problem-solving attitude and willingness to help and would definitely use him again.

I called one plumbing company to out to sort a blocked drain in my back garden. They spent 20 minutes with rods and a jetting machine and could not shift the blockage and still charged me £140!! I rang Drain Local because of their no clear, no charge policy hoping that I wouldn't have to pay anymore than was neccessary. They listened to my problem and suggested a CCTV survey would show what was going on down there. Within 20 minutes they had sucked out the liquid and identified the problem.They quickly informed me (and showed me) that I had a collapsed pipe which would require excavation and replacement. They provided me with a reasonable quote for the replacement and as promised did not charge for the liquid removal or the CCTV survey. I agreed and they did the work there and then, putting my garden back to the way it was (even the turf!). I was very impressed with their speed and honesty. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
