H. B.Very impressive first contact with Naomi, quick and easy to place the order. The boiler and associated parts were delivered on the morning agreed, but the installation team could not proceed due to lack of time and some missing lengths of pipe. Rescheduled. a different team arrived on the agreed date, knowing it would now be a 2 day job. Sam and James were helpful, efficient and tidy. Unable to route gas pipe underground, so it runs around the front of the house. I can hide that with plants, so not a massive issue. Biggest issue was they were unable to remove the old boiler from the kitchen. Would necessitate removing all the kitchen units. The new boiler is upstairs in the airing cupboard. We did hope to free some cupboard space in the kitchen, but that will have to wait until we redo the kitchen. Quote did include "remove and make good" and nothing has been discounted from the invoice for this. On that subject, 50% taken up front, 50% was also taken on the morning they started to install, leaving no room to negotiate any contingencies. On the plus side the condensate drain was routed out of sight down to the utility room drain, and the new boiler is neatly located in the airing cupboard. All tested and left neat and tidy. Surprised that one of the chaps had to commute from Wolverhampton to Peterborough, but they did do a good job. ( Sam and James ). Boiler has been working fine, only needs 1hr a day to provide sufficient hot water for 2 of us. No heating required yet, but hopeful it is going to be much more efficient. I was doubtful at first over a remote quote via phone/email but pleased with the result. A timely install, and not too expensive. I knocked 1 star off for the aborted 1st visit, and the inability to remove the existing boiler, but over all I am happy that we contacted PlumbProud, and would recommend them.
J. T.I had a tiny very grim en-suite with no form of heating at all. One week and thanks to Kevin and Lucas it has been transformed into a luxurious and warm room which I absolutely love! I keep peeking in there just to look at it because it is gorgeous! Thanks guys a great job done. I couldn’t believe how clean Lucas managed to keep it every day as there was no mess at all. I am so grateful and would recommend this team without hesitation.
c. w.we had a bathroom 3 years ago which was beautifully fitted. we recently had a problem with the plug in the bathroom and they came out and repaired it no quibble. very good service. would highly recommend plumb proud.
A. B.Had a new boiler put it, had quite a few problems but they were eventually dealt with by the engineer who knew exactly what needed to happen. Would give more stars but the response time to get the engineer out was longer than needed. Otherwise they fixed all the issues and we officially have a working boiler. 4 stars are for the engineer that was sent out as he handled the job professionally and fixed the issues straight away
