Phil has installed an Aga for us replacing our previous Aga. Supported by his son they have worked meticulously. They are immaculately tidy and efficient. Phil’s knowledge of all aspects regarding the work is outstanding - carpentry, gas supply installation, boilers and most importantly Agas. I doubt anyone knows more than him about Agas. As the only Aga approved representative in Cornwall there is no one better to approach for such work. Thank you Phil

We asked Phil to come out to look at a problem with our Rayburn, with the fault diagnosed, we opted for replacement. Phil gave us a number of options along with quotes, we made our choice and asked him to carryout the work. From start to finish the work was faultless, with the utmost care taken, and not a spot of dust or mess around the house. the quality of work is stunning and the equipment installed first rate as was the advise. we have now run the system for a year, as expected without any problems and saved at least a 100ltr of heating oil in the process. Phil has returned to carryout the service, and as you come to expect from Phil another first rate job, from a top class craftsman

We discovered Phillip as the local Aga specialist a year ago and had him convert an old oil based system to gas including adding a new gas boiler for heating and hot water in a direct flow system. He is meticulous and thorough, plus keeps a clean working environment throughout the time he is on site. His work is highly professional using top quality components. For over twenty years, I have used the friendly and professional services of Phil Lakin. He has installed, serviced and upgraded our water and heating systems. He has a depth of knowledge that has kept pace with new technologies in heating and plumbing and he has the certificates to prove it. So that today we have a warmer property, hot water on demand, more space in the property, as we no longer need hot or cold storage tanks, a wireless, portable remote control for the system and it all uses less gas, than we did twenty years ago to run per year. You will get a fantastic service - simple as that! When our boiler died a couple weeks ago, we had no heating and have a small child so Phil went out of his way and spent a whole week putting a new boiler in for us within a couple of days of our boiler dying. Phil installed and has serviced our Aga with the necessary plumbing so successfully that we had to ask him to install a heat-leak radiator on the landing. Cooking, keeping warm and never running out of water are now the norm. The only question remaining is "What's an immersion heater?"
