Reviews of Fitter Feet For Life

I came to Diane with recurring shin splints, which she fixed, but she also spotted that she would be able to help me with a much longer term spinal and mobility problem.
No other treatment plan has been effective in the way that Diane's has. She is detailed, and helpful and has made a huge huge impact on my mobility, fitness, pain, and life.

I've been really happy with my treatment for an ingrown nail at Fitter Feet for Life. I was very nervous prior to the surgery due a different nail op I'd had with the NHS, which was very unpleasant. Fitter Feet for Life were able to get me an appointment the same week I phoned up with no consultation fee. David was incredibly patient with me during the surgery as he knew I was very nervous - he went very slowly to put my mind at rest and took time to make sure I was comfortable during the op. After the surgery he gave me his personal number so I could contact him if there were any issues over the weekend. This is far above what I was expecting and I'm very grateful for it.
After years putting this operation off my toe is now healing nicely and I'm looking forward to getting back to sport once it's done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fitter Feet for Life 10/10.

If you have any problems with your feet, don't hesitate to visit Fitter Feet.Diane Nicholl and her team are very professional and knowledgeable. Once i started wearing my new orthotics other pains in my ankles, knees and lower back went away.

I've been here three times over ten years. Each time has been brilliant and I experienced great, friendly, supportive care, above and beyond what i expected. The reception staff are always welcoming and efficient. Gemma and Diane both spent a great deal of time expertly diagnosing, explaining and helping me with my feet and knees. Really appreciated and very highly recommended.

I've been coming to this clinic for years now, and even though the owner Diane is not very friendly and definetly lacks basic people skills, she has a wonderful team working for her. Gemma is amazing, and I would also highly recommend Chrysso.
The lady at the reception is very helpful and extremely sweet and efficient and friendly. Again, if it wasn't for the team I would not have come back ever again as the owner is Not frie dly at all and seems to treat her staff rather poorly. Such a shame when you have such good people working alongside you.

So I thought I'd add my experience. I had a verruca cluster for about 2 years and it started spreading after I tried a lot of treatments from the pharmacy. I guess I just couldn't take the frustration anymore, and it spread to my finger so I was scared it would get bad.
On blogs it seemed laser therapy was the best, so I finally found this place which had a slightly more affordable price (I didn't realise it's all so pricey in the UK!!!) and was nearer to my home. I did try to go to my GP for this, but first they lied I had nothing, then that they wouldn't offer treatment then more back and forwards so I was fed up.
Anyway, on the experience here:
- the receptionist was really nice. Even the first person I talked to on the phone was honest and told me a maximum price I might pay and that worst case I could end up doing 3 surgeries. I seriously appreciated this, so I booked the appointment.
- I ended up having 2 surgeries. So I want people to be prepared to have more than 1-2!!!!! especially if you have a larger one. After the 2nd surgery the poor doctor told me it still wasn't gone and then she used a salicylic cream for a bit. Even after this it wasn't gone and we thought it was time for a 3rd surgery. She was really honest and nice throughout. However, by some crazy miracle, a week before the 3rd surgery it was gone!? It's been 1.5 months now and I'm still checking it every day just in case but there's only a scar.
- do take the anaesthesic injections! even if it's 2 of them and you're scared of needles... again the doctor was really supportive here with my fear.
- be prepared that there will be many follow-up sessions and you won't really be able to walk much. So factor in Uber costs. And you won't really be able to walk or have a shower for 1-2 weeks each time :/ It was easier to do during lockdown tbh.
But at least I know it I have to do this again, I know where to go to. It may be pricey, but at least it's finally done now...

Absolutely top service. Its expensive if you need to buy the orthoses but its been worth every penny. I first went to them when i was 15 with knee pain and they sorted me right out. I'm 33 years old now and would never change to another service. I'm a medical professional myself and I'm always blow away by the professionalism and expertise of the Mrs Nicholl and her team. Nadira at reception does a wonderful job too. Bravo. Keep up the good work. I've recommended them to anyone i know with a whole range of issues from back pain / foot pain / knee pain and ingrown nails.

They saved my life, really, I owe them a lot. I had a verruca very deep and so painful I could not walk anymore, I tried every products from Boots, then I tried cryotherapy with my GP and then I tried a sk:n clin in Holborn (laser without anaesthetics, just agony) and nothing worked, apart from pain and depression. I found this clinic in Clapham Common and decided to try them and they did a cryotherapy with an injection of anaesthetics. For the first time I did not feel any pain at all and they removed once and for all totally my problem. I also went few more times just for checking and medication of the foot, without paying any extra and I am now a happy man. Where lots of people have failed, this clinic has helped me and brought back the smile on my face. I cannot thank them enough of their help and kindness. I wasted so much money and time with so many incompetent people and here there was the solution to my problem. Immensely grateful. Thanks a lot.

Thorough and professional treatment. Both my daughter and I have been to FitterFeet and we both came away with a positive experience. You know all those aches and pains that you think are age, and for which your GP prescribes pain killers? Go see these people. The only practice I know of where there's a consulting surgeon on site.
