OMG what a terrific experience! I always have my insoles made back home. Due to the pandemic I have not been able to travel. I was looking at company and PODO popped up on my search. I was very keen to see that he was doing so much work on cyclists, so I decide to try. Christophe represents among the highest level of customer service I have experienced. Information was accurate, responses to queries were turned around very fasts. Answers were super clear and where necessary detailed enough for me to make my decision. He run so many tests on me and that make me feel that I was in very good hands. He was also explaining the process of it and the reason behind so I could understand better the benefits of wearing them. Also, it really surprised me that he gave me so very good tips on how to get a pair of shoes, so I could improve my daily mobility and he was checking days after about my comfort with the pair of shoes. What I like the most it was not the typical person who is trying to sell you something but more about identify your personal needs and adapt to it. Now PODO has also a discount rate for a second pair of insoles so I could not miss the opportunity and get a second pair. I totally recommend his service at all levels. Christophe delivers a personalise service of the highest order. An unhurried examination of my feet, using sophisticated equipment and judgement borne of great experience, was followed by the crafting of a pair of orthotic insoles while I waited, with coffee supplied! I have used the orthotics for a month in my running shoes and, whilst I haven't re-started any running, to give my knees and feet time to recover, I have had absolutely no knee or foot pain since I started using the orthotics. I am hoping to persuade my grandson, a sports fanatic, to consult Christophe, since he frequently complains of leg and foot aches after his sporting activities. That is a work in progress! The insoles have been fairly life changing and I'm very grateful! I have needed to buy wider fitting shoes which has relieved the pressure on the outside of my feet. This pressure relief alongside having the necessary arch support has created a really comfortable and sturdy platform to generate power on the bike! I no longer have to over tighten my shoes to make them fit, which results in no longer having numb feet/toes! Now that my arches aren't collapsing, my knees don't bow inwards and are no longer under unnecessary strain. I was a previous customer of Foot Factor and was really disappointed to see Christophe had left but so pleased I found him with his own setup. Christophe had previously sorted out my flat footed hypermobile body with custom made orthotics! I used to suffer from many injuries such as tight calves/hamstrings but they literally all went away. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Christophe changed my life. I came to him after spending a year unable to walk for more than 30 minutes because of terrible foot pain. A few weeks after wearing the orthotics he made me, the pain in my foot basically disappeared. I can walk for miles now with no problem. I cannot emphasise enough how good Christophe is and the orthotics that he made me have been life changing. I have rheumatoid arthritis and also very mobile feet and these have resulted in pain in the ball of one of my feet and Achilles tendonitis. I was at the end of my tether when I went to Christophe and I was struggling to walk any decent distance without pain and my Achilles being impacted. Christophe paid a huge amount of care and attention to understanding and assessing my issues and made me a brilliant pair of orthotics all within one appointment. They took a few weeks to get used to, but, a few months down the line I am now able to walk good distances pain free and am at the stage where my Achilles swelling has gone right down. I can’t recommend Christophe’s orthotics and his expertise enough! I never fully recovered from a knee injury a few years back and Christophe recommended he check my posture, gate and confirm how my foot was striking the floor. I have had flat feet (collapsed arches) my whole life and I never really addressed the issue till recently. I never knew that your feet could have such a dramatic effect on your posture, and how not taking good care of them could lead to me having problems later in life with my lower back etc. Being a competitive bodybuilder and after having trained weights for a decade religiously without orthotics, I was adding insult to injury, due to not using the correct muscles while training which led to several problems. I was experiencing unbelievable pain throughout the years in my knees, hips and lower back and I never knew why. It got to the point where I could not even sit down for more than 15seconds before my knees started hurting and I had to stand up again. It even got to the point where I tore my left hamstring twice while training legs because of my flat feet (who knew right?) I approached Christophe in September 2020. The man is a genius. He goes the extra mile explaining how the body works. Since he designed my orthotics, I have found that I have much better stability when training (and simply walking) , and more importantly I can finally sit down without my knees feel like they’re going to explode. The effectiveness of these were proven when I tried to do a bodyweight squat immediately after wearing them in Christophe’s office, the pain miraculously disappeared due to using the correct muscles. The investment is seriously worth it. Christophe designs them from scratch using numerous machines and are designed specifically for YOUR feet which is the most important thing. I urge you to contact Christophe if you have any issues with your posture or experience any joint pain. He is so knowledgeable and from pictures he will tell you what the issue is.

The service you will receive at Podo is second to none. Christophe created some orthotics for me last summer and actually managed to fit me in for a check up in short notice today despite the fact he was moving house and that it was a Sunday!! I rarely come to London and travel a long way just for Podo, so was extremely grateful that he could and would. What a legend. He’s an absolute genius and is a true expert in his field of Podiatry and Biomechanics! You’ll struggle to find anyone more motivated and enthusiastic about their profession than this fella!
