Situated inside a convenience/ News agent store on main st facing Mitchell Arcade shopping centre, Rutherglen Post office is a very busy place. Its pot luck whether you get in and out quickly or have to face a long queue. The staff are friendly and efficient with a no nonsense approach due to the limited restrictions on their time. Please remember the many time consuming clerical facets facing the staff. Post matters aside, they have to deal with many insurances, drivers license queries, currency exchange,passport forms etc.All of which take time and therefore require your sometimes tested patience. The staff work very hard.

amazing service young man behind the counter dealt with elderly customer very well! very helpful, got the elderly woman a seat while he called post office on behalf of customer - something to do with her post office card don't think she remembered pin, whatever it was the young man dealt with it extremely well!! professional, polite, patient. They should have 2 people serving - right now I've seen only the lady, which sometimes is miserable- I'm guessing beeing there alone and serving people all day -i would be miserable as well:)) the whole process is quite quick and I'm always using this post office. On the other hand , staff at the normal checkout - very rude- not recommending their services.

Great post office with friendly staff. I was served by Nicky today who is very professional, friendly & always greet with a smile. I have had similar experiences in the past so decided to put it in writing.

Well the man in the post office at Rutherglen main street is is very very good staff n there nice and there very very ways happy to give u a hand n it's the best store I've found Post office so good man he's a gentleman I got the Jo. Few hrs a we so happy with this coz I was me purse n he said good luck msl x

Brilliant mo helped me with a letter which I posted without a stamp he told me to come back the next day and he will get the postman to give him it when he cam to collect the post ... and he did what a brilliant service thanks mo x

post office and anewsagents aswell it got the holeinthe wall when post office is closed for ur money and does all recorded deliver us and sells stamps helps with ur passports and car insurance and lots more
