j. c.This is local to me and very handy, particularly to collect Amazon parcels. The post mistress is very friendly and helpful and always smiling. I went there with my bike one day and forgotten my lock and she let me bring my bike in to the shop.
I’ve read some of the negative reviews on here and think they’re unjustified. Considering she has to contend with some unsavoury characters that go in there it doesn’t seem to phase her

ATM outside dispenses £20, £10 and £5 notes (very handy)
EASY CAR PARKING RIGHT OUTSIDE.
Good selection of stationary items and cheap cards and posting bags/boxes.

M. G.It's ok, it's a post office, it does what a post office should do. What isn't ok is the fact you have to play the guessing game when it comes to the opening hours. Google was update BY THE BUSINESS 9 hours ago stating it was open until 4pm today. It's not. It closed at 3pm.
The opening times shown on the post office door are as follows...
Mon - fri 9.00 - 5.30
Sat 9.00 - 3.00
Sun - closed
Hope this helps people avoid a wasted journey to a post office that isn't open.
