H. V.This IS open 2 days a week (lockdown 3, Jan 2021) but ONLY for residents of the Royal Hospital. Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am-4pm FYI. They also take a huge lunch break daily, so it's barely open even for residents.
N. B.The opening hours are wrong on their website and on Google. Having tried to visit on a Friday, when they say they close at 5, I was informed at security on the way in at 4:35pm that they always close at 4:30, with the remaining 30 minutes only open for Pensioners and not the public.
So, I try to go to their online shop to buy two packs of Christmas cards, but they want to charge me £18 for delivery on top of the price of the cards.
I do want to support the Royal Hospital and its good work, but I'm very unhappy at the way they present themselves to the public.
S. E.Great post office experience but we think we were pickpocketed in the shared entrance between the museum and the post office. Beware.
