They had a band on and I had hearing loss the next day. No-one else in the group had a problem. Good bar but if their bands are being that loud I can't come in.

Fantastic friendly well run Irish bar with genuine class music. As an ex door supervisor really want to point out the professionalism and extreme lengths the door staff go to to keep the public safe and happy. Would almost go as far to say the best run door supervision I've come across for a long long time.

Great place, went to watch the rugby and there were multiple screens. I had a yummy Fierce beer and my friend had a Guinness. Staff were friendly and helpful. We got Aberdam loaded fries delivered to our table which were fabulous! Just a shame the loo roll ran out!

Great bar, friendly staff. Not a regular by any means, but always welcome. Security guy Tony has friendly banter with everyone, makes them welcome. A small thing, but was impressed with him yesterday when a family with young children asked about coming in - kids not allowed, but the took them up the road to the Ivy. As a say, a small thing, but the kind of service you don't see often

Good pint, good music, nice staff really friendly and helpful. Extra bonus stars if I could give them for the food from Amerdam Dutch Fries next door, menus on the tables in Malones order on app or just walk next door, they deliver to your table. Beautiful burgers, great fries ! Special mention to the blonde bar server's recommended salt and pepper chicken dirty fries with curry sauce, one of my mates had it and loved it.

Malones is the best, that simple. Live music, and at its peak everyone is drunk and merry and having a great time. Can be pretty packed on a weekend but it's also great for a pint midweek as well due to the live music as forementioned, and it's quieter if you prefer that! It's a grand ol pub

Covid considerations aside, the app for ordering drinks and the service from staff were both hit or miss. Sometimes you'd order a gin and get a tonic option automatically. Other times you'd have to order tonic separately, then it would arrive with either too many or too few. Be interesting to visit once normal service is resumed.

Good pint of Guinness and good service. Never have to wait long for a pint even when they're busy. For anyone wanting to watch Irish sports this is the place to go in Aberdeen but it will be packed to the rafters when the gaa is on!

My wife and I visited Malone's on Sunday 25th March because we had seen there was live music and the guy who was singing was superb playing a wide range of songs and keeping the good and lively crowd very entertained, the only downside was the very rude barman who needs a couple of weeks at charm school because it seemed as if he did not want to be there or he is in the wrong job! I would have given Malone's five stars if it had not been for his very poor customer service.

A packed bar with lots of character Malone's offers the traditional Irish experience: whiskey, Guinness, live music, and a bar so hoaching you will struggle to get across it to order your drinks. The live music is good but is too loud. It creates this odd mish-mash of bar and club as you're trying to talk to friends but can't hear them but no one is there to dance or listen to the music. The drinks prices are on point with the surrounding areas.

The only downside is that the music is so loud that you can't talk to the other person, you have to shout to each other, which gets irritating over time.
