G. S.Visited Sat night in a group of 4. Managed to get a table that had to be vacated by 7.30pm. Book in advance preferable. Food of good quality and at a reasonable price.
I had the works burger at £7.50. The Gammon was about £9.50 and looked good. We devoured all presented to us.
Beers were good. Ghost ship was off but replaced with another of quality.

We enjoyed our meals which were well cooked and nicely presented.

Nothing 'clicky' many people from around the town eat there.
Local pensioners favour it (nothing wrong with that) - home cooked food. Their own menu, not tied up to any chain.
I used to take my folks up there, they liked it.
It is spotless, food always good - think bar food.
Staff are very friendly & approachable.
You cannot go wrong if you are thinking of visiting.

C. S.Always a great meal at this place. Had the larged mixed grill didn't have any complaints but I will say this place does the best peppercorn sauce in the area so I found.
Sadly the coffee hadn't been delivered yet so we had tea and coke instead but that's no problem.
I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone especially with the polite staff, warm welcomes and saying goodbye as we are leaving.

S. N.Fantastic customer service. Had 3x3courses Sunday dinner. Plenty and delicious great value for money . £12.75 for our 3 course meal . Per person. Had 2 prawn cocktail, salad love n fresh. Prawns in abundance. Homemade leek soup was fab. 2 turkey , 1 roast beef. Everything cooked wonderfully. Puddings extremely scrumptious 2 sticky toffee pudding and 1 apple crumble. It was very busy so would recommend booking
