C.Fantastic atmosphere. Garden is the best around. Indoor lighting/seating is very cozy. Great selection of drinks. Food menu is lovely… and the Brunch menu even better! Music in the background works perfectly (not overbearing, and no trash you’d usually hear on Radio 1).
Always welcomed by a smiling face. Can’t find any faults in this pub if i tried. The lovely owner has it down to a tee.

V. l.Not the biggest of venues in size, but certainly got bucket loads of atmosphere. This pub has had a recent refurb and it's been money well spent. It's rear courtyard will definitely make this a pub to meet up with friends when the summer months come around.

J. L.Haven’t been to the pub but they’re ‘Fab Street Food’ is so good! Literally the best burgers I’ve had and the staff always go above and beyond. Since I’ve ordered from there I haven’t stopped. It’s like top street food places in London and there’s nothing like that here in Bedford. The chef even cooked me there delicious beignets when I called them and they were closing. Great pub, great beer selection, family/dog friendly.
We usually visit on a Friday evening to meet with family when the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Today we brought our friends, with children in tow, for our Christmas lunch get together. The food was great, the service was spot on and they catered for our big group brilliantly. Cannot recommend enough.

A. A.I just got treated to the chilli 🌶nachos,and fried chicken. It was awesome,fresh,home made,messy and hearty food. The heat in the chilli was just spot on,like i dont even know how you can get that measure right. Totally recommend if you love hearty food.🥰🥰

D. L.Recently used the click and collect service to order food and we were not disappointed. The ordering process was simple and user-friendly, the menu has been updated for lockdown but still offered plenty of choice and something a bit different.
The food was fresh, hot and as always, amazing. Head chef Oliie is passionate about food and this is reflected in his cooking, A street food fusion with lots of flavours that packed a punch.
It these tough and strange times we feel it is important to help out local businesses and the FAB team at the Foresters Arms are always amazing and go above and beyond to make your feel welcome and looked after. Go give them a try.

Summary
They've done an awesome job of bringing this place back from the dead and it's well worth a visit. The four of us who went all ordered food, and despite all of us thinking the food was a tad expensive we all throughly enjoyed what we ordered. I would especially recommend ordering a scotch egg. Made in-house with a runny yolk. Yum!

It used to be a horrible place where nobody would want to go. It was the place you genuinely wanted to avoid as a normal person.
Now it's a super trendy and beautiful pub. You'll find all kinds of people here - young and old, families, couples or people that would come on their own!
Also a big plus: it's dog friendly! So you always have a cute dog to stroke and play with.
They also show sports, have street food tents in their garden and do other events.
Go there if you haven't done so yet - a place that went straight to the top of Bedford's pubs after it got refurbished!
B. D.Absolute game changer in the take-away game. The loaded chips, jalepeno poppers and nachos are out of this world.. Delicious food, great service and very reasonably priced consider they sell out most weekends!
k. a.Went for brunch on a Sunday. The food was brilliant. Sharing boards with actually enough food to share. Some gluten free options. Quite a lot of waffle combinations that this celiac had to miss but they looked delicious. I heard raving of the English breakfast from all at our table. I did end up talking with Suzy, the Forrester's wine expert during my visit there. She is wonderful and even hosts wine tasting classes at the Forrester. We are looking forward to those! Her passion and knowledge of wine was second to none in just the short conversation I had with her. Great pub, we are making this our new monthly brunch hang out!

Beer is kept so-so and most of the staff seem to struggle to pull a decent pint, but the interior is a revelation and the food looks and smells great ( I have yet to actually see a menu). Noisy football on the telly cost this review a star, but that's just me. I think this place will get it right sooner rather than later.

G. R.unfortunately I arrived just after the kitchen closed, having walked to 2 other places advertising that food was available. 1 was not serving anything I would describe as acceptable for an evening meal or even wholesome. The other was randomly just in a state of Doors locked at 8.45pm.
Nevertheless This pub, like most others, failed to offer a decent pumped dark stout or porter but had a very decent can alternative in the fridge (doesn't sound like a big deal but you would be surprised how most places don't do this)
I was quickly subject to a friendly and informative chat with the barman and 2 locals. I can't give 5 stars only because I didnt sample the food. But I would like to say you guys have restored my faith in Bedford.
Note to self...steer clear of Gastro pubs blowing their own trumpets and not delivering. Stick with the places run by real people for real people....
