C.Went for dinner with two friends on a Saturday evening. Table was booked. We arrived slightly late and I’m not sure what happened but the bartender and a male waiter seemed to be at loggerheads and we waited about half an hour before we had a table. Then there was a very argumentative guest who had a massive go at a waitress, which was a bit awkward.
It’s very, very small, almost claustrophobic with the very intense decor, not a space wasted but intimate and quirky.
The back of our booth wobbled something shockingly due to the guests behind us and there were other things I noticed about the place needing repair. Music was good but the volume definitely went up midway through the dinner and it just made conversation very difficult as the speaker was right above us.
The waiter was very nice, however. The food was lovely though the vegan bruschetta (on the vegan menu!) came out with cheese on top, which was a bit annoying. The cocktail menu was limited which we informed of on the menu to provide a quicker service but I wonder if this is really due to staffing issues but otherwise they were nice.
Mains were lovely as well.
Would still recommend but probably at a quieter time.

The menu was well rounded, the food was lovely and cocktails were delicious too!
Would give 5 stars if service was improved as they brought out the wrong food and also forgot to bring our sides.
Throughout the evening the staff approached our table with other people's orders and brought our drinks order to the wrong table BUT they were very nice and apologetic and were prompt at correcting themselves.
I would recommend dining here as overall the food and drinks were great!

n. d.Food was really nice, cocktails lovley, service was generally good. The main problem was when we came in. The tables are not given to specific parties on booking. So we had two separate tables for our party which wasn't advised at time of booking. And the manager at the time was more or less like take your business elsewhere I'm not bothered. It was for a hen night and our total bill was about £1500 that would be a lot of business to loose over her attitude. Another big issue was on the website it says no hen party accessories. So no veils, no "L" plates, tutus. Nothing. And there was at least 8 other hens in and all wearing the above mentioned and nothing said. Just very contradictory.

m. b.Liked this restaurant, visited early on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. Be sure to book to avoid disappointment. Quite a few people were turned away. Menu is suitable for everyone including a vegan choice, having said that it is fairly limited but that's no bad thing. Not too expensive at all. I'll go again.
J. T.I was attracted by its interior decoration the first day we arrived Belfast. The vintage and quirky theme is totally instagramable especially for those people like to take photos. You can see they use different antique material and elements to create a retro elegant atmosphere. But, unfortunately the food was not good as the looks. The pork belly I had was way too salty (covered with duck pancake sauce??) and the portion of herb gnocchi my bf had was small. Only the soup was relatively good.
S. M.AMPM has a very upmarket feel to it. The drinks were good, although expensive enough, and a 10% service charge was added to the bill (for cocktails only). The bill came out at £50 for 4 cocktails. Would still recommend despite this though.
R. L.I honestly was just expecting basic catering grub, boy was I wrong! Food was outstanding. Waiting staff were exceptional. Entertainment was refreshingly clever and very captivating. The booze is frightfully expensive but of good quality and measure. All in all a top night out. Break open your piggy banks and enjoy yourselves.
A. L.Great atmosphere, great service and plenty of food options. Reasonably priced food and drink and options suitable for young children. We fed 6 adults and two hungry children for around £120... and that included drinks (2 gins and I had a much needed large glass of wine!)

J. G.Food is absolutely amazing here, this was my second time in AMPM, however, the entertainment wasn't as good as the first time, only one Drag queen and one burlesque dancer for the whole night. The compere was hilarious and one of the singers was entertaining and really interacted with the crowd but found Kerri Quinn to be rude and disrespectful to people who were just having fun.

A. S.Used the Groupon which was really good and made the afternoon tea for 2 come to £20. The restaurant had really good decor, and staff was nice. However, there wasn't as much food as I was expecting for an afternoon tea. The sandwiches were nice and quite interesting I guess, but the scone was really quite small, it wasn't clotted cream which I prefer and the cakes were just...okay...? I only went because I really liked the decor. I did go for dinner once and quite liked the duck that they did, but the afternoon tea was kinda disappointing considering that it was meant to be expensive. Would probably go back though just because I love the decor.

E. L. T. 4.Wow wow wow the food here is simply put amazing!!! My husband and myself had a lovely weekend in Belfast and while we were there we visited ampm for our dinner. We had our young baby with us and they were able to accommodate us. The staff were all so very friendly and helpful. The food was out of this world. My husband had the braised beef cheeks which were so well cooked and so full of flavour we are both still dreaming about them. I had the trio of duck and it was some of the best duck ive ever had. The duck sausage i wasnt sure what to expect from but wow it was the tastiest sausage ive ever had.

S. H.This is probably the nicest place I have ever eaten. I have eaten in lots of places and I thought this was one of the most affordable, tastiest and quickest service places I have ever seen. I went with my girlfriend, we ordered the Bohemian chicken got a starter, I ordered the long island iced tea to drink and she ordered the aperol spritz and the starter arrived before the drinks. At first we thought it was a small enough portion for the starter but once we received the main we were happy that there wasn't more in the starter as the main had plenty. This was probably the best food I have ever eaten and I wish I could have stayed more nights in belfast to try the full menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I cannot stress enough how good the food was or how fast the service was.

The chef kept dining the bell for the waitress to pick them up but she couldn't as we were still eating. This made us feel we had to rush to finish and my friend's chips were cold when they arrived. I noticed lunch prices are the same as evening meal and it worked out very expensive for a lunch £93 for 2 starters, 2 mains, bottle of wine and 2 Calypso coffees. Can't afford that too often.
D. B.AMPM restaurant offers a lot of choice bookings both indoors and outdoors. It is very popular so will definitely need to book a few days in advance but once you have there's no trouble with waiting. We booked a Friday night at the treehouse and the weather was perfect. They catered very well for our vegetarian needs and we'll be back because of it.

Really missed the cabaret as everyone was looking forward to it as we've now been 3 Christmas outings, but couldn't be helped due to regulations. I was slightly disappointed at the lack of fish choice on menu as I'm pescatarian, but the others really enjoyed their meal. Lots of staff changes but they were a lovely team and very helpful. Booked for this years Christmas outing for cabaret so fingers crossed 🤞

We were part of a large party who had pre ordered, the food was slow to come out, 2 people at our table did not get the starters they had ordered and I did not get my dessert.They took it off the bill which was fine because I had such a delicious main course and wasn't bothered about the dessert. However we were a very large and awkward group so they did well with the few staff they had on.

E. M.Disappointing, we had booked afternoon tea. It should have been simple enough. Sandwiches were fine but scones were rock hard, got a cool reception when we asked for fresher ones and when they came back, all they had done was microwave them, it did help but not one apology. We were not looked after at all. We won’t be back.

L. J.The decor is fairy tale bohemian but classy with it. You are lit by small chandeliers and a candle on every table. The staff are warm and professional but not oily! I went in for lunch and for £6.50 ate a large plate of wild mushroom macaroni cheese in a gorgeous sauce garnished with a poached egg and cheese crumbs. It was heaven. Their lunch menu is fantastic value and while their dinner menu is naturally more expensive it is competitive. A visit here is a must!

It was a great afternoon, the tea was beautifully presented and served with a little cup of warm soup which was so different from lots of other afternoon teas I have had. The surroundings are so unusual that they add to the experience. Will look forward to another visit.
K. M.Went last Sunday to the afternoon cabaret show and it was fabulous! We were expecting Cherrie on top but the two ladies who were covering the show were excellent and very entertaining. The service was great and the Sunday roast was tasty enough. We went back a couple of days later for afternoon tea in the downstairs restaurant. Can’t wait for our next visit!!
P.s lovely young girl served us both in the Cabaret and then for afternoon tea wearing a blue Ralph Lauren shirt. Lovely manner with her and very polite!

Very cosy with strange decor but it feels nice and homely. The food here is just incredible and the portion sizes generous. The staff are always friendly and happy so you can have a bit of banter with them. Not overly expensive compared to other places near by.

Tried to order our food using the link the QR code takes you to and it didn't work - The music was pretty loud so I didn't want a staff member to have to come close to us to take our order ( for their safety and ours). We were given plates to use to share the small plates and they were dirty, one which had what looked like cheese stuck on it. The plates were then changed and I received another dirty plate which greasy. Pre covid this would have been bad enough but it really set a bad tone for the rest of the visit... I feel like we were just unlucky and it's probably not something that happens often but it has put us off retuning. Sorry

P. F.Came here for afternoon tea on a Sunday. Busy place with nice staff and deco. Food takes an awful long time to be serviced. It was ok but I've had much better. Even though it was afternoon tea it wasn't very filling. As with every restaurant these days, the tables were very close together. I am not a fan of this at all.

D. d.Visited the Cabaret supper club on Sunday 27th jan 2019. The venue is lovely & entertainment amazing, very talented. Food was disappointing, we both ordered the trio of Duck but the breast and sausage was so tough I could barely cut it and ended up only eating the leg. My friend ordered a coke when the food arrived as he was driving and had to ask for it again part way through meal, we finished up and still hadnt received the drink, eventually we had to ask for it again and got it, with an appology and it was wavered off the bill. We were not approached for desert so didnt get one, yet we still had to pay for service in our bill. Such a shame as it was a wonderful night despite the dissapointing meal. Would have given a higher score for a better meal.
A. N.Lush and romantic. Lovely little restaurant with fake flowers hanging from ceiling, quirky paintings and candlelight tables. Staff are professional and friendly. Drinks and food are good, great atmosphere. Small toilets but clean. The treehouse upstairs I havent seen, only in photos on FB, and it looks great.
