I think this is a real Irish experience! Live music with banjo( I would love to know the band’s name) great deals on the drinks as well. Lovely place for kids, the youth and family’s.

I gave this place a 4 based on location, atmosphere and drink selections. It is a really festive place with cool decor, good music and friendly staff. They have a lot of tasty cocktails and lots of beer on draft. The menu is pretty basic with fish and chips, chicken cutlets, burgers, fries etc. We found the food to pretty bland - not much flavor. I had the wings which had a great sauce (Frank’s) but the meat was very dry and lacking in flavor. My wife had the chicken cutlets and same thing - very little flavor. We both had chips and sorry to beat the proverbial dead horse; but, you guessed it - not much flavor. The prices were quite high for pub style food as well.

Mixed bag . Staff friendly and quick ( I had heard the opposite) food not so much. We both got steak sandwiches and steak was poor.. very poor. Thin and full of fat. Looked good though.lol

Great nights Craic. Booked with 5 friends for alacarte menu. Seated quickly, friendly staff, good food. Live band excellent. Felt comfortable as not overcrowded and seating well spaced out. Guys on the door were making sure everyone had their covid passes. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing 👏 place ! Staff 5 star service very friendly and helpful. Food great value for the money. Outstanding and delicious 😋
B. B.
Very pricey £10 a cocktail. However the cocktails were nice. There was live music but a pillar was blocking our view to the stage. Decor was nice.
E. F.
Absolutely brilliant night here last this weekend. Food was delicious and the 2 for £10 cocktails were amazing. Starters and main courses were fabulous, staff were friendly and helpful, venue was spotless and toilets were unique. Will definitely be back
S. R.
Staff really welcoming and friendly, and service was quick which suited us as we were heading on to a show. Food arrived promptly but it was just ok, which was disappointing. Hence the missing star ⭐ The live entertainment was good and we would definitely return, but only for drinks. Cocktail Menu looked good also.

Second time visiting first time had the steak open sandwich oh my it was amazing. Tonight they let me sit inside as I was freezing and upset. Gave me a tea on the house. I had forgot my purse in work and my boss refused to come back for me to get it so I was stuck in Belfast. I eventually got a lift home. Very friendly staff and amazing customer service. Thank you for tonight, faith in humanity restored.

Ladies night: 2 cocktails and 2 main courses. food was fine but very disappointed in cocktails they were both vodka base and I don't drink vodka. One should of been gin base. Music very good. Good atmosphere.

I liked our visit here, The service was fabulous as usual and the live music was cool.
L. D.
Had a booking of 11 people and all paid deposits food and drinks were lovely! But when wanting to order multiple starters each we were told no it had to be one starter and side per person. Then one person from our party didn't make it and they took the deposit didn't deduct from the bill and kept it to themselves even tho it was still a party of 10 . Asked for forks to be told there in front of you and walked away. There was only a pit full of knifes. Some staff were very friendly and helpful others just seemed like they couldn't be arsed doing their job. Just disappointing when spending over £300.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, incredible menu. There was a small mistake on my order but staff were super accommodating and very efficient in correction.
I love the walking stick banister design 😍
J. K.
I only had a starter of garlic bread with cheese and bacon this came out on a garnish of rocket, I also had a side of salt and chilli chips these were absolutely delicious and mouth watering, I wish I has been more hungry to have had a main. This was washed down with a Guinness which was so lovely and creamy. I got recommended this place by a taxi driver so glad I visited it,it's so quirky and unusual I couldn't help but keep taking pictures. If your in Belfast make sure you visit this place. I also believe they normally have bands on all day every day but due to covid this isn't possible so missed out otherwise my experience here would have been even better.

An absolutely fantastic time celebrating my birthday with my bestie. Food was excellent😋, cocktails 🍸 were WOW!!!, staff were very friendly and very attentive🤩 Music was great🎶 Overall we had an amazing night from start to finish 🥰
C. S.
Service was decent and drinks were exceptional. The food however was a bit expensive for the portions. I must recommend the “all shapes and sizes” fries option as well!
J. D.
Really like this bar. They always have a variety of live music. Outside smoking area with plenty of overhead heaters. Good food also.
S. B.
OK for a drink.
Busy city centre bar, nice atmosphere live music etc.
Food was meh, breaded chicken goujons just like cheap supermarket type. Burger was just OK. Definitely not worth the money.
Would visit again for a drink but Definitely not to eat, was disappointing.

Our first night in Belfast we tried to eat here and was turned away because we didn't have a reservation. We made a reservation for three people for the following evening online and had to wait for approval. We did get confirmation. When we got there and told the person at the front desk that we had a reservation he hesitated and said he would see what he can do. We did not feel welcome at all and the food was average.
D. W.
Quirky decor good live music even for a Sunday the place was buzzing . Loved the food chicken curry was amazing and the staff where attentive without being overbearing. Will be back for sure
I.
Had dinner and breakfast the next morning here. All the staff were very attentive. Quick service, really nice food and a fab atmosphere. The decor is quirky and fun and is a real standout venue. I left a gift here by accident here and they kept hold of it until the next day, was very happy to be reunited with it.
E. P.
Lovely and cozy place. Excellent staff. Perfect food and drinks at a good price. Decoration is one more attraction. I strongly recommend
W. S.
Nice big restaurant with multiple live performers all day long. Menu more international than English though. Prices are very reasonable and portions are good size. If you want to hear the music but still be able to hold a conversation I suggest you have them seat you in the back area. The sound at the front near the main entrance can be somewhat overwhelming :)
N. M.
We booked in for an anniversary meal and we were not disappointed. The food and drint was insane and the bar staff and their enthusiasm was infectious. Barman with and glasses if hes not management then you need to make that happen!
R. J. R.
Popped in here for breakfast. Order was taken quickly and the food arrived equally as quick. Portion size was just right and price very reasonable compared to the £14 they wanted off me at the hotel for my cooked breakfast!!
Hats off to the person who decorated the windows for Christmas - they look amazing.
E. V.
The place is super cute and the staff is great. The attention to detail for decorations is amazing, would go back just to sit in the cupboard. The chicken wings are fantastic and the mashed potatoes are trily buttery, not a fan of the Guinness pie, too salty, but the burger is tasty.
A. P.
Stopped in for pint or two before a gig at the Waterfront. Busy spot had to sit outside in the beer garden. But a pleasant enough experience. Staff are friendly and attentive.
S. R.
Staff and door staff super friendly..
Didn't eat but the food coming out off the kitchen looked amazing..
This place looked like a great place for a party or a Saturday afternoon with friends..
Give it a go you won't be disappointed 😌
M. S.
Nice place to have a drink and basic bites. I give it 1 point more than average because they did a great job with the theme, specially the ceiling, check it out on the pics!
Attention was great, and beers are good, as most of the bars in the city.
It also has TVs and they host most of the important sports events.
r. m.
Just after eating our family dinner here. And what can I say... WOW!!!! Steak was unreal!! Ordered Blue- and it was! First steak in long time cooked to perfection as per my request :-) compliments to front of the house staff and kitchen. Definitely will be back and will recomend to friends:-)
M. P.
Always good in any of these branches good food very friendly staff and a good choice of drinks all well priced
A. D.
Great bar, atmosphere was fantastic, lot of young people and hen parties
N. M.
Easy going and felt comfortably whilst relaxing inside. Food wasn't anything to talk about and service was basic.. Good music from the traditional band. would go again for a drink but not to eat.
K. N.
Lovely atmosphere. Service was brill. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food very tasty and resonably priced. First time there and will definately return.

Restaurant was a lovely experience. Loved the decor. Staff were absolutely lovely. Food was good. Location very central.
R. A.
Very good food In a busy bustling bar with great music and staff....a hot spot!!!
C. K.
Fish and chips - huge portion of fish! Delicious! Our chips were a bit undercooked, when we pointed this out to the server they removed half of our bill charges which was appreciated. Great pub atmosphere.
D. R.
Great spot, live music, good service and curtious staff

Grand afternoon and first class hospitality at Granny Annie's for St Patricks Day, many thanks to all brilliant staff and entertainers making us so welcome

The theming of the restaurant was fun and food was good , overall the atmosphere was nice and staff were helpful. Recommend if in Belfast

Fabolous enterior, something new and wacky around the corner eben the bathroom is a must see. Excellent and good value food in a fun and true to its brand fun such as cocktails served in grannys teapot and chips in tin cups. Gavin served us with attentiveness and was on the ball with orders. Definently on the top of what to do and where to go when in Belfast.
T.
Lovely decor and drinks were at a decent standard. Good promotion was on with the cocktails.
R. M.
The place is very unique and fun , busy pub and good food reasonably priced.
M. O.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Very busy. Fitted us in. Food lovely
C. O.
Food & choice of drinks excellent, as was the service & prices are reasonable, LOVED IT.
L. E.
Best place to eat in Belfast. So quirky, amazing food, live music and lovely staff.
A. M.
Loved it ! Michael and the staff treated us like family . Steak sandwich was delicious so tasty. And the cocktails with the live music made the visit so good. So good in fact we returned again and again ... Brilliant 👏
t. p.
so nice, the live music was amazing there was a woman and a man singing and playing the guitar then two guys playing guitar singing and doing drums, such vibes in my opinion, they were brilliant, very millennial vibes though but still cute
R. M.
Great location, great food and great live music. A must visit place when you're in Belfast.
A. S.
Went to Granny Annie’s as I am a granny Annie. Nice food and atmosphere
M. M.
Food was nice when they were open. Closed early. Opened late.
S. D.
Went here after scooter as need bathroom. It was closing but the kind man on the door said I couldn't get a drink as the bar was closed but he allowed me to use the bathroom. Staff very friendly and we would have loved to have had a drink and sit outside. Lovely decor and very clean inside. We would normally go here for a drink when u Belfast but as I say they had closed up for the evening. No fault of the bar was just how the concert finished late and we missed getting in.
S. B.
Great atmosphere, good selection of drinks available. Live band on the night was great.
J. S.
Wonderfully decorated throughout and great food. Live music every night too. If your visiting Belfast a stop here is a winner. Don't forget to check out the ceilings!
L. M.
Went recently for my birthday with a group of 12. We were catered for amazingly by staff members who were friendly and helpful! The food served was delicious and came out very quickly, with amazing service! Their cocktails are gorgeous and I will definately be booking with them again.
G. L.
Food was lovely and the staff where really friendly taking the time to speak to you about more than just what do you want definitely be back
A. G.
Great bar with plenty of live music , if you're in Belfast it's a must visit .

Always a favourite and never disappoints . Food first class and great staff. Won't be long until I'm back!
B. M.
I love this place! Dishes, drinks, atmosphere, services...All at high standard

Got recommended this place by a friend so I made a booking which then was requested to phone to make pay a deposit which after a whole day of calling and not getting any answer and sending messages via Facebook was worried that they would cancel on me. A lady called me the next morning and explained that nobody was around to answer the phone of an evening and my booking was safe.
Got there and such a cool place. The quirky decor and traditional irish band playing popular music was good.
The food was amazing. First time I ever had a poached egg that was breaded and fried and what a delight on top of a homemade pesto tagliatelle with chicken.
Overall a great place and child friendly too as we had our 5 month old son which loved the lights.
Highly recommend.
A. C.
Nice pub. Didn't eat. Just a quick drink. Food looked good. Friendly staff. Worth a visit. Caters well for any foreign tourists with the atmosphe and decor.
G. G.
In for a quick bite of lunch.
Shame the cocktails offer that is advertised is not available.....2 for £10 (12-7pm)
Tables a bit sticky...
Cocktails very good, no complaints 👌🏼
Kids enjoyed their meal. 😋
Nice atmosphere.
Authentic interior
Friendly staff
E. H.
Large portions, comfortable seating, plenty of room to move about. Prices good for value and flavor. Had a sampler platter of starters, too much salt for me and a bowl of seafood chowder, large amounts of seafood and broth was excellent. Nice wine selection and prompt coureous service.
K.
Great spot just off the city centre to pop in and have bite to eat or just have a drink...
k. a.
So quirky and cosy the style and atmosphere won over completely and the food was delicious too, our whole group thoroughly enjoyed!!
H. S.
Went for a couple of cocktails very nice relaxed atmosphere
C. M.
Super overpriced food. Atmosphere is lovely with live music, if you can still enjoy a noisy bar then its good. Its very up to date and hipster. But mainly extremely overpriced for a burnt burger, tarchy chips and water.
C. F.
Recently had dinner here on a weeknight, it was surprisingly busy which was great to see. We were told we couldn’t get food til 8pm but could go for a drink in the beer garden which was fine. The restaurant wasn’t full at all though which was odd. The nice man at the door came to get us before 8pm though which was great.
Fish&Chips was great - menu a bit confusing though about sides being included…sounds like they aren’t included for fish&chips but they are. Was charged £1 for Mayo which seems a lot. Good service but not everyone wearing masks if you care about that :) thanks for a great meal and cocktails
A. J.
Great food and personnel. Live music 5+
V. R.
Chicken gougons were more like chicken nuggets and very few on the plate. Shame...
Staff nice.
S. M.
Good service and friendly staff. Nice cocktails, but food is distinctly average. Food was delivered to our table very quickly which would make me think it may have been pre-prepared and reheated.
A nice spot for drinks, wouldn't return for food.
C. G.
I am a plain eater and they did me chicken breast, potatoes and veg, which wasn't t listed on the menu. So helpful and the food was delicious. The staff were so friendly and attentive from the minute we arrived until we left, even though they were busy. Would definitely recommend a visit here for lunch.
J. T.
Interesting food. Different ceiling attire. Never been before, so was good to try it out.
E. D.
Service was amazing! And lovely food! Great quality!
T. M.
Nice quirky little spot. Very busy with a great atmosphere. Great cocktails & often has live bands playing.
J. A.
If you love good wholesome food and great portions this is a must visit.. Just seeing the decor inside alone is worth a visit.. Our service was very good with polite staff.. The food was scrumptious and so good we returned before leaving Belfast. Our coctails were fanfastic highly recommend the Bramble gin or the Wee JJ
C. F.
Great service, great cocktails, great atmosphere, nice food. We came here after just getting engaged and they really looked after us. Gave us a free bottle of prosecco perry, nice touch. Staff very friendly and chatty.
D. C.
Popped in for a quick bite at lunch time. Told server we were in a hurry to catch a tour. Service was fantastically quick. Lovely food. Really friendly staff. Fair prices.
E. N.
Happy hour is deceptive and the portions are kinda small, the interior design is bussin doe
M. S.
Excellent, great food, great service, good atmosphere
M. M.
Great food, and service. Would highly recommend!
d. g.
Bit like a thunderroad cafe type vibe, but with a granny theme 👵...lots of stags and hens groups come here for food and drinks and the live music. Good fun atmosphere. Service wasn't great, orders were wrong a lot. Usual burger and chips type menu
H. C.
Great atmosphere, quick service. 2 cocktails for £10 , brilliant 👏
K. F.
Hi, I just wanna Congratulate you on your Venue & entertainment. Me and some friends came to Belfast for a weekend away!
After trying a few bars that day in the City centre we arrived at your venue! A small two piece band played who were very entertaining, after the band your dj came on and stole the show for us! I think his name was Conor..
The atmosphere was Electric! He played a wide range of music that suited a group like ours! some young and not so young lol everyone of us, thoroughly enjoyed in our group!
Managed to catch his name off your Facebook account..
Very happy Customers! Highly recommend
Thanks Kathleen
d. h.
Watery cocktails, average burger, overpriced for what it get, but nice environment and plenty of space.
M. M.
Mixed view about my visit here. Staff inside the bar were very pleasant and helpful. However waiter who was outside seemed totally disinterested and his service was verging on rude. I found the social distancing between the tables questionable. We'd a reasonably pleasant visit but wouldn't rush back.
c. p.
Very nice ambience and good food especially the peppered burger
N. M.
Myself and my boyfriend got lunch and cocktails today. Table service is amazing and the staff cannot do enough for you in there ( we were served by marky mark). Great cocktails, good food and quick service.
J. M.
Excellent, food, service, and prices. No complaints. A very good night out..
f. R.
Food was very nice. Staff were rude. Took 30 mins to get the bill after asking repeatedly.
E. A.
Had the best experience from moment stepped into Granny Annie's. The waitress named Paula was brilliant she was very pleasant helped with everything and made sure to cone and check on all of us that were there. Paula was very polite and made our night a very enjoyable one. Thank you.
L. C.
Nice place to hangout.. Food was ok.
The flower arrangement in the ambience always make me feel good.
Good music too
M. F.
Great food, friendly staff, neat scenery.
A. C.
Absolutely fantastic place. Staff were really friendly . We had a baby with us and they looked after us from the min we walked in the door. Will visit again 100%

Great service and food! Cocktails pricey for what you actually get
R. W.
Lovely staff. Food was excellent. Will certainly be back.
S. M.
Good service and friendly staff. Nice cocktails, but food is distinctly average. Food was delivered to our table very quickly which would make me think it may have been pre-prepared and reheated. …
C. V.
They worked hard and kept the tables moving, the staff were polite and attentive, and the drinks good. Only letdown was the food, which was slightly too fast food. But we liked it, and will be back
k. a.
So quirky and cosy the style and atmosphere won over completely and the food was delicious too, our whole group thoroughly enjoyed!!
R. V.
A good bar, but food isn't best
L. P.
Nice food, friendly staff. Would visit again

Visiting recently while in Belfast on my hen party and honesly could not have asked for better service, everyone we dealt were so helpful and so acomadating to our crowd! Food was great, drinks were great, music and atmosphere were fantastic, will definitely be back

This place is wonderful and has a great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked fresh and is very hot, would definitely recommend it for the whole family from nippers to grannies
Love From Granny Annie
C. W.
Food was excellent and arrived quickly, however took a while for orders to be taken and prices listed on website are different from I'm the restaurant (more expensive)
J. H.
Unable to fault the place in any way, ordered food for 2 midday and found that the staff, atmosphere and food itself to be excellent which I feel justifies the price if you'd consider going on special occasions.
P. M.
Great service, food and a wee tune or two in the background. Perfect for a Friday lunchtime wind down 🍺
S. O.
Great atmosphere and good food.
D. H.
Friendly staff. Good food. Loud music but turned it down when asked.
J. D.
What a quaint and quirky find!?! Tastey food and well priced. Already planning next visit!

Had a great time here for a mates going away do in work. Friendly staff and place was tidy. Food is lovely
D. H.
Had the best night here at Granny Annies when I was over from London and everything from the cool outdoor garden area to the greag selection of drinks and fun cocktails made it a top experience.
Highly recommended - if you're ever in Belfast then you have to come here!
C. N.
Great service and food! Cocktails pricey for what you actually get

Nice place, friendly staff. We haven't tried the food as we had limited time, so we accepted offer of table for drinks only, to overcome the queue :)
A. C.
Absolutely fantastic place. Staff were really friendly . We had a baby with us and they looked after us from the min we walked in the door. Will visit again 100%
H. A.
Great quirky pub in Belfast, definitely worth a visit.
J. M.
Love this place, the wee JJ is my favourite. Great cocktails for great prices. Good atmosphere.

Quaint place...had a good time...staff very attentive..one problem with nachos..lassies were convinced it was jarred cheese, you know the stuff you heat in microwave nd not grated cheddar per say,I wouldnt mind as I like it but one of the girls was allergic I think she said so couldnt/ wouldnt eat it...rest was brill though.
T. K.
Great internal decor, quiet and friendly staff, but the coffee we had wasn't something special.
S. K.
Very good food. Owners and staff very friendly. Overall, a good experience and definitely worth a visit.
e. M.
Beautiful food..quick friendly service..
S. P.
Great food& service fantastic.
The manager was extremley helpfull and got us another table when we had finished our food as our time slot was up! Also accomodated a few more of our friends joining us!
Atmosphere great too.
S. S.
Went on a Friday night for dinner. A bit to packed for my liking, would maybe have been better for a week night or Sunday. Music was good i have to say, if you don't mind the crowds could be good spot for a drink. Cocktails were nice, at £7 it's about normal prices. Food was so so, wasn't impressed that the sweet potato fries i paid extra for were rather over cooked.
G. c.
Amazing time all together.
Decoration going into the restaurant is quirky and amazing. Something good to look at while eating their delicious food. Fast service of food and drinks. Everything was to a high standard including service and cleanliness.
C. B.
I was with a stag do of 13 people and I wanted to take them to place was good food and a good atmosphere. We went at 3:30 on a Friday. We booked. Every other table was full. There was music playing and the atmosphere was good. I ordered a burger and chips and it was good. We all have a few drinks and left after 2 or 3 hours. Worth trying
A. O.
Great location and and nice outdoor area with lots of heaters over the tables. We went for a few drinks and staff were friendly, good choice of cocktails and beers available.
P. B. (.
Fantastic food and drinks. Lovely place. Would be one star more if you either add malibu to piña colada or update your card because for now it's a lie ;) Definitely reccomend this place anyway.
G. O.
Great meal, great service, great entertainment, great atmosphere !
a. t.
Went there for late sisters birthday, it was nice
D. B.
Very good food and service but quite expensive tho (around £5 p/pint). Great atmosphere tho, would recommend.
J. M.
Stunning, just beautiful place. One of the nicest gastro pubs ive been too. This place oozes coolness
T. D.
Brilliant food and atmosphere!
K.
Food took quite a while and vegetarian options were extremely limited on the Sunday menu, but the food was tasty when it arrived.
The kids portions are huge ( the sunday roast meal would be more than enough for an adult) so it felt quite wasteful for our 3 year old twins even though the server assured us before we ordered that the portion size was suitable. Not a terrible experience but not as nice as other places we have been in the last few days.
J. M.
Here now food excellent bar fantastic if you want to dine here i advise that you book i give it five stars but not every one will not disappointed
A. K.
Seemed okay, although the food is pricey for a snack, and choice is rather limited.
C. M.
We had dinner here this evening, we didn’t have a reservation and we also had our one year old daughter in her pram. The staff were more than accommodating, and we were seated quickly in an accessible area, with enough room for the three of us - despite Granny’s being reasonably busy. The food was lovely, but staff alone were reason to come back!
E. M.
Sat outside and was very comfortable. Went indoors to bathroom and although it appeared to be busy all tables were well separated and everyone was seated. Table service only which I like.
L. C.
Lovely bar and friendly staff
s. m. (. g.
The place is located near the Albert tower. It looked great and has nice retro ambiance to it. The menus were quite simple and they didn't let us order the Christmas menu, which can only be ordered through reservations. The waiters seemed very uninterested with three people serving us, once can see no enthusiasm. It may be due to long hours but we did go early at 7:00 PM. The food was just OK. Considering its one of the popular restaurants in Belfast, they need to look into their customer feedback.
L. H.
Really nice place to eat or grab drinks. The staff are really friendly, the food is pretty good and it has a good atmosphere. I feel it's maybe a tad expensive for some of the food but other items are well priced. The salt and chilli fries in particular are not worth £2 extra as they are just chunky chips with some salt and flavor thrown on top. Overall though we had a nice experience and I'd probably go back.
D. L.
Such potential for a 5 star review. Found the staff quite friendly on my visit. Had the once off red velvet cake which I adore. But to my disappointment it was clearly store bought and had custard dripping all over it. It wasn't bad I suppose. A place like this needs a great cook cooking fresh and nice food.
J. A.
Went there for a fast lunch with some colleagues before a training, we told the staff that we needed food fast and that we needed 2 different bills, one for food and one for alcohol, which they did without any issues. They were also very friendly, I took the Chicken Chorizo wrap, it was good but nothing crazy. I will go back at least for a pint so I can enjoy it slowly without being in a rush. The place in itself is nice !
m. W.
Loved the decor! Staff were good, only criticism was we went for lunch, that seemed to be the most limited menu. But that would depend on your own taste. Would definetly go back and is really family friendly.
N. K.
Fantastic place for food and drinks with very polite and helpful staff.
S. M.
Amazing food, amazing custom and a great atmosphere.
Wish I had come on a music day but the music they had on was class anyway ;)
Thanks Granny!
E. K.
Staff are very friendly and decor is very cool! Great place to watch rugby! Only thing I would say that the food is slightly expensive for what it is. My burger was ok but chips were very nice!
K. M.
Geraldine was fexking fantastic! Absolutely made our night! Total babe, ask her to be your waitress, absolute babe, mighty craic and just good fun! Made our night. Legend!
l. K.
Our server Paula was lovely, she went above and beyond for my sister Paulines hen do, thank you Paula.
Your food was gorgeous

Great Food Music and Drinks in a very unusual setting.

Just home after a wonderful day at Granny Annies treating mum for her lunch recommended to my family and friends to book a table and experience the food excellent service and staff very helpful and cocktails are yummy 😋 recommend jaw/box gin
L. N.
Unique place. The staff are friendly and serving is very fast. The food is average.
R. C.
I love this place. The food is gorgeous and reasonably priced. The staff are lovely. Cocktails are delicious and pretty cheap too. Always has a nice wee atmosphere. 🙄
J. L.
Granny Annie’s food is nice but its not amazing, I haven’t been in a while but the menu doesn’t seem to have changed. There can often be a long wait for a table but when you get seated the staff are usually friendly. There is good atmosphere in granny annies as they usually have live music.
R. W.
Lovely staff. Food was excellent. Will certainly be back.
J. W.
Brilliant decor, drinks and dining plus great music too!
B. S.
Food was OK. The place was absolutely heaving which made drink service at the bar very slow. But with more staff I'd have given it 5 stars. Loved the look, decor was well quirky but great.
R. N.
This place as a big problem is that too many people enjoy it. It's hard sometimes to get a table. Love the decoration... The nachos are great to have with a pint.. really good live music.. overall good time...
N. M.
Visited here on a Monday night. If youre looking for somewhere different, with great food, top service and a real local feel to it, this is your place. Food was first class, we got to pull our own Guinness, and the venue was quality, totally different to anything we have been to. Shout out to Steve Quinn, who couldn't do enough for us and was great with the kids. He is a credit to the venue
S. F.
Lovely venue, food was beautiful and arrived surprisingly fast. The steak ordered was cooked perfectly to what I had requested and could have been cut with my finger it was that tender. The live music was excellent and enhanced the already buzzing atmosphere of the place. We will be back again.
M. S.
Good spot sat outside with friends food food and beer however surly staff and the rules are made up as they go no food outside whilst people in the next table are served..food..great for people watching as the world goes by.
R. V.
A good bar, but food isn't best
l. k.
Excellent customer service food very fast and excellently cooked reasonable prices definitely recommend
J. P.
Nice atmosphere in this chain pub / restaurant. You will get all the typical food you expect from a pub, and it is a nice meal! If you come back in the evening or night time, there is usually someone playing live music as well!
L. Y.
A quirky little restaurant in Belfast. You’ll find yourself captivated by the interior design. A great atmosphere, with live acoustic music often being played. Excellent customer service and good food. Usually very busy so definitely worth booking a table to avoid a long wait.
H. C.
Good N. Ireland fare. Reasonable prices.
R.
Staff were very pleasant, however food could have been better. Certainly attracts a younger crowd
J.
Really nice pub. Lovely lively atmosphere & good music playing overhead. Great selection of beers & the Guinness hits the right spot. So much to look at on the walls & roof of this establishment & lots of talking points. Friendly service & pretty all round funky.
D. B.
Beautiful food, highly recommend the battered cod.
D. B.
Went for lunch recently. My wife, daughter, & I having not booked thought we may have a wait as they were busy. As we entered a friendly waitress was there to greet us & straight away showed us to a table & provided menus for us to peruse. The restaurant was buzzing with chatter from tables around, & background music was enjoyable. A waiter arrived to take our order, attired in uniform of apron & flat cap which we had thought was tidy & quirky. Our meals arrived very promptly & although there was a slight error in one, it was dealt with quickly & professionally. We admired the decor & without spoiling the surprise look upwards at the room on the ceiling. Really enjoyed our visit & shall definitely return. Full Marks !!!

Great service, delicious food and damn good pub music ☺️
1.
Had a band playing at one stage. They were very Good, all your favourites for the 80s right up to present day. Followed by DJ again played great music. Big crowds however was still able to get served at bar in minutes. Wasn't able to get a table to sit at though.
C. D.
Myself and 5 workmates went during the Eat In To Help Out Deal,4 had the Rump steak and chips and one had the Burger and Chips, wouldn't say the quality was top notch, plus over cooked chips and hard roll on the burger bun,few of the ones were saying that they've definitely had better while there before so hopefully it just during this deal, but personally I wasn't fussed on the food taste or quality, and first impressions always count in my opinion, but I must add the service was excellent and the stuff on the door were very accommodating and the server couldn't do enough for us as a group.
O. B.
Great spot for food. The live music can be very loud so I would advise a seat towards the front or back of the restaurant. Always plenty of staff on so the service is good. Everything is very reasonably priced. I have been here many times and never disappointed.
J. C.
Breakfast fry was good although £7.50 was pricey enough. No coffee available as they had ran out so we got teas on the house. Nice and quirky interior.
S. K.
Delicious food and lovely servers, only wish music was bit more quiet
P. W.
Food was awesome, atmosphere seemed pretty good but they could do with either turning the music down a notch or not having music while people are out dining with friends or family. Difficult to have a conversation
T. M.
Called in for lunch last week food was nice, staff were friendly and courteous, I had a nice pint of Guinness and my wife enjoyed 2 cocktails for £10 which were on special offer
K. D.
The buzz in this place is fantastic. Good live music, freindly staff. Great atmosphere.
Only problem was the food. The order was messed up at the start, the mains were not at all appetising. Steak was very very salty and over cooked. And the chicken goujons were bland, dry and tasteless.
That said, i understand it was very busy that night and people i had spoke to said the food is normally very good.
The manager could not be more apologetic and compensated us for the trouble.
I would have to say that we would love to go back again but not sure if we would eat again.
Honest but fair.
A. B.
Food was a bit dry and desert was like jelly
S. K.
Great ambience. Great staff. Great Beer too.
However, Burgers are Ok if not great.
Try the Steak. Place gets crowded in the evenings. The live band is an added joy.
So, Go Granny Annie...
C. S.
Good place to grab lunch if you're in Belfast shopping. Nice decor and clean. Can get quite busy so may be advisable to book in advance. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
L. G.
Great food and good atmosphere with live music most weekends. We were here for a graduation party and it was a little loud so not great for having a conversation. Our waiter was very attentive but a few others were a bit rude at times although obviously this wasn't helped by it being such a busy night.
M.
Nice music Good service and food
P. M.
Brilliant great staff. Steve was very good and the Welsh lad. Toilets blew me away great. Will use again when back.. really good food too. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit..
C. T.
We stop here for something to eat. Menu looks good, a bit expensive for pub grub. My wife's meal was not satisfactory. Lukewarm to say the least. The staff were very helpful and we got a new meal. Drink prices very expensive £5 for a pint.
k.
Very busy, went in for a few drinks with friends around six thirty place was packed couldn't get a table so sat at bar. One of our party wanted to order something to eat, after the third attempt to get someone to take our order he gave up, nice place, liked the live music, service needs to be better.
A. P.
Excellent service. The food, not so much. And I am sure they absolutely ignored my feedback on the food. I think the manager even gave me a mean look, because of that :) Anyway, nice place to visit once.
E. P.
Food was nice, lovely, friendly staff, quick service
R. L.
This place serves the best dish and chips in Belfast. It's an eclectic place where you actually feel like you are in your grannies house. This was my 3rd visit taking friends from Barcelona and Australia. I've been in the shed, wardrobe and kitchen. It's always busy for lunch and it's popularity continues through the evening with great food, music and staff.
J. C.
As always the food was lovely but service was poor. Waited 30 mins to try to order dessert and tried to get the attention of the servers but we were ignored. Noticed 2 members of staff in the corner doing nothing and looked to be eating. Gave up and got our coats to go to the till to pay. Our son was very disappointed as he was looking forward to getting his fudge cake. Went home to get ice cream at mauds. Won't be rushing back.
K.
Visited on a very busy night for dinner with friends. Waiter was lovely and very quick. Couldn't do enough for us! Would have given 5 stars but music is FAR TOO LOUD!!!! Moved outside thinking it would be quieter but it was worse. Turn it down a bit!
T. B.
Loved it here, in Belfast. Tasty food, burger based cuisine. Great premises, real eye candy going on for the diner. Reasonably priced too. Staff could smile a bit more tho!
M. O.
First time here. Busy spot. Live music. A happening place. Kitchen did me a G/F fish dish off menu. Excellent. Service good too, considering the crowd. Good time had by all.
D. I.
Don't leave Belfast without eating here absolutely brilliant with live music... the food was fantastic
D. W.
Great atmosphere and with 25 % off food bill well worth the money
S. J.
Called in for lunch. Cod and chips was amazing. Good service. Very quirky decor. Will call in again some evening.
Tip. Go early for lunch. We came at 12:10pm and by the time we were leaving it was getting seriously busy.
M. B.
Atmosphere is brilliant, i would go here regularly for a pint after work on a Friday or Saturday, they have a great selection of drinks & cocktails on the menu so you will be spoilt for choice. The place is always buzzing with so many interesting people inside, you never know who you'll meet. Its always really busy which is a good sign, but don't worry If you can't find a seat as they have outside seating as well and if it gets a bit chilly they have gas heaters shadowing the tables. You can't lose.
D. R.
Comfortable pleasant atmosphere. Service is excellent. Food was served quickly and was hot and well cooked. Portions are generous and good value for money. Enjoyed it. I would recommend it.
H. H.
Caitlin took amazing care of us. We were a massive group but she did us sound and didn't make us feel like a burden
M. W.
Such a great experience, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is even better
J. M.
Wow- quaint surroundings with lovely helpful staff Had a great gluten free menu for my colleague so we were happy! Busy too but we were well attended - No complaints here will definitely visit again
G. D.
Had a great breakfast. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
H. N.
Dined here, with my wife, on the evening of 31st January , having a pre-show meal before the Strictly Come Dancing Tour at the SSE Arena.
We were well looked after by Nicola from start to finish and the food and menu choices could not be faulted - excellent experience.
Staff were very helpful, chatty and friendly - we will definitely return and we highly recommend this restaurant.
L. C.
Lovely food and atmosphere the bar/restaurants décor is different it's a must see Live music on whilst having dinner. The service was great.
Easy to get to from the Victoria centre.
No parking on site but it's located in city centre so plenty of car parks about.
J. B.
Very Irish, even catered for Vegans and was open new year's Day
C. F.
Food was so good we went for lunch and dinner in the same day! Our server Steve when we came back for dinner was brilliant. He was warm, welcoming and good craic! He made excellent recommendations about both the food and the drink. Really made our night. Thanks Steve!
C. D.
Christmas Dinner was special atmosphere Brill service great
H. W.
I love this place great atmosphere
P. C.
Nice place for a bite to eat. Food was served super quick... I'm sure it was less than 2 minutes after ordering. Would recommend but be prepared to sit at high tables if you haven't booked.
J. H.
It was my first time in here and we had a meal/drink, we were served by a lovely gentleman with a dublin accent very well mannered and a pleasure to be served by him, we will defo be back meal was wonderful and good size portions. Keep up the great work
A. T.
Food was great. Service was great. So friendly & polite lol.
S. H.
Nice bar with unique styling. Good range of drinks and good food to go with it. Interesting to note that the tables have USB charging points, you just need to bring a cable!
C. M.
Very lively atmosphere- would say it would be good for a drink with the mates or to watch a match. Also very intricate decor- so much to take in. However in regards to food I gave it a 3/5 as I don't think it's one of the best places to eat in Belfast but it's not too bad. I had a fillet steak which was a tad too fatty for my liking and a bit overpriced for the quality.
S. N.
Food and drink was really good. Nice vibe. Good music. Would have given 5 stars but the staff were a bit laxy daisy
K. N.
Stumbled across grannies ha ing a wander around.
Cocktails 2 for 10 and pints of Guinness.......just what we wanted after journeying.
S. Q.
l this place is a great spot 4 food and drinks good staff craic does be 90 in it
H. R.
Brilliant service and great food
C. t. 1.
Brilliant food & atmosphere
J. M.
Good food live music was great and the decor was great. Definitely recommend.
C.
Above average steaks, good presentation of the dishes, live music some nights. Friendly staff, nice decoration of the place. We had to book ahead of time as it usually gets very busy.
P. M.
Had hen party package! Absolute fab deal! Service excellent, food and atmosphere great.
H. T.
Service sucks. Took 5 minutes to sit me when I was the only one waiting. Also, they sat people who came in after me prior to seating me. I sat for 5 minutes before I waved down my would be server and asked if she was my server because multiple servers passed by without even making eye contact. She said she was and after I told her I had been sitting for 5 minutes, she responded that she was busy. However, she passed by me and cleaned up a table next to me during that time without even greeting me. Didn't even apologize for the wait. Food was alright. Talked to the manager and he apologized and compensated my meal.
c. h.
We have been to a "Grannys" at Enniskillen
which we really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere in the pub, this one at Belfast although having all the usual facilities we didn't like the tables and seating arrangements which were rather regimented and didn't create the nice feel that we were expecting.
Fast and friendly service though but no on site parking for this busy City pub.
Loads of people here during our lunch time visit so it is obviously a very popular place, check it out and make your own mind up.
M. B.
Went for lunch. The service is fast & the staff are friendly and efficient. We had a variety of food, I had the Scampi and it was one of the best I've ever had! The decor is really quirky. 😍
M. O.
Staff were really nice and the food came out really quickly despite it being so busy!
F. S.
Great bar. It's big enough that when with tourists and locals streaming in you can still get service and find a seat. Staff is friendly and the drink selection is huge.
e. b.
The staff are very very polite and extremely helpful. It is so heart warming to come to go for a cocktail and feel as important as those who are having a bite to eat. Well done to the staff of granny Annie's in Belfast. Granny Annie keep these staff please. The decoration is well nice. I love the granny and granda loo. Very rustic!
N. C.
Was very good experience as usual. Live music over my lunch was very entertaining. Always look forward to granny Annies when I visit northern Ireland. Love the seafood chowder.
R. Q.
Nice bar with live music. Good food menu.
R. R.
Wee jj best cocktail about
r. r.
The first Granny Annie's I went to was in Derry/Londonderry, and I loved it! Once this one opened up in Belfast I was so happy! However, while the vibe and the manager are great, the staff are extremely slow on preparing food and beverages. I stood at the bar for almost an hour trying to get a cocktail...there were only three others at the bar. What I'm saying is, it doesn't take 15 minutes to shake a cocktail; new staff who are fast and efficient would make this place a knockout!
S. E.
First time visit here.. booked for dinner for 4 people and the place was buzzing! I thought we may have to wait a while for food but the food came in good time... two of us ordered fillet steaks which were cooked to perfection! Our Lady friends had sea bass and monkfish kebab, both dishes were sumptuous and a boneless beautiful fillet of fish. No surprise when I seen Michael formerly of frattellis at the helm and the brilliant staff and service filled suite.. can't wait to come back!! Sam
N. T.
Absolutely fantastic place food gorgeous staff absolutely fantastic so friendly and chatty all in all a really beautiful experience and will definitely return there to experience the warm and friendly experience again soon well done

Never disappoints.

Lovely pleasant atmosphere. Had a lovely night with my family. Food is delicious would recommend it.

The place is located near the Albert tower. It looked great and has nice retro ambiance to it. The menus were quite simple and they didn't let us order the Christmas menu, which can only be ordered through reservations. The waiters seemed …

Fun place to have a Sunday's breakfast
M. B.
Went for lunch. The service is fast & the staff are friendly and efficient. We had a variety of food, I had the Scampi and it was one of the best I've ever had! The decor is really quirky. 😍
K. C.
Great food, sound staff and nice pints. Perfect. Prices decent too
S. S.
Went on a Friday night for dinner. A bit to packed for my liking, would maybe have been better for a week night or Sunday. Music was good i have to say, if you don't mind the crowds could be good spot for a drink. Cocktails were nice, at £7 …
M. B.
Really nice lunch
K. (.
What an awesome place to to listen to music and hang with Friends! The 2 bands we listened to were wonderful! I recommend this place! The decor is the best! I love it!
B. “. T.
Good food and good service
P. I.
Very good food! Delicious side salads, excellent steaks. Service very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
V. P.
Lovely food and great service, especially want to thank Steve for friendly welcome .
E. L.
Food was lovely and workers were nice but the toilets were not really in clean conditions and 2/4 of them were out of order but I liked how they kept the theme of the restaurant throughout the please Luke instead of men’s it was grandpas
T. H.
One of my favourite places to eat and drink in Belfast. 5 star's every time. A cosy quirky friendly affordable place, I would highly recommend 👌👍
E. G.
Great customer service & food. We took kids with us & portions are well worth the money.
We will definitely be back again.
s. B.
Great food excellent service and great music. Will return
R. F.
Good place for a quick lunch. Food was good, as would be expected for a pub. Comfortable and not too busy when we were there. No queue and food arrived in a timely manner.
G. M.
Great meeting place .quirky inside.Really over priced drinks for what you get. no effort put in to the cocktails. just shaken and served with a straw no granish at all.But they did taste good.
C. G.
Had a lovely lunch in Granny Annies Belfast. Staff were lovely and so well mannered.
C. w.
Very quirky restaurant, great good only downside was it was a busy and it seemed there weren't enough staff as it took a little longer to order then get serviced than you would normally expect. But still would definitely recommend it if your not in a hurry.
C. O.
Hit and miss. Nice bar with good live music. Service can be a little slow and a bit overpriced for what it is. Ordered a burger recently which was missing a few ingredients and the bap was stale
D. D. L. C.
This a really great restaurant , Irinsh environment , great live music , great food.
J. M.
Lovely pleasant atmosphere. Had a lovely night with my family. Food is delicious would recommend it.
L. B.
Great atmosphere, drinks and food. Was very happy with our meal.
J. A.
Very quirky with upside down furniture on ceiling. And a good range of drinks.
S. R.
Awesome place, great atmosphere, good Beer, and fun details. Special mention for their toilets, I was with group of guys, and after they went to the restroom, I had to go too to the ladiesroom, just so I saw what was in there.
T.
Good service, great food and drink well worth the visit
S. A.
I went there for drinks..lovely atmosphere..amazing band..recommended
B. P.
Great food friendly staff table service was excellent 10 out of 10
A. C.
I only get 1 hour for lunch at work and must say I was surprised how quick the service was. Had chilli chicken with fries, very nice. Also had a band playing live music. Very nice atmosphere.
P. C.
Told we couldn't book a dinner reservation as it was first come first served. Arrived and was informed it was full and that you could book dinner reservations. Granted it was Christmas and probably loads of parties, but a concise answer when we phoned originally would have been helpful.
T. R.
Busy wee place and after dining here it's easy to understand why. Lovely food and excellent staff. Quirky place and we thoroughly enjoyed it
S. A.
Cracking place, great food, great beer, friendly staff. Had to wait about 45 mins for a table but would absolutely do it again. Great to have live musicians on in a place like this too.
K. (.
What an awesome place to to listen to music and hang with Friends! The 2 bands we listened to were wonderful! I recommend this place! The decor is the best! I love it!
D. B.
Atmosphere was great,
decor is funky/very interesting/entertaining,
Food was really good,
Live bands were good but too loud,
Music in the bar was way too loud,
Music in the restaurant was a bit too loud but not to bad,
Staff were not attentive and forgot our drinks and other requests a few times,
Staff were nice just not on the ball.
I will return, i enjoyed it, it just needs a few Elements improved before I would give it a 5 star.
D. H.
Cant rate this place enough. First time in Belfast and glad we went here for food. Food beyond perfect. Great atmosphere and staff made to feel very welcome.
J. R.
We had a large group for breakfast and Granny Annies was perfect for us. Everyone enjoyed their breakfasts, it was good value and ok service. I would say the menu was not particularly vegan friendly as one of our group needed, but they accommodated her well.
L. M.
Food was great, waiter serving us was very friendly. Guy on door very unhelpful. We had booked a table and arrived 10 minutes early. He told us to come back to him in 10 mins as our table wasn't ready.
D. D.
Good place to eat on a lunch break in Belfast, very quick service and reasonable in price, fully licensed so you can enjoy a drink with your meal, original decor makes it interesting as close to Victoria Square if you are doing a bit of shopping. Good spot would recommend
M. L.
Great atmosphere, Great service, would have preferred my food on a plate. Didn't like the wooden skillet or the cups for the chips. Didn't enjoy my meal. Was very busy didn't like to ask for a plate .
M. P.
Quirky gastropub.
Service spot on.
Food was very tasty and plenty of it.
Reason for not giving 5 stars was advertised music 7 nights a week only to be told that was not the case.
F. M.
Called in while visiting Belfast. I had a burger and chip which was very tasty. It was a little pricey but it wasn't an ordinary burger and chip. The service was good but it wasn't busy when I visited.
V. K.
Been to granny Annie's before, food and cocktails are amazing,. However we went on valentine's Day and it was wall to wall! Most staff seemed rushed, so we had to try and get their attention of we wanted drinks but they were always friendly and got our orders out as soon as they could.
B. W.
Really nice place to have a drink. Food should be better, does not do this place justice. Really rustic decor
L. B.
Brilliant place..... If u order your drink for the night all at once, As soon as u get served lol.... worst place in Belfast to get a drink...... Its at least 20 mins wait at front bar then they close back bar early especially if you don't know there's a bac bar so would recommend it..... But just buy all your drink at the one time
F. N. G. P.
Down to earth cooking at reasonable prices for centre of city. Atmosphere lovely n warm and staff very friendly even so early in morning. Food best I've tasted in years
w. w.
Took a smashing girl here on a first date, service was good atmosphere was great, it's a great place to go and have a meal and a chat then has the party side too, good fun. Think the date went well as I got a second 😉

Brilliant deal on Friday night's for girls night. Mail course, glass of bubbly and a cocktail for £15! Food was beautiful and great live music followed by a disco
m. h.
A must place to visit and have a meal
D. M.
It literally reminds me of my grannys and it is nicely made. The food is beautiful. Staff is kind and I highly recommend this restaurant.
C. J.
Nice decor. 2 for one cocktails great but not much alcohol in them at all I'm afraid. Still a good pre drinking place 😁
W. S.
Food , atmosphere and staff where all quality....
G. M.
If you are eating outside use the outside tables for a bit of peace and quiet. Roll on the end of lockdown for a good meal and a pint.
p. s.
Very cool place, I ate sea bass and onion rings and my friend got cod and chips, after that desserts and everything was delicious! Little more skills with the coffee but no big deal, the staff was very kind
E. M.
Had great meal & staff were brilliant. Didn't wait long to be seated. Great music & atmosphere 👍
M. H.
Good food and location, the staff are friendly and obliging, my only qualm would be the toilets, not up to scratch.
They have a grubby look to them and need modernization.
A. O.
Amazing, amazing, amazing! Foid, drinks and staff all perfect 🥰
K. C.
Great food, sound staff and nice pints. Perfect. Prices decent too
E. M.
Excellent service and high quality food
Big choice food for kids 😋
P. G.
Great food, great service from friendly staff. Good value.
Would recommend.
J. H.
Pleasant and realy helpfull staff.
N. O.
Amazing fish and chips, fish was enormous beautifully cooked and in the lightest batter, the chips on the other hand were pretty ordinary. Live music all evening, I can definitely live with the norn irn convention.
L.
Lovely place in terms of quirky and olde worlde. Great gluten free menu but food just OK. Service quite good and nice wine 🍷 🤓
Y. O.
Nice. Cocktails were excellent. Had the bramble and it was delicious.
J. B.
Great atmosphere. Live music. Always a good crowd there. Get in early to get a seat inside. Nice tables outside to sit with overhead heaters.
J. H.
Good fun place. We enjoyed a nice e meal as a group and I got to watch the football. Certainly worth checking out if in Belfast.
