Afternoon out having cocktails and noticed the tapas deal - fantastic value for money and food was incredible! The staff were so friendly and cocktails were great. For a quiet Monday afternoon there was a nice atmosphere with just enough background music to allow good conversation and privacy. Will definitely be back!

Nice spot and very easily accessed by Glider with stops outside. Staff were excellent and attentive. The lunch options are limited which normally means more attention given to dishes they are good at but in our case 2 of the limited dishes were not available despite us being early and very few dinners already there.Unfortunately the fish n chips were far from being my best…in fact the batter was heavy and greasy but it may have been a bad day.

Horatio Todd's provides nice food for lunch and is a good restaurant to take children to as well. They provide a good meal and comfortable seating. There is also the bar where you can order an alcohol drink and sit back with your friends or strangers and watch sport on the TVs. Overall it is a nice restaurant to sit in for a drink, a meal or an alcoholic beverage.

It's a good local for me, go for drinks there fairly regularly. Some nice cocktails, food is also good and they have gluten free options last time I ate there. We had heard a lot about Horatio Todds and were interested to visit. However, we were disappointed. After looking at other reviews it seems, and I hope, we were an exception. Steak and Frites, the steak was cold, rubbery and had no taste. The only seasoning was a huge dollop of cafe de Paris butter, which tasted like common butter spread with garlic and onion. Served in a side pot could have helped as adding cold butter to a cold steak... doesn't help. The chips were good. Beef bourguignon, had more mushrooms than meat and tasted more like mushrooms in gravy with some shreds of beef. The service on the other hand was good and the waiter was engaging and pleasant. The cocktails were ok too. It was OK... but sadly a poor first impression.

Eat at Horatio's fairly regular and the food is consistently very good and worth the money. Service is good and the Staff work hard! The only downside is the Guinness is awful and I tried it on a number of occasions. All the other beers are fine!

Was great to get back to Todd's. The only downside was waiting an hour to get the table. The table was honestly the best, great patio heater, awning and comfortable. The beers and gin were perfect, and the price was just right. Staff attentive and service great.

Visited Todd's on the 10th July and had a great evening! The food was delicious, I tried the new tapas menu and thoroughly enjoyed it and the cocktails were fabulous too. The service was excellent with young but eager and attentive waiting staff - the only time I had to look for someone was when it came time to pay the bill. We were very conscious that they may need the table freed up to allow more people in after food had stopped being served but they absolutely did not make us feel like that but rather encouraged us to stay on and offered to move us to a quiet area of the bar if the nearby table of young fellas were too noisy - we hadn't even noticed them, think we were just enjoying hearing 'normal' bar sounds again! The tables were well spaced and all staff in PPE. There was a screen between our table and the next which both made me feel safer but had the added benefit of making the dining experience feel more private and I really appreciated not having people standing drinking near the table, waiting for you to leave so they could nab it. It all led to a relaxed and very enjoyable evening out but can't help but it really can't be good for profits and I'd worry for the business that way. A great night out with a friend and the set up was such that when I heard a couple of days later that one of their staff had tested Covid positive, I didn't worry as I knew none had been in close contact. Well done Todd's- hope things improve soon so you can start to recover some of your profits!

Really great food and staff totally excellent. Some of the nicest staff ever experienced in a restaurant. Moved us to a better table and even let us order items off menu. LOVE this place! There is always a big crowd so it's not really a place for a quiet romantic meal but that's why I like it! Tapas menu is brilliant and changes with the seasons with really generous servings. Main menu also changes with the seasons. They so have a fantastic drinks menu with lots of cocktail options and a great outside bar area.

We'd mostly pre-ordered which possibly helped, but service was great (a couple of orders needed prompting but not unreasonable given number of plates served). Food was reasonable, as was the drinks selection which was extensive though pricey. Overall a positive experience! Would like to return for a quiet lunch sometime.

Bottomless brunch, a must! We arrived at 12 on the dot! The place was empty at first but filled very fast, so a reservation would probably be best. The food is very very good and the drinks helped everything along nicely, although I did receive a glass of prosecco that was completely flat. It's open. The best thing is that it has a beer garden, and the staff are hard at work. Polite and attentive. Great work guys. The only complaint is that you need a few umbrellas and a patio heater or two. It's Belfast folks. Even in July it can be Baltic then sun five minutes later. So glad to be back, and even with the beer bug it's where we wanted to go.

Well now, took Mum out for lunch. Haven’t been here in a while. Picked a booth next to the bar. Staff attentive and came for drinks order and to leave menus. Something you don’t see everyday was the crispy fried chicken with sweet waffles and maple syrup. Comes with a side of coleslaw and hot sauce. Don’t ask me how but it works and boy does it work. First piece of chicken very dry but the second piece was delicious. Added a side of garlic chips with Parmesan cheese. All in all 4 out of 5. Price not too bad for lunch. Plenty of lunch eateries round here all touting for your business. Inventive lunch menu at Horatio Todd’s will see me back.

Service and food were both below average. No drinks order taken, no kids menu given, specials not communicated, kids dishes weren't taken and their ice-cream was forgotten about. We had to constantly remind the server. Food was average, my burger was very bitter - from the cheese? Needs balanced with a sweet sauce. My wife's '8hr slow cooked' roast beef was tough. I don't understand how slow cooked beef can be tough. Wasn't a good experience. Visit was Saturday 24th March at 6pm.

I like this place. There's a great vib about it. There's a good mix of ages too. The food is excellent too and there are deals during the week. There is parking at the rear. Make sure you book if you are dining because its really busy at the weekend including Fridays. The staff are great too.

Every time I come here it's never warm especially the toilets which are so cold u don't want to use them. Four of us visited this venue on a Friday evening and the restaurant part of the bar was quite busy. I found the service in the restaurant to be excellent. Food was of a good quality but my 10 oz steak was a bit 'stringy' and chewy. The house wine at £18.95 a bottle was also a little expensive for such a venue. All in all a pleasant dining experience but is a little pricey for what it is.

We picked Horatio's as it was the nearest place to our <insert name of short holiday let provider> where we could wait for check-in. As it was the beautifully sunny May holiday weekend, we could sit outside and make the most of the outdoor seating in the sun trap. We had originally been looking for somewhere that served "pub grub" so we were a little disappointed to find that Horatio's serves a more "upper class" menu than burger and chips. The food, however, was very nicely served and tasty although I felt the price was more suitable for a city centre pub. The bar has a good selection of beers (local and Scottish craft beers, as well as more mainstream favourites) and I was very impressed with how the bar staffed handled my complaint of a beer being off (many bars will swear blind that beers aren't off when they clearly are; the staff here took one taste and then offered me an instant replacement). A walk past around 11pm showed the pub to be in full Friday night swing so it looks like not only is it great for lunch and quiet drinks in the sun, but also for the party crowd

I had my reservations about drinking here after I got sporadic and then no reply to my Facebook enquiry about reserving a table but when we arrived our experience couldn't have been more positive. We regularly visit family members in Ballyhackamore and have dinner in Horatios. Their Early Bird menu is reasonably priced and they have a very varied menu to suit all tastes. Staff members are friendly and we're very responsive to my requests regarding my allergy to both shellfish and sesame. The bar is lively.

As a bar it's not bad, but I've stopped going at the weekend because it's understaffed. The problem is that the bar staff spend an age making fancy cocktails for the up-themselves Bellyheckamore types so you can easily find yourself standing for over 20 minutes waiting for a bottle of beer from the fridge. It's not worth it.

We visited earlier this evening, had no reservation, no problem getting a table, which we appreciated. I ordered chicken supreme, bit of confusion as there was two chicken supremes on the menu ! Eva went above and beyond in rectifying the issue. This manager is a credit to the place, turned a minor disappointment into a pleasure. I only wish every restaurant had an Eva. Just want to say the food was delicious and also that the original waitress Caroline wasn't at fault, the fault lay with the cicken supreme x 2 on the menu. Horatio Todds rocks, thank you.
