Happy with the food, it could be perfect with fresh bier from the tap, but the cans are not bad at all. Totally Recommended

Unbelievable food! So good I forgot to take pictures but the scallops and the pork belly were to die for. Amazing vibe in this place. Faultless service. Oh and great drinks of course. Go here!!
R. T.
Food is nice but the portions are terrible. I order a steak with millionaire fries 24 quid. Literally 5 fries. My friend who order a side portion for a fiver got 7. You shouldn't order a main at a restaurant and leave still hungry.
M. R.
Really friendly and laid back. Good food and big portions.

This place is amazing!! I was very hasty at first when looking at some reviews but am so glad we came!! A table of 10 and the service was quick and staff very pleasant!! Meals are a very decent size!!
We will be back for sure!! 😊

We had a short stop in Belfast and scrambled to find a place that was unique to the area to eat. We were thrilled to happen upon this spot.
The menu was extensive and there were many interesting options. We settled on an Irish cheeseburger, goat cheese platter and beef fat fries. Not a single item was a disappointment.
The ambience was very chill and the music relaxing. The waitstaff was also very pleasant.
It wasn’t fast food, so if you’re in a hurry then this may not be the spot for you. And it’s a little walk away from city center. But those things aside, highly recommended.

Meal for 5people on Sat 19th March @6pm, welcomed through the door. Staff were amazing very welcoming & friendly. I felt like they already knew us!💜
I had Steak, Millionaire fries & Veg OMG cooked to perfection Appaulse to the Chef Darrell 👌Excellent customer service!
Highly reccomend Made in Belfast!

Well what can I say except amazing food, atmosphere and service. We were a table of 8 on a busy Friday night and the service was exceptional. The food was fantastic. A great choice and great produce which is sourced locally as best they can. Everyone of our meals was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My rump steak was one of the best I have ever had.
The cocktails were top notch too. From start to finish a very enjoyable night out. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I ate at Made in Belfast a couple months ago, and the chowder fries were one of the better meals I’ve had in my life.

Delicious! Incredible portion sizes. Great surprise! I had the curried parsnip soup (forgot to take a pic) and it was incredible and flavorful. My husband got the chicken wings for the first course (we both ordered the 2 course meal). Huge delicious wings! I had the fish and chips for my main meal and it was SO much food. Good ratio of meat to breading and the breading and fish were both delicious! My husband got a beef dish (looked like a pot pie, I was too busy eating to take pics of his too haha). Definitely recommend!

Food came in big portions but the service here is quite lacking. I probably came here with too high expectations, the food looked very good however they did lack a bit in flavor. I do love the interior of the restaurant though, it's very cute. They have a 2 course and 3 course option for you to choose from or a la carte.
R. H.
Excellent food in a casual and friendly environment!
Went here with a friend and we both really enjoyed our food, also if you like ginger beer theirs is probably the best I have ever had in my life!
Would definitely recommend

It’s a quirky gastro pub style restaurant in a very nice area of bars and restaurants in Belfast. This was highly recommended to me by a local and although tourists were eating there, you could tell that it was a local draw for hipsters and foodies. The cocktails which we did not order looked good, each heavily garnished and in drink specific garish glasses.
All the chairs were radically different and the decor was eclectic, including a large brightly colored full scale statue of a ostrich.
The menu had great looking lunch items, meals, and cocktails, wine, and beer. I had the sourdough bread, steak sandwich with a millennial pleasing smashed avocado and chimichurri sauce, paired with a half pint of a draft local IPA and chips fried in beef fat.
The sandwich was very good with only a small bit of gristle that I normally expect with this type of cheaper cut. The steak was quite thick and even well-done was tender. The very heavily toasted sourdough bread was fantastic.
The chips were very good with no beef flavor or greasiness.
The service was quick by European standards. The cost of the meal was 14 pounds which I found to be a great value. The waiter could not provide a split bill receipt but could charge multiple credit cards in any amounts desired. (We informed him in advance of ordering and we were informed before we ordered that they could not split the itemized receipt.) Although this worked out okay for us, business travelers might need individual split itemized receipts. It’s becoming more common for restaurants to have this ability with modern point of sake systems.

Great restaurant and staff. We ordered online a collected our lovely meal on Sunday. Front of house gent was brilliant and helpful. Food AMAZE and good size portions. Contactless food collection was spot on.

We visited this restaurant for lunch during our Belfast sight tour. We both chose a dish from the lunch menu, the prices were very okay for the central location. I had salmon fish cakes with poched eggs, salad and an extra portion of veggies. Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all. Both the fish cakes and the eggs had an indefinable taste and also the salad dressing was tasting weird. Only the veggies were fine and fresh but I was disappointed by the food. However, the staff was very polite.
J. B.
Large group of us, all very well taken care of. Terrific food. An hour after our meal we are still talking about how great the meal was! Great service! Friendly staff! Raspberry Chocolate dessert was INCREDIBLE!
R. H.
Great place to eat with a range of tasty localy sourced food, it can do a number of dishes gluten free if needed. Deserts and drinks are also great and local in one of the more qwerkie and populer places to dine in belfast. It's well worth a visit and is regurley full so worth booking.

Made In Belfast
Made In Belfast has always been one of our favourite Cathedral Quarter spots with its relaxed vibe, quirky shabby chic interior, and bistro-style menu championing local, sustainable produce, so we were looking forward to a long overdue visit to try some of the new dishes.
The Rum & Elderflower cocktail special was delightfully tropical with fruity hints of pineapple and lime.
To start, we were intrigued by the Vegan Tofu Scallops with Kimchi & Pickled Cucumber, and we weren’t disappointed; an excellent plant-based option packed with flavour and chilli heat.
Our main courses included a smoky, perfectly flaky Poached Cod with fondant potatoes and crispy egg, and a Curried Cauliflower Steak with raisins and the most amazing “dirty rice” we’d ever eaten.
Sadly, we had to rush off, but we weren’t allowed to leave without a couple of takeaway desserts; a citrussy Pineapple, Lime Coconut and Feta cheesecake, and sweet Yorkshire Pudding Profiteroles with horseradish, hazelnuts and salted caramel!
Many thanks to Emma for the invitation to try out the terrific new menu, and to Tom and Lucy for the warm welcome on such a stormy evening.

What a fantastic place this is for food and a drink.
Locally sourced food in accordance to season is a great idea.. Additionally the kitchen team are fantastic at producing tasty food.
Hands down the best food I've had in a long time.. The menu is great.. Good old traditional food. The drink selection is also good however I stick to the IPA.
service was great and the staff are friendly. Great location in Victoria Square.
Decent value for the great quality.
1 Soup, 3starters, 3 drinks, 1 main came in at about £40 well worth the money. We had to carry food home with us!!
Nice theme/decoration + good music = great ambience. 5 stars
m. l.
Wow the food here is amazing. The meat is just perfect. The service and ambience is brilliant. Love the big ostrich inside the door. Thanks guys for a sleep inducing fabulous meal. Top marks. 👍
L. B.
Excellent food, wonderful coffee and such a fun and bright atmosphere! The staff here treated me like I was a local and were very polite. I can't wait to come back on my next trip.
K. N.
Express Lunch Menu - Chicken, Bred Bacon & Mushroom Fettuccine. 🍝With my dessert - Apple crumble & Vanilla Ice cream.🍨
Lovely staff and restaurant!
D. R.
Pricey for Belfast and but some of the nicest food I've ever eaten. Would highly recommend.
Great food, great service, good choices.
Can get a bit noisy and chilly, but a nice relaxed informal atmosphere. We'll worth a visit.
H. H.
One of my favorite places to go when we're in Belfast. The food is great, and the staff friendly and helpful. They are really committed to serving local and fresh. Be prepared to wait, though - this is food done well, not food done fast.
J. M.
Great food & staff! Love that they cater so well for gluten free
S. K.
Made in Belfast was a great restaurant and is often busy. We enjoyed our meal but for the price I don’t know if it was 5 star worthy. Staff were great, cocktails are unique and fun but no special quality to make the whole experience outstanding.
Worth a try!
P. B.
Excellent restaurant with good food and friendly service. Atmospheric and a bit quirky, they used to serve the wine in tumblers but now you get a nice wine glass.
Good vibrant crowd and is always busy with locals and tourists. The background music could be turned down a bit as the walls are tiled and the sound was bouncing back off them.
I had excellent cod which was on special and a goats cheese starter. Service was excellent, efficient and friendly.
Not the cheapest but value for money.
K. P.
Great food, service and vibe. You might want to take a cab to get there if you're staying at the city centre
N. G.
Service was very good. Relaxed and welcoming ambience but a very expensive bowl of pasta.
T. S.
Loved it.. Jenny our server was bubbly, fun and enthusiastic my wife and I had cocktails which were delicious especially the oranges and lemons.. Our starters of scallops and goats cheese parfait were lovely and the sea bass and pork belly were magnificent credit to everyone working we truly enjoyed the dining experience thank you all
E. B.
Been here twice, food was great both times! However service is a bit strange, was left sitting quite a lot after meals, waiting for the bill etc felt like all the staff were looking at us then walking on. Food is great tho 👍🏼
J. C.
Food was great. Service a bit slow. Would recommend. I went with the Irish rump and onion rings, but if I had to do over would have went with the duo of Irish lamb (see plate beyond my plate).
M. A.
The food was very delicated and tasty. The restaurant itself is well decorated and very cozy. Highly recommended
J. H.
The lunch menu was really worth it. Tried the crab club and local prawn, spinach risotto. It was splendid. A very filling meal. Enjoyed the rich aromatic flavours of the dish. Do visit if you're coming by to Belfast.
N. I.
I'm so nicely impressed! Great place, food, service. Recommended for each visit. Don't miss the dessert!
A. T.
Very cool and trendy restaurant with a hipster vibe. Food was great, I had chicken supreme in a cep and bacon cream sauce and it was amazing. Washed it down with a craft lager - very nice ! Staff were friendly and helpful without being over bearing. Couldn't find fault with the place.
D. J.
Always a nice meal, solid lunchtime menu!
S. K.
Brilliant food, great starters, good service, quirky interiors.
Fully recommended place :)
P. K.
Great food and service but decently pricey. Trenday atmosphere and decent portion size almost justifies the the price. I had the wild mushroom risotto and it tasted fantastic!
S. C.
Really enjoyable and delicious dinner and dessert! Locally sourced and sustainable menu, with plenty of options. Attentive staff. Heartily recommend.
R. S.
Pleasant cafe with fresh focus. Menu is seasonal and varied. Irish beef dishes are particularly nice. Service was pleasant and unobtrusive. A couple of local draught beers on tap as well. Location is very close to the Ramada Encore Belfast
D. R.
Very impressed with this funky little place. Loved everything about it, starting from food to its décor. Had their mussels which were absolutely amazing. Their staff was lovely
D. I.
Beautiful atmosphere fab food good prices all round well worth a visit🥰
B. S.
Quirky place. A mish mash of chairs, lights and wall tiles! But the food is solid and the service backs it up. If you go for lunch you will not enjoy the view though. It’s not an oil painting.
C. M.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Super friendly and welcoming staff. I loved it!
V. K.
Very cool place! Especially the food is just incredibly good, maybe because it's "local" etc. We enjoyed it a lot!
P. S.
Really neat place in Bellfast! Priced well, cool atmosphere and fun staff. They were willing to accommodate our birthday party.
A. A.
Great food, great service, lovely decor and vibe. And very reasonable price too.
Second time here, would definitely come again. Thanks for looking after us all so well.
N. C.
Just ok....understaffed. Food couldve been better for those prices.
K. D.
Food is good (medium-sized servings). Bit crowded when I last visited. You need to book for a table just in case you're in groups.
L. B.
Lovely food, v tasty lunch
Great staff
J. C.
Great food. Service is a bit slow, but worth the wait. Go for the duo beef (plate in back of photo).
J. G.
Great meal and service. Food was flavorful and presented well with fun and new recipes with a traditional twist.
N. H.
Food beautiful and our waiter was good fun
張.
It’s so amazing fish and chips. And everything my friends order is good and fit every mouth tho! But waiting time is so long.
C. G.
Ate in here when restrictions had lifted. Best meal we had in a very long time. Scallops were amazing! Staff were lovely.
P. G.
Lovely and warm on a freezing evening. Warm in temperature and warm in welcome. Service friendly and attentive. Had the tearing bread and melted cheese starter which was delicious followed by flat iron steak which was a huge portion as was the risotto my wife had. We both had a cocktail and they too were very good.
J. M.
Great service from Brian, excellent food, cocktails to die for... I will be back here very soon.
M. M.
Loved the food, try the tear and share starter it's delicious. The burger was very tasty and with a generous portion of chunky chips. All washed down with a nice bottle of red (as Oliver Hardy put it; mmm mmm mmm!) It's a great place to stop of for a late lunch. Staff are very personable and know their wines. Would love to go in the evening, when the atmosphere is more lively.
A. T.
My favourite restaurant in Belfast, great food and service.
R. M.
I love this place! The perfect place for tourists to dine and also fantastic for locals too! I've had a few dishes out if here, the hake, the steak, also had the dairy free ice cream which tasted amazing. Here is generally quite good for gluten-free and dairy free as servers are understandable about everything well.
C. B.
Great decor, good atmosphere and they actually are taking Covid seriously unlike the majority of Belfast restaurants. However they really need to improve their vegetarian choices and cooking methods. A bit overpriced for what you get, but my friend was very happy with the steak.
C. H.
Excellent food, prompt service - very impressed.
A. L.
Cozy place, very friendly people working here and great service. Food was delicious!
C. E.
Tasty food and drinks, can get pretty busy and is Def the better of the 2 in Belfast
D. R.
Delicious food and polite service. I arrived a few minutes early for my reservation but was shown to my seat anyway. There was a nice atmosphere. The steak and Guinness pie I ordered was very nice and not too heavy. I still had room for a dessert. The staff were attentive without being annoying.
V.
We had a team building for about 20 people. Had to order in advance. Food was superb. Beer only two kinds and not so good, however those who went for wines made a good choice. Wine selection was great.
P. R.
Good food. Friendly staff. Local produce cooked well. Theatre menu is good value. Quirky interior. Choice of beer knocks a star off. Kids menu is unbelievable value. Good for large or small groups. Burgers and steaks are great. Kids steak is massive.
I. D.
late evening booking and still well served with good food. Our party had the mussels to start and a range of mains, including burger, duck (nice and pink as suggested) and steak. All were well seasoned and served in good time.
T.
Just popped into Made in Belfast on Talbot Street for lunch and it was delicious. I had the Irish steak sandwich with skinny fries and pepper sauce. Meat was cooked to perfection. The lunch was 25% off which made it even better. I have only been in a few times before but the staff are always so courteous. Got in, got fed and was out again in time to return to work. I'll be back ! :)
F. t. H.
I went to this restaurant whereas I was a bit in a hurry, and I was satisfied. The waiter knew I had only fifty minutes to eat and arranged for me to be served very quickly. I ordered one of their lunch sandwiches with a side of fries, and was not disappointed at all. Everything was tasty, especially the roasted beef meat and the mayonnaise which was obviously home made. However, I feel like the portions could have been a little bit larger.
Very good experience overall, and great decoration for who like industrial-inspired atmosphere.
B. K.
Very good meal, local beer.
O. R.
Great food and drinks. Loved vegan cauliflower curry
A. H.
Hats not to like? Friendly professional staff, reasonably priced menu, consistently gorgeous food and good cocktails. Have visited during COVID and lovely visit with good cleanliness and social distancing. Very welcoming. Recommend.
B. C.
Everything we ate was really really good. Highlights were the spare rib starter, the cauliflower Curry dish, the mushroom risotto, and the flank steak. Toffey pudding dessert with salted caramel I've cream was seriously out of this world. Service very friendly, a bit slow but the place was absolutely packed so quite understandable. Highly recommend a visit, and probably best to book ahead!
S. O. F.
Good food, menu, service and value for money.
Thoroughly enjoyed by group of 3
Z. L.
Love this place, have been here a couple of times already and the quality of the food is very good.
Staff are very nice as well, great local selection of dishes and the British dish of course.
Huge desserts portions compared to other restaurants around here.
Definitely recommend to come and eat here at Made In Belfast and particularly in this branch as I've had bad experience in other branches they have.
N. K.
I loved the cool interior and lovely designed menu. The food was really good and is locally sourced. That's why the slightly higher prices (for Belfast) are absolutely acceptable. They have a couple of smaller table, but also rows of long tables to share with other guests. I found that quite nice!
G. H.
Always loved this place but think its gone downhill. My fish was absolutely charred and full of grease and the chips were lukewarm at best. Usually fab but my last few experiences here have been a real let down
R. C.
Comfy, quirky cafe with locally sourced ingredients. Great lunch menu (range of dishes priced between £7-£8.50); we all had the steak sandwich and agreed it was one of the best we’d ever tried! You can also add fries for £1.50 (when ordering from the lunch menu) which is great value. Definitely recommended!
A. M.
Quirky place, fun staff who clearly enjoy working there. Very much appreciated that staff let my dining partner and I stay on after service had ended to continue our chat.
Well-priced for two courses and coffee. Great selection of dishes. Portions on the large side so be prepared to be full by the end of your meal.
c. p.
Lovely place. Nice decor, staff were friendly and nice, and the food was amazing. The venison and chocolate hotpot was amazing. There's a good mix of beers, soft drinks or lovely looking cocktails. Definitely go here!
M. W.
Flat iron steak cooked to perfection, really nice
U. M.
Just after a lovely dining experience here. Food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. Felt very safe with plenty of space between tables and the staff all with masks on them .
J. A.
Friendly staff quirky decor excellent food

Great variety of fine cuisine.

We were really impressed with this place. The food is beautiful and really fresh. Feels like it was made with love. The staff are friendly and the service was really good. Relaxed atmosphere. Massive two thumbs up.

One of the best restaurants in Belfast. The menu was simple yet the taste was great. Food is great, service is good and the place is nice with all the hand drawn art on the walls. would definitely recommend to everyone
J. J.
Very relaxing ambiance, with truly superb food, great drinks. Staff really friendly and very chatty. When back in Belfast after Covid, we will make a point of eating here.
B. H.
Most reviews seem, on the whole, to be very positive and I would endorse that balance by saying give the outlet a try for yourself - we enjoyed our meals and the staff (28 Oct '19) were brilliant with good senses of humour. One comment: a better selection of draft beers might be an idea....
y. b. l.
Best lamb dinner I had in a very long time.
Absolutely fantastic,
Came with a group of 13 and all cleared the plates. A bit noisy for people with hearing aids, but otherwise first class all the way.
T. F.
Food was good enough - some better than others. Puff pastry had risen on veggie pie but not on venison pie, burger a little over. Staff were nice but drinks service was slow. Worst we were sat in front of the door which had nothing to protect the restaurant from the elements - curtain/second door. Even the small overdoor heater we were informed didn't work.
M.
The service from staff was brilliant. They brought some crayons over for my 4 year old daughter. My wife is a coeliac and they catered for her brilliantly. The food was delicious. Portions are large. You will have my business again.
S. K.
Food is average, I've had much better steak elsewhere. On the plus side there's nice cocktails, atmosphere and great staff.
L.
Came with a group of 6 girls after a recommendation from a friend. The menu was varied and the food was delicious across the board. Great cocktails and attentive staff. We were just disappointed that we couldn't squeeze in a pudding.
V. O.
The coffee is good and also the food. I ate the big breakfast and it was really nice. I asked for an exchange between eggs and an extra piece of potatoes bread and there were no problems. The inside is really nice, especially the tables which are all different.
L. D.
Food was beautiful and cooked to perfection

Amazing food and restaurant, I loved it
T. J.
Fantastic food, best meal I've had in a long time. Went with my girlfriend and we both loved it. The cocktails are out of this world as well. Staff is also fantastic, we will be back
M. M.
Extremely delicious food in an extraordinary location
D. B.
Great service, great food. What I ordered initially was over cooked/burnt. The waiter was happy to replace with a perfectly cooked plate of food. Well priced and well recommended. 👍🏼
P. H.
Great night! Staff were friendly, would recommend the steak & Guieness pie (fantastic); good selection of desserts to accompany the meal. We were a group of four who used the pre-theatre menu; managed to get the venue afterwards without hassle. Had a great evening and it started here!
A. P.
I visited Made in Belfast on Friday night with my partner. We booked quite early so we had the choice of either the "Show Time" menu or the A La Carte menu.
When we arrived we were quickly seated and provided with both food and drinks menus. There was a good selection of drinks including wine, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks. I would definitely like to return in the future to try some of the cocktails!
We both ordered from the show time menu as it was £15 for two courses which was good value for money. I ordered the whipped goats cheese for a starter and my partner ordered the chicken wings. The goats cheese was delicious and was such an interesting mix of flavours with the cherries. The fruit and nut crackers that came with it were quite tough so i found it easier to crumble them in with the goats cheese as opposed to biting them.
My partner enjoyed the chicken wings although as would be expected, they can get quite messy.
For the main I ordered the battered haddock and chips and my partner ordered the burger. The haddock was very nice with a lovely light crispy batter. It was supposedly gin and tonic batter but I couldn't taste that at all. The chips were really tasty and the curry sauce was a nice addition.
My partner enjoyed the beef burger but felt that it was a bit dry. Definitely improved by a bit of my curry sauce.
Overall the restaurant was enjoyable. The decor is so interesting and quirky and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty and definitely good value for money with the show time menu.

Amazing menu, flavours, atmosphere and above all service
S. H.
Best lunch I've had in a long time!! Every course was so delicious and well made. Amazing starter of goat's cheese and cranberry (some great combinations), delicious salmon and potato and a melt in the mouth cheesecake with honeycomb ice cream. All at SUCH a great price!! Veggie option for my husband was super tasty too. All locally sourced. Great atmosphere and lovely, hospitable service. Will go every time I go to Belfast!!
T. C.
I went here with my family and the standard of food was exceptional. The service was fantastic and they treated my 6 year old with great respect interacting directly with him and including him in queries etc....absolutely delighted, would highly recommend.
K. B.
I've been to both sides of this establishment, a few times. As a Texan, I had given up on having a steak cooked properly in northern Ireland, but when I saw statements in the menu not giving options, but telling people how the steak was going to be served... Pink, medium-rare... I decided to give it a chance.
Turns out it's probably the best place in the country. As an aside, because I'm also an Austinite, which means I appreciate a funky-vibe, and this place has it.
Most everything they serve is excellent. I have seen some burgers and steaks slightly overcooked, on occasion, but I don't make them perfect every time either.
D. S.
Good food and a wonderful atmosphere .
L. T.
Crab, fennel and prawns starter was delicious but the fish pie was just absolutely spot on. Great atmosphere and great cocktail too. Only small downside was the slightly small portion of the pie for the price... real shame coz otherwise it would have been a 5 star.
K. P.
Amazing service, beautiful meal and lovely staff- very accomodating. The menu was varied and big, filling portions. Facilities were clean and modern. Loved the mismatched furniture theme.
R. A. R.
Lovely pork belly roast dinner with all the trimmings and a really big portion. Yummy and lively decoration and service. It was a little slow in getting to us, but it was busy.
I would love to come back again!
D. B.
My wife and I went for the set menu here, two courses each. The goat's cheese starter was exceptional and that made us really look forward to the main course. Risotto was tasty and came with a lump of focaccia (good bread but carbs on carbs was unnecessary!) but the winner was the steak. Little French fried onions, a delicious peppered sauce, some leaves with dressing and beef-fried chips. Every bite was amazing and even my wife, who doesn't really like steak, was envious! The dessert of sticky toffee pudding was excellent too but, really, we were talking about the steak while eating it.
The tiny subsidy on the set menu was worth it for the steak!
With good service, interesting decor that keeps the eyes busy and plenty of cocktails to choose from, we'll be back. Next time we'll book though, as we were lucky to nab a table.
J. M.
Fabulous menu and very reasonably priced. Lovely quirky atmosphere and staff were so attentive and helpful. One member of staff even offered to take a picture of the group as we were struggling to fit everyone in. Friendly , good food , excellent service, affordable price 😊
J. H.
Really great food, fabulous surroundings, but sadly, very poor service. When we pointed out that we had been waiting 40 minutes to have our mains cleared and to order more drinks and a pudding, the response was "Oh we had a big table in". Fine. Clearly we wern't important enough, not spending enough money. Not a top notch response, I'm afraid.
d.
Went for a Christmas dinner, everyone around me who had stuff like turkey/chicken/venison etc. had massive portions. I ordered the hake and the portion wouldn't have filled a hummingbird. Chef who sent it out should hang their head in shame. Everything tasted fine though.
T. H.
Had a brilliant meal here - food was superb and so was the service. Also priced correctly. I left my bank card by mistake and the restaurant were good enough to text/email the same evening. Thankfully it's in such a good location I was able to pick up despite moving on to a couple of different places
L. M.
Absolutely excellent, service, food, atmosphere. During these difficult times Made in Belfast know what they are doing. Thank you for a wonderful meal and evening
A. M.
Loved the food and the atmosphere. Nice big portions - no fear of leaving this restaurant hungry. Highly recommended.
M. M. C.
Great resturant with incredible food! The staff are great and really friendly and informinative. Have been her 3 or 4 times and have never been dissapointed. Not the cheapest place in town but it is definitely worth it. Overall a fantastic resturant with amazing food and brilliant atmosphere. 5 stars!!
M. C.
Went with a party of 6. We picked the pre theatre menue and were not disappointed. Excellent starters and a very good main course choice. All the food was delicious and excellent service. Lovely atmosphere and nice open airy restaurant. Would recommend.
M. C.
Took a little long for desserts to arrive, probably cause it was really busy. But food was delicious, sticky toffee pudding amazing! Will come back again and bring everyone who visits there.
S. C.
Great atmosphere. Enjoyed
D. W.
Friendly and attentive service, decent food though not exactly cheap, quirky interior - I liked the hand-painted tile murals but not so much the assorted, worse-for-wear chairs - an attempt at shabby chic I guess, but mine was both too low for the table and very uncomfortable.
I also found the volume of the music too loud for dinner conversation, especially as the tables are extremely wide - but that might be my personal preference - I noticed a lot of eateries in Belfast had loud music (this was Thu night not weekend), louder than I'm used to from around Manchester.
The cream of pea & leek soup and the bread that came with was lovely & the vegan curry quite nice though I found the cauliflower undercooked. Also, the home-made Nan bread that came with it was rubbery like it had been microwaved and not a patch on a good freshly made Nan from an Asian run restaurant.
So overall, a mixed experience but one many people would and seemed to enjoy.
G. W.
Best taxi driver advice we ever had. 4 of us visiting Belfast had a delicious meal in a good atmosphere, couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back.
J. M.
Food and service is excellent, a menu to please everyone with lots of good choices. They also do a good 'early bird' menu. Love the décor.
A. G.
Quirky restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff. Party of 7 and we all really enjoyed our starters mains and dessert. Biggest chicken wings ive ever seen. And the long island tea are delish
T. T.
Quirky hipster place recommendation given to us via a tour guide at the Titanic Experience. Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Service was excellent too.

OMG the food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere....everything was FAB

Happy accident to find this gem. Lovely young man seated us without a reservation. Don't take that chance! Fabulously inventive local healthy food. The whipped goat's cheese sprinkled with caramelized walnuts alongside black cherry coulee turned my skeptical (French) companion (the pink ostrich in fairy lights?) into a believer. They had me at 'hello'.
A. N.
What an amazing meal. The hazelnut encrusted cod with fried gnocchi was so delicious. Highly recommend MIB.
A. E.
Absolutely beautiful food served by friendly, professional staff. Good menu choices and selection of wines. Well worth it.
N. E.
Good food, friendly service, great atmosphere that doesn't feel forced or phoney and on top of all that, locally sourced produce. Will be going back there again tomorrow

We made the booking for 10 people and was told that we could only stay 2 hours. When we were there the place wasn't even nearly full. The food was ok chips not cooked enough and in tin cups...Out of 3 steaks one was like a bit gristle. I should have sent it back...Then we get the bill and a 30 pound tip is added. How is this a tip if you add it yourself misleading i think. Members of the table said it is because of a large number of people. I call BS because if I ordered 2 smaller tables i would not be charged. A bit pretentious and presumptuous we should decide if you deserve a tip or not. Not you...

Excellent quirky venue, great values and fabulous food, recommended to us by locals and definitely worth a visit. We visited the one by the Abbey and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, will go again and highly recommend
S. K.
Modern place with young staff. The chefs really know how to surprise their guests! I was impressed. Definitely go again on my next visit to Belfast
S. S.
Food was good. Service was a little below average. For some strange reason they bunched their few customers very close together in an otherwise empty restaurant...it was a little awkward.

Great for those of us that are coeliacs, highly recommended
