C. D.Myself and son stopped at Town Square bar for bit of food and it didn't disappoint. Bar food menu was simple clean and all sounded very appealing. Staff was very courteous abd very helpful. The food came quickly and the food was very well presented and tasted great. Both our plates was empty. We def be back.
R. A.Good food and friendly staff but they were having an off day. We ordered 4 breakfast but 5 turned up, and we were charged for 5. Then our pregnant friend asked for scrambled eggs instead of poached but they couldnt do it. Never heard of a breakfast place not able to do scrambled eggs. She asked if that can be swapped for bacon, they said yes but then charged us £2 extra. For some reason eggs from all the dishes were removed even though only 1 of us was pregnant. Food in general tasted really good. They have some good outdoor seating as well.
Note to owner: Ask staff to repeat the order to a customer and please get someone to make some scrambled eggs, it's not that hard.
W. T.Called here for a quick bite to eat. A really enjoyable experience. From the friendly door man to the pleasant servers the staff were great. The menu is not extensive but what they have is good. The burgers are tasty! Great spot.
R. M.Service was great, very polite and lots of smiles. Ambiance and tunes were also spot on. Cocktails were a bit of a let down however, lovely presentation but slightly over diluted by low quality fruit juices. Overall would recommend for the delightful atmosphere!
J. M.I've only ever visited for drinks but its always great. The staff and service is good. I also really like the option of ordering and paying on the app. Really good selection of drinks and cocktails. As I said, we only had drinks but the food smelled amazing.
J. I.Pretty mediocre service. We sat down outside and ordered four drinks using the table’s QR code. One drink came out on its own and five minutes later we were told we had to go inside. (It was 11:00pm.) We inquired about our other drinks and was then told that they were sitting at the bar and once we find a seat inside they would bring them over.
The tequila was in a shot glass but not the kind of tequila you would really drink that way. The espresso martini was mediocre. Then we tried to order another round using our new table’s QR code and someone came over 15 minutes later to tell us they were done serving. (It was midnight.)
Not their best night but they usually lack on customer service anyway.

BYW: it is just opposite the Botanic train station. So if you want to grab a bite before getting on the train, this is the ideal place!
T. C.Even I would say this is more a restaurant rather than a specialist coffee shop, they do have very good barista doing great coffee.
The coffee is rich bodied, just the right thickness to go with their dark coloured industrial interior design, pretty well matched. The barista obviously knows what he's doing and very knowledgeable when talking about roasters in Ireland.
The food is quite universal, very tasty. Good place for an early breakfast when it's quiet, or getting yourself warmed up in a cold rainy day. However I can imagine it becomes busy for lunch or dinner.
t.Their coffee is actually so nice! Highly recommended. I ordered an avacado and scrambled egg sandwich which was really yummy. The place has a nice vibe to it as well and the staff is also very good.

The food though, was a may zing! We were greeted with a hot punch (full of citrus so unfortunately after 2 sips I couldn't drink anymore due to being allergic to citrus 😭). The cocktail starters were an absolute hit! I cleared my plate (I had turkey with all the trimmings) and so did the the rest of the table 🤤 and the smores........🤤🤤🤤🤤
All in all, it was an enjoyable evening with friends and, as I said, I will more than likely return (although the DJ not having Christmas music was a big let down 😔)

s. m.Electronic orders could be a chaos if there is a problem, I had to ask 7 times for drinks already in the order and paid electronically, only just after 7 times they recognized that drink was not available and offer and alternative, but place in general is cool
M. Z.I’ve been going here for 5 years. Used to be my favourite pub came here every weekend. But sad to see standards slipping with drinks. Had 3 Guinness and each one was bad. Gin selection is now smaller and more expensive. Food options aren’t as good anymore either. Also base club music being played really loud could barely talk to each other. Not the kind of vibe this place always used to be. Used to be my favourite place but now I’m hesitant to come in case I get a bad drink or there won’t be anything nice.

C. S.We decided to call in at 8pm for a quick drink before heading out for dinner at 9pm. The decor is nice and clean. The door men are friendly and helpful. The drinks menu takes 5minutes to look at as it is more of a book which is a lovely feature. The down side is that after waiting for 10 minutes for the girl to make 1 gin and tonic for the customer in front of me, I was then told that she didn't know how to make cocktails and I would have to wait for the mixologist to take my order. By this time he had taken two other orders from people who had came after me. She said she would take my order and bring it down. 20 minutes later our drinks arrived. She did apologise to us for keeping us waiting but the place was quiet.
Overall a nice place, okay if you are there for the night and don't mind waiting. However not the place to pop in for a pre dinner drink unless you want a pint or a glass of wine.

Would definitely go back it's worth the visit. But they didn't take cash! I didn't ask if it was a Covid thing or not so bring as card just in case.
M. A.Lovely breakfast, thankfully open on Easter Monday! Very tasty and filling, decent price for amount of food. Oh, and they have WiFi if you don’t want to talk to your table mate, or you don’t have data and need to plan your drive.

W. S.Three friends and I went for breakfast during the week. The coffee was fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality.
However, the food, while not mind blowing, was ok. The portions as can be seen were small and my 'Shakshuka' costing £5.50 came with an overcooked egg and was a bit boring.
Other friends had luck with the avocado toast. One of my friends had a little trouble with a fly in their tea and they had to ask for a fresh cup, not even a new pot of tea.
TLDR: ok, bit overpriced. Solid coffee.
I. A. C.We went to Belfast for a quick getaway and we're really impressed with this place. Tasty good quality food, yummy delicious cocktails and good prices. We ended up going back. All staff were lovely and professional. We would like to mention Shiv. He served us on our last day in Belfast and he was super nice and friendly. We will come back for sure. Gotta to try all the items on menu!

The food is really great, we had the 'Cowboy Brunch' breakfast at a cost of £9. (for 3 sausages 1 egg, beans and a square of potato bread)
The reason for the 3 stars was the miserable portion of bacon at £2 for one (not full) rasher. Hardly the length of the square of potato bread... (Is there a bacon shortage)....

B. W.My first visit to Town Square was during this strange pandemic so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had met up with friends for lunch and it was one of their recommendations, it certainly didn't disappoint. My only minor grip was the lunch menu selection isn't very big, but that can be forgiven in this strange times and I easily found a few things that looked tasty and wow, the Town Square Bap was awesome. Looking forward to Town Square reopening for Christmas.

There was a very strong smell of urine which in any restaurant is a bad sign. If the toilets were cleaned up, then the restaurant would get a five star from us both.

Reasonable price for Belfast & surrounding area, give it a go if you're alight @ Botanic train station, it's across the road.

N.Great bar, great prices and student discount. Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere, my one compaint is overly loud music at the weekends. Weeknights are perfectly fine. The bar has no dance floor and doesn't seem intended to be a club of any sort, so I can't understand the loud music, it adds nothing and just prevents you from having any kind of civilised conversations without shouting. I drink here very regularly but more often than not we leave now after one drink due to the music being overly loud.

B. C.Stopped in for breakfast last week. It was tasty and fresh. My husband and I both loved what we ordered. I had the Smashed Avocado on Sourdough. It had a poached egg with garlic, feta (or some kind of soft cheese), sunflower seeds, and pea sprouts. Perfect!

The quality of the food is very good though a little on the expensive side. Ordering one coffee and receiving two 'mini' versions is a little confusing - a pretension too far? The quality of the roast is good though and the fact that one can have coffee (not alcohol) late into the evening here is a big plus point.

P.What a really lovely night we had with friends and our baby daughter tonight... the staff were so welcoming when we first arrived got us a perfect table, we were there for coffee and dessert, they were amazing. I couldnt stop saying to our friends how lovely the atmosphere was and honestly the staff couldnt have done enough and were so nice to our baby girl waving and interacting with her everytime they passed as she was loving watching them as they wizzed around serving others... great place to be on Friday night, highly recommend and cant wait to return, thank you!!!

I'm a big fan of Nachos in general and am looking for something to rival Hard Rock Cafes. Having been all over America trying to find, little did I know the biggest rival would be found so close to home.
They make a couple of unusual choices that somehow work.
Instead of salsa they put on some kind of ranch dressing and compliment that with a garnish. I'm not sure what is but it works so well.
If they would just consider a bit more melted cheese and some guacamole it would take the Nachos to 10/10.

K.I’m sure this place is great, the atmosphere is lovely, but when you go in and order 4 things off of their menu and then them come back to you 4 different times to tell you they don’t have that in. It doesn’t make you enjoy your visit very much. If you don’t have it, don’t have it on the menu. But if you don’t have this problem I’m sure you’ll have lovely time!

M. S.Very small portion sizes for a £7 breakfast. Coffee arrived after the food... they didn’t add the tomatoes to the avocado toast, when I asked for tomatoes they said they ran out and will have to run to the shop to get some...They did give a discount for this when I said something.

My only gripe was the relentlessly loud and painful melancholic hipster music that made you feel like you were trapped in a sinking yellow submarine. Guys - turn the music down 20 per cent and become the best Cafe in Belfast.
