B. B.Called up and made a booking on an automated system but the restaurant had never received our booking. Not sure what happened but luckily there was enough seating there. Sat outside and enjoyed some lovely drinks. The drinks can be a little expensive but it’s nice for a one off treat. Easy on app ordering service. Wish they did happy hour deals.

They had ran out of churros, so I was gutted! And tried the brownie instead, which I didn't enjoy as I found it quite dry.
Cocktails were lovely though, and the service was great.
It is expensive though, we spent around £80, so not really somewhere you can visit very often

It was quiet when I visited, there was some bar training going on when I visited. The service was very slow & although 3 bar staff covering drinks for only two or three tables, no one even took the time to acknowledge that I was stood waiting.

What I got was a coffee AND smarties, which I love. It was a good job I wasn't drunk when I looked up because the mirrored ceiling outside did my head in (nicely).
In all, my All Bar One experience was the nicest I can ever remember having for all of £1,50p!
That's even more remarkable than their b..... ceiling!

J. S.Blimey it's pricey but it's a good meeting point if you've got people who don't know the city arriving on different trains. There are always people in it due to the ideal location for New Street. If you do know your way around there are better places with better pricing but (cost aside) it's clean and pleasant enough.

M.All in all I love the place, I visit often and will visit again, it's just on this occasion when I visited the waiting staff didn't seem too "with it" and sharp, maybe they were ready for Christmas 🤷🏿♀️ I had also attempted to make a reservation days in advance with no success, by the time my call was returned it was of course too late for my booking. Finally, one of the dishes that I wanted was sold out, and in my opinion the closest alternative was not good enough.

We were approached by a patron who told us that we looked like we were from the big bang theory because we looked smart. We were four men with physics degrees and a blonde woman.

Food and drinks seem expensive (most beers lagers are over £5) but this is due to its central location and is par for course for a Train Station pub.
I come here often for a ‘quick’ after work drink or two with colleagues; the inverted commas are because service can be quite slow especially when cocktails are being ordered by others. I note that this causes a lot of annoyance with patrons in the queue especially when people don’t wait their turn.
There is a comprehensive range of continental lagers and the cocktails are popular – tapas style dishes are tasty if you’re after a snack. Staff are friendly and the drinks are good.
The venue is clean and stylish with a semi-sheltered outdoor area. If you do have drinks outside be prepared to deal with aggressive begging – quite a big problem near the station – occasionally this happens indoors as well.
Toilet facilities are clean and maintained well - you need a passcode to access which just means people wonder in and ask customers for the passcode!
Would recommend for people passing through with time to pass – just be prepared to wait a little longer than you would ordinarily expect to be served.
J. M.Booked a table for 2 for Friday 2 November at 7-00pm , but when we got there there was no record of it on the system so we had to wait until a table was found for us. After that the night was enjoyable as the food and the service was good. What is the point of booking on line if the table isn’t there for you when you arrive
T. S.All Bar One, is located just outside of Birmingham train station. It has an extensive food and drink menu. Some items don't have prices, so we downloaded the All Bar One App and ordered through this. It worked very well and drinks were at the table minutes after completing the order. However, getting IDed after already drinking two drinks, didn't make too much sense!
J. J.The best All Bar One that I have been to. I have been to several in London and also in other cities. This is the best by far. Even with changes, the staff are always wonderfully friendly and conversational and it is evident they have all been trained well ie. Making cocktails etc. The food deserves 10 stars.

L. S.Came here last week because it's a short distance from the station. I like the venue overall but was surprised to get I.D.'d at 6pm! All of the 3 doors were open in the semi-circular room and that made it pretty cold. There was no need for that and all it did was put me off, probably why it peaks early and everyone deserts the place around 8/9ish. The menu is a bit limited and the food took a while to come out. When it did, the starters were lovely so so on balance it was alright, plus the waiting staff are friendly, as they come over to check how your meal is. You need a code to get into the toilets which is an annoyance and when you do, it's confusing because there are this individual doors which are all separate cubicles rather than your usual mens/womens loos.
m. r.Such a great Place visited saturday 4th March with friends and had an incident with one of my friends collapsing they phoned an ambulance and stayed with him u till they arrived.. a big mention for Helen and Simon who were so helpfull. They need great praise (and maybe a raise)..

J. R.It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon and seating was hard to find. Drinks were reasonably priced and staff were attentive. You need a code from staff to access the washrooms.

Staff are friendly and there is everything your come to expect from an All Bar One. The prices are slightly above average for drinks and food, but I would argue this is acceptable considering the quality as well as the location.

K.Right then it's 10/06/2016 & it's 5:37pm I had a delightful day in Birmingham city centre on the way home I was making my way to new street station so I stopped off at all bar one grand central for the first time the bar staff were very cooperative I remember ordering a medium glass of Chablis & ended up ordering a large velvet devil Malbec the all bar one venues I've visited have always had a respectful atmosphere it's a shame I can't say the same about the deputy manger that lost his cool over a pressurised environment this is a issue I experienced many months ago over a short chat on the phone the deputy manager got away with it because the guest care department were too causal about his behaviour towards the public my five star go's out to the bar staff that served me like I was a valued customer it's what I call doing your job in all aspects
