I visited this place on mother's day for a meal with friends. The environment was nice and staffs were welcoming. Our food took a long time to arrive as it was a busy afternoon. The cocktails were great. Overall, a good experience 👍

We were served by Kirsty Charlie Laura and Paul for my 21st birthday. They brought out cakes that had been taken in, but we were given a complimentary bottle of fizz! Really great service and a lovely night! 10/10

Our server Rhiannan was great, we wasn’t so keen on the table that had been arranged for us so she moved us to where we wanted to go hassle free. Cocktails and Food was fab, was asked throughout the services if we needed anything more which was as good. Really enjoyed my pre birthday celebrations here! Cocktails and food are great value for money. Customer services and value for money is 10/10 highly recommend.

Little night out, Emily sorted us out and made a nice zombie for us (forgot to get a picture as it was very nice and it got drank.) as well as helping the new guy that was there behind the bar. Emanuela sorted our food out, good portion sizes. Nice one guys. Its a pitty some things on the menu wasn’t available. Atmosphere was nice and calm because of the time that we came.

Really well looked after on a weekday afternoon. Super friendly bar team sorted us out with the 2-4-1 cocktails and brought them over to our table when they were ready. Recommend the Long Islands (pic). When the (I assume) Duty Manager found out we were celebrating a special birthday, we were made a fuss of with complimentary prossecco complete with sparklers. Fantastic service. Thanks to bar team incl Sunny & Sapphire! ❤

I went for someone's birthday. In fairness the bar staff and door staff were friendly and efficient. The beer was cold and the price not excessive. For me, it's more a night club than a bar...I want to talk to friends and be able to hear what they say. But if you like dark lighting and loud music, it's great!

Loving the refurbishment! Came in with my friend for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. The chap behind the bar was polite and understanding as we were stuck on picking a burger of all things. Very busy on Saturday evening, many tables are reserved for 8pm, only outdoor sitting is available for a table. Outdoor sitting has the heaters. I have ordered rump stake , it was cook to perfection and quit quick. Has a guest car park, you need to ask for Qr code access by the bar. Exit to the bar is available via garden as well.

Me and my sister are frequent customers to the Slug&Lettuce, we've been to quite a few around the UK, we visited the Harbourne, Birmingham Slug&Lettuce on 28/07/2020, and it was the best experience we have both ever had in a S&L. Sadly we didn't catch the names of the people we were speaking to, but the service was quick, the employees were so chatty, upbeat and nice. I wish we lived closer so we could experience the same level of hospitality, customer experience and just so we could chat to them again! I hope this gets back to them as our experience in other S&Ls hasn't been anywhere as nice as this one was.

The bottomless brunch was quite pricey for the amount of drinks we actually got served in the time as service was a little slow at times. However, Laura was a shining star. She made sure we were looked after, She was super attentive, polite and her customer service outshone any other staff member we came into contact that day. She really went above and beyond for us that day!

Nice little place to go and eat for the young or old crowds. Didn't have any drinks so can't comment on that but the food was very nice. However there are many discrepancies between the physical menu and the app. Some things you can order only on the app and some you can't order at all on the app and the same for the menu. Slightly expensive but the food is very nice.

This is one of my favourite eateries/pubs in the Harborne area. I often meet up here with friends for breakfast or lunch. However, I will sometimes go on my own but feel comfortable to do so. Yesterday we were served by Lucy who looked after us really well. Friendly, chatty and efficient. It's definitely one of my go to places.

Popped into Slug and Lettuce Harborne prior to attending the royal ballet performance of the nutcracker at the hippodrome. There were 3 large Christmas works party’s enjoying food and drinks. However, Natasha made our evening wonderful. We didn’t once feel like we were being neglected. 10 out of 10 for me would definitely recommend and will be coming again soon.

Well.. I didn't expect that! Haven't been to a Slug and Lettuce since moving to Birmingham back in '06. Came for Breakfast and the quality was fantastic. Having eaten at most venues in Harborne I'm gutted I haven't decided to come in sooner. The staff were great and really attentive and the sausages were a triumph. Sunny and Harmony were a great pair and could actually hold a conversation unlike most in hospitality nowadays. 5/5 will return!

I was quite annoyed with the way the situation was handled at the time, however after speaking with Edwina (Management) this morning I am happy with the outcome and will be returning in the near future. I and a friend visited the Slug and Lettuce on the morning of Wednesday 28th July for a full english breakfast. The food was fantastic, plenty of it, it was of good quality and all at very reasonable price, a price that included a hot drink. It was obvious that the chef took pride in his/her work as the food had been expertly plated up so not only did it taste good but it looked good too. The service was excellent with all staff being friendly and professional. A very very well done to all concerned, we shall definitely be back!

We came into the slug and lettuce harborne for lunch last monday afternoon (27th september) this was our first visit. As soon as we walked in and went to the bar we was greeted with a very warm welcome and a big smile,the bartender taking care of us was called Lucy,she couldnt do enough for us she was friendly,polite and professional through out the time we was there. Lucy offered to bring my drinks over to the table save me waiting at the bar,she was so friendly and we had a nice chat while she was serving my drinks,even the two ladies i had lunch with said how refreshing it was to have such a lovely bartender. Yesterday, my husband and I popped into the Slug & Lettuce (Harborne). We have not been 'out' for many months. I was a little unsure of what to expect (due to restrictions), but the young lady who greeted us couldn't have been more helpful. As we hadn't booked, she even helped me to add the NHS app to my phone and clearly explained the social distancing guidelines / expectations before showing us to our table. Our order was small (we only ordered a couple of soft drinks and some toast), but nothing was too much trouble. She even helped me add the S&L app to my phone for future visits. My only regret was that I didn't catch her name. She was such a polite, friendly and helpful member of staff. Thank you - we are looking forward to our next visit.

They try to advise but got several things wrong, luckily I know what I can and can't have without being told. Staff were quite abrupt when walking in in regards to track and trace. Oh and the waitress swore at us as she said she had "f%&ked up our order" and to top it off also said that I look liked the "type of person to have had a baby at 15" (i didnt and I wont go into the context of the conversation as that's irrelevant) ... not something to say to a customer you don't know! Wont be returning due to staff, other than that food was ok and cheap due to half price on a Monday.

I only used the bar and then conference room upstairs. The bar staff are friendly and efficient. The room upstairs is comfortable and set up in a U shape. The seats are comfortable and the room was warm. One of my colleagues had just had a meal downstairs and said it was a fantastic deal, half price all day on Mondays, and was very tasty. I'll be giving that a try next time I'm the. The only thing I'd ask is that there be a sign on the door to the stairs and conference room, as it's not obvious to find and you'll need to ask the bar staff for the first visit.

It's got a great little outside garden out the back, plenty of comfortable seating around. Had lasagne for an evening meal. Ridiculously over-priced for the quantity. I and a fellow diner who also had the lasagne both said the same thing as the food arrived - "was expecting much more than this." For the price, we should have gotten twice as much as we did. It did, however, taste lovely. If you're hungry don't come here, or perhaps be prepared to order a double portion... Also, if you're hoping for a quiet place to eat and chat look elsewhere - the music is far too loud.

Upon arrival the table that had been reserved for us was dirty, the manager was very efficient at sorting this out straight away for us, I then asked someone for a drinks menu and was told to get it myself, Once we’d ordered the starters came very quickly which was nice however one of the chicken and chorizo bites we ordered had no chicken in! Completely hollow, just cheese, the other one did have chicken so we didn’t complain although we waited 5 minutes after receiving the starters for our cutlery to even eat it, I then asked for a jug of water this never arrived the whole time we were there, once finished our starters we stacked them up and put our empty drinks at the end of the table as well, however when the fresh drinks came I offered to put the empty ones on the tray to be taken away and was told that she wasn’t taking them and to leave them on the table, although what I assume to be the manager brought another drink over and did clear the table at the same time which was a positive considering how long we’d been sat with empty starter plates and drinks glasses at the end of the table, 50 minutes after our starters still no mains so I asked a member of staff how long they would be and although it was a long wait he was very efficient at getting it sorted ASAP for us and they were with us within the next 5-10 minutes and he was very polite (blonde hair and glasses), our 2 hour limit on the table was up at 8:45 but we didn’t even receive the food until after then, 2 of the meals came and were half eaten before the 3rd even came out, the mains were very nice considering the wait and cleared quite quickly after finishing by the same person who sorted out the food for us , considering we got 50% off from eat out to help out we didn’t complain in restaurant because it wasn’t worth it however hoping that this review can be seen as helpful in improving certain members of staffs attitude towards guests, understanding that there are new rules due to Covid-19 which may have preventing bringing us a drinks menu even though she’d stood right next to us already and certain protocols in regulars to who can clear certain tables which is why she couldn’t clear our table when bringing us fresh drinks but again she’d been to the table twice and stood right next to us and I offered to load the tray with the empty glasses for her, even with considering the new rules, it could have all been said in a more polite way

Had a party for my mom and dads 80th birthday today.the staff were amazing,helpful,couldnt do enough for us to make our celebration go smoothly.food came out quick and no mix ups with 30 people and they were all dancing behind the bar to the singers we had.thankyou all the staff who helped make my parents birthday go perfectly.and special thanx to adam who has worked so hard the last few weeks to get everything in place.highly reccomend the slug and lettuce.
