Great food from Original Patty Men 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 massive pub and massive outdoor garden. App for drinks very quick service. Not much parking always very busy so you have to park down the road.

Only popped in for a cup of tea the girl served us was very pleasant. l needed a cup of hot water for my teabag as she didn't have what I wanted and it was free of charge. Makes a change as some places charge. So all very nice.

Nice pub showing football near where we were staying however bar staff are the absolute nosiest staff I have ever had the misfortune of being near. They threw bottles into the bottle bin as loud as they could....customers nearby were having heart attacks! As an ex bar tender myself we were trained to not be heard rather than bang crash wallop every few minutes! Not pleasant. A real shame.

Absolute gem, we have driven past this for so many years. I never knew about it until we fancied a Sunday roast and did some research.
We will be coming back, absolutely gorgeous Sunday roast. Everyone was happy. Thank you so much. Our waiter was great, the food came out in good time and was lovely and warm. My wife was happy with the vegetarian option, she said it was the best ever! Very well priced! Won’t go anywhere else when we are in the neighbourhood. Thank you

Love coming here. Selection of drinks is huge, literally something for everyone. Your usual pub beers plus a really good selection of IPA's, craft lagers etc. Plenty of seating inside as it's split in to like mini areas - you have to go in to know what I mean but it's really nice. Huge outdoor area too with plenty of shelter and gas fire heaters to keep you warm in the evenings.
Massive screen for the sports and a little hatch outside for food.
I say food, it's run by Original Patty Men. If you've ever been to Digbeth Dining Club you'll know all about them. The burgers are lush! A little more expensive than what you'd usually pay in a oub but then again, it's not a pub burger to be fair. And on the days where OPM aren't there and you fancy a bite to eat? You can order food in to the pub and have your favourite takeaway with a beer.

The garden is still love, with green views towards the river. They have a lot of music events and serve food and cocktails. I did eat here a few years ago and it was fine. They've since changed the menu. The pub itself is lovely but the toilets are dingy and horrible and I would never come on a busy night. They need a new toilet block but they've done a lovely, respectful job redoing the rest of the rooms, in keeping with the Victorian splendour.

Not our type of pub, but it was ok. The Large TV screen in the garden, then the 2 lots of music it was All competing against each other, shame but is what it is.
