S. H.Had a lovely lunch here this week. We were first to arrive on the day and the staff were excellent and even provided table service in the dining area.
Our food was excellent and I spotted there were some tables that can be used as remote working spaces with plug sockets for those who don't want to go to a cafe.
My only frustration was wanting to give a tip to the server and discovering it can't be clearly added when paying by card. Good table servers should always be able to be tipped especially as we move more cashless.

Lovely little pub.
Paid parking available on the streets adjacent and some of the spots are payable via RingGo so be aware of that if you're driving.

T. P.We were a party of 6 who visited mid Saturday afternoon, very vibrant and great atmosphere. pricing is very reasonable for city centre. Slight downside was food service was a little slow but was delicious and hot
T. B.Recently refurbished and had a name change from Utopia to The Roebuck. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Lovely establishment just off the beaten track but well worth seeking out.
a. s.Absolutely stunning food and excellent customer service from staff. We came here as a team from work and i work round the corner. Food was fantastic and delicious, fresh, enjoyed it and will be coming back again with friends!!!
p. b.Love the vibe here. When the bar and restaurant is quiet it's relaxing here, on the flip side there's a buzz when it's busy, particularly at Christmas time.
Some very good ales on sale, with no problems to try before you buy. Very good service from Joanna and Lucy with a good quality sound system.

A. H.Nice spot, seems mainly geared for eating in, which is a shame as their menus not that great. We ended up just having a pint as there was nothing on the menu to tempt us.
D. S.A great eatery in the City Centre. Although ostensibly a pub, getting served is a challenge at the bar when it's busy. However, book a table, you get table service, real ales are available, the food is great and the staff are fun and pleasant. Try the potato cakes with extra ham and egg...you won't need to be fed later!
c. D.I generally come here after work for a few drinks sometimes. The drinks are reasonably priced and there is seating area situated around the bar. Close to Grand Central and Snow hill making it ideal for me. It is also less busy than Alchemist therefore you are likely to get served quicker.

H. T.Friendly, relaxed place with a great range of food and drinks to choose from. I organised a private event for a work social and dealt with Paul. This was the first social since COVID so I was eager to make sure it all went to plan but I didn't need to worry. He was brilliant - communication leading up to the event was great, everything was very well organised and ran exactly to schedule. Would not hesitate to book again!
J. W.Myself and my collegues from barclays absolutely love this place and have been visiting this wonderful bar for many years for both food and drinks. The staff are fabulous and i got to know some of them on a personal level which means its easy booking a table particularly if we have a larger number in our group. The food is delicious and always served very quickly and of all the bars in the city centre this is quite comfortably my favourite and i highly recommend it.

I. H.If you like city pubs this is one of the better ones. The range of beverages was diverse. The highlight was the the quick, helpful and attentive staff. Mediocre beer you can get everywhere customer service is the difference
P. L.This is a pleasant bar, located in the middle of Birmingham's business quarter. It's a good place to pop in for a drink on a weekend as well as on week nights. They have a decent cocktail menu and a selection of beers and ciders. The prices are reasonable. Also food is served.

L. G.Not normally a busy place so the crowd is okay, but the bartenders have a great sense of humour! I like venue. There's plenty of comfy seating around and having the bar in the centre means you can get served either side so there's never any overcrowding. The loos are down a small flight of stairs.
P. H.Excellent, quirky venue with a good range of ales. The old cathedral tavern has had a makeover and it suits well. A good, off the beaten track venue for an evening out.

A. C.Fantastic place, a hidden gem in a mass of mediocre Birmingham city centre eateries! Visited on a Sat when 2 for 1 on main courses was the offer. I had absolutely delicious seared tuna (see pic) with risotto & my fiancee had the utopia burger. Both were MUCH better than the average pub grub dish & the service was very quick & friendly. Overall with puddings, mains & a drink the bill was under £30, we will def come back. Would highly recommend to all. A*

S. H.A good bar in a nice part of the city. The bar offers a good selection of everything and the food is good also. The staff are also good and the service is fast. All the food is table service and they always have specials on the menu.

D. D.It's okay but on a Friday gets very busy and loud and there was not enough bar staff to serve the patrons. So if you like jostling for attention and shouting to be heard then this is the place for you.
A. S.Nicely placed in the financial district, it's a good place for a lunchtime or after work drink. The dining is good too. Prices aren't cheap, but probably par for the course in a city bar.
