Reviews of The Vine Inn
L. S.
Nice little pub. Really friendly locals and a chilled atmosphere. It's a typical old school pub, but not really my kind of place. They don't really take card, so you're better off with cash... they have a card machine but the minimum payment is £20, then you get your change back in cash from that £20, it's a bit old fashioned, kind of like the pub to be honest.
They don't have anything interesting on tap either, just the usual mass produced lagers, think Coors and Guinness. We went in as it is dog friendly and they have a "beer garden" but I was disappointed to find something resembling a smoking shelter rather than a beer garden; imagine a 10x10 foot concrete box with a bench in the middle!
We did talk to some nice locals but it's not my kind of place. It reminded me of the Nags Head from Only Fools and Horses, which is great if that's your thing.

I was greeted by a warm smile and enjoyed my brief time here. Great spot with a genuine feel. Great prices. I’ll definitely be popping in regularly from now on!

I visited here Saturday 25th Sept for the first time to watch the footy. Great local crowd and good attentive service from the staff. Will definitely be revisiting and would recommend if you want a proper pub without the bells and whistles.

Excellent service from Dawn at this lovely pub based in the heart of Birmingham.
With great beverages to offer at excellent prices and with sky sports on a few screens to watch your sports with a relaxed atmosphere.

Great little traditional boozer and good vibe. Quality selection of drinks and even though city centre location, the prices were excellent

Proper boozer with Villa affinity. Great service. Good booze. Didn't have food but looked decent.

A superb original Birmingham pub with THE best Mild I have ever tasted. An absolute little oasis in the vast span of a large city. Go there you will love it and depending how old you are, it'll are you back years. A proper boozer.

Nice local pub in residential area. Pub food served. Worth a visit to see how traditional bham pub looks like. Burger with chips under £5 is nothing to complain about, not the best burger I ever had but well worth the price tag. Great place overall, tasty homely food.

K. D.
One of the most friendly place in the area. Low prices, good drinks and always the most important sport events on the screens.

Lunch time Friday, only one person serving, so was a bit slow. Been there before so knew what it's like. Friendly enough place, beer ok, but all the food being served left a slightly greasy feel and smell to the place. Alright to go occasionally, probably better in a group, but need to allow for the serving time. Overall, a nice little friendly Birmingham pub.

What a boozer. Proper pub. Good value. Good staff. Friendly punters. Lovely Guinness. Pool table..Spent all day in there watching the Cheltenham Gold cup on the big screens. £4.50 for a tub of Irish stew and doorstep of bread as big as your head. Full as a sock afterwards. Get yourselves down there.

The food (home made chilli con carne and rice and chips)is absolutely spot on. I highly recommend. The menu is really good and well priced. The Carling is always good🍺.They always have good background music being played. Pool table £1🎱. Lots of screens and decent seating for all the football games. Traditional bar games and snacks on offer too. Great friendly fast service from the girls who work behind the bar at the Vine, fantastic. Just a very short walk from Broad Street.

Amazing place! lovely pub, friendly, clean and welcoming. Excellent prices and the food is delicious, If spoilt for choice and unsure of what to choose I seriously recommend going for the days special. Today I had the Venison hotpot and later the chicken curry and chips, both were superb and don’t just take my word for it, just look at the photos!
