Great place to drink, nice and friendly with plenty of real ales to choose from. Well worth a visit if in Birmingham. Even the cats got his own bar stool.... Can you make mine a milk stout.

Proper old school pub this is what is should be like.
Fine ales and conversation with friends.
No sky TV or deafening music just 40 or more excellent real beers.
Run by the excellent black country brewery which provide universally excellent pubs. Highly prized by me and heartily recommended to you.

A traditional pub with plenty of character two floors for drinkers and a roof garden.
Doesn't serve warm food but will allow you to bring hot food in.
Plenty of interesting snacks to help you work up a thirst. Quick service and friendly bar staff.
Now the important bit it's a Black Country brewery pub with an impressive selection of real ales from the " light stuff" to the zombie juice. Luckily it's a 10 minute down hill stagger to New Street station or the Tram

Lovely old fashioned City centre boozer. Barman lovely and reminds me of how all pubs used to be. Well done.

Excellent traditional pub, large selection of real ales. Friendly staff, plenty of seating and an upstairs bar too.

Our favourite ale pub. We always have a pint when we are in brum. Always lots of variety of ales and other drinks/bar snacks. Staff are always friendly plus they have pub cats to fuss

The perfect city pub!
Great selection of craft beer, cosy and clean atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Great outdoor terrace area, with it's own upstairs bar. Oh, and there's always a cat about!
Overall, the perfect city pub for a pint or two.

I used to visit this place regularly when I was working in Birmingham, but it has been a good few years since I've headed in for a pint or five.
A Sunday morning to kill waiting for a train to London, meant I could visit and try a few (hopefully) quality beers, and relax in a great pub.
I still can't fault the place. Great quick friendly service from the team, amazingly kept cask and tasty keg beers, with a selection of bar snacks that every pub should have.
Just be careful if you go for the Scampi Flavour fries, as the two pub cats may smell them and just want to become your best friend.
For any drinker that likes a quality pub, this one is for you, and at least it is downhill to New Street Station after those 5 or so pints.

Another excellent Black Country Ales Pub with a huge selection of Ales. There is also a good choice of lagers and ciders too. They also stock plenty of spirits and wine etc as you would expect.
There is a long bar downstairs with plenty of seating available. Here you will find upto 16 Ales available.
There is so a smaller upstairs bar with seating inside.
You will find the rooftop garden upstairs too an area which supplies a covered and a non covered area.
Downstairs you will find the elder population and upstairs there is a more youthful crowd to be found.
Well worth a visit for sure.
