Great pub, been going here for years. It's a great place for a quick pint or to meet up with mates for food. The food menu is pretty good as well and reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend.

Great pub. Great beers. Great food. Everyone I know stopped going in though coz of rude guy behind bar. Think he's the manager. Shame really coz we always used to pop in for few pints after work. 3 of us visited here yesterday it was up a sidestreet just off the main christmas markets area. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and In spite of being very busy we were treated excellently. The food was basic pub grub but nicely cooked and presented and was great value for money. We couldn't fault them.

We visited the Windsor last Friday at 5pm we ordered two meals and drinks. We sat talking and at 5.50 we asked where our meals were. The supervisor checked and the chef had not seen our order. She apologised and offered us a drink. Our meals arrived at 6.18pm the meals were warm, dried up peas and a mushroom that looked like it was from the breakfast menu. I can’t understand how you can take an hour and twenty minutes to prepare food and it then not serve it hot. The steak had to be cooked on the griddle how did they cook it? The supervisor couldn’t apologise enough and said it wasn’t their usual chef. I’ve used the Windsor before and had no issues. I’m just disappointed on this occasion.

Nice pub landlord was a bit off states no kids after 6pm we went in at 5.40pm .One drink before getting train. So rush drink but on way out at 6.10pm ,A regular sat with a 5 or 6 years old child child.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to watch the England game. We didn't have a booking anywhere and the walk in pubs were full. We came across this place and not only were they able to accommodate us, but their customer service (despite it being very busy) was top class. They always checked to see if we were okay with drinks and the service was quick. This pub deserves more recognition and I will definitely be returning.

Was just visiting Birmingham as not from the area but wow, was just looking for a bite to eat and fancied a pub lunch. Stumbled on The Windsor (via Google search) and glad I did. - Food was well plated, hot and delicious (I recommend the Mixed grill) -All staff happy, helpful and very friendly. Even assisted with placing a ramp to the seating area for my wife who's in a wheelchair. -Clean and tidy and just all round great atmosphere and experience. Only allowed to give 5 stars, my rating would be 10 and definitely will visit again next time I'm in the area.

Arrived on May 22nd for a book table off 5. Was greeted by manager who was really nice and gave us all covid rules and information. Table service I wasn't sure how it would go to be honest but got say the staff served us really quickly and ask if we would like more drinks regularly. The drinks were great too and they over a wide variety of drinks including alcoholic, soft drinks and hot drinks. The staff were amazing and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nice pub. Good range of real ales that change frequently. Also plenty of different wines, spirits and soft drinks including tea and coffee. There is an extensive menu which is reasonably priced. I felt happy and safe there. Sport on the tele's which can be viewed from most areas of the bar. The bar staff were friendly and courteous taking one's order with speed, efficiency and a smile. I will definately go there again..

It's a decent back street boozer very similar to a whetherspoons but slightly off the beaten track but very easy to find. Cheap enough beer for a city centre, staff always been friendly whether day shift or evening and the food is pub grub but decent enough. Don't expect restaurant standard but I use it regularly and enjoy visiting it. Really can't think of a negative. They have TV screens usually showing sport and tables round the back of the bar if you want a quieter seat.

I visit The Windsor regularly and always have a good time the staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. A great place to watch sports. My only question is will you be showing the football on amazon over December. I would recommend anyone to visit this pub as there is always a warm and friendly welcome.

Nice place. Went there to watch the boxing match Joshua vs Povetkin, it wasn't overcrowded like other pubs or bars and the ambience was very nice. Great staff, didn't had the cocktail that I wanted available but prepared me a delicious cocktail instead!

As with my previous visit, the place was clean with friendly staff, with service at the bar punctual despite being busy. Again, my food and drink order for under £10 was good value for money. I was told that there would be a 10-15 minute wait for food which turned out to be accurate. Therefore, this proved to be a more enjoyable visit than before.

I am not sure how a previous review of 2 stars were posted. I found the food and beer very good and cheap, but still good quality. The ambiance of the pub had a very good feel.. and friendly staff, would vist again.

Love the pub to grab some food and pints before games. Also they have a selection of tv's to catch any other sports on. The food service is quick and good priced. The only bad thing is service on drinks slows up during busy times as they do get fairly packed out come about 1pm onwards Saturdays and Sundays. So just get there early.

Nice pub in one of the allies not far from pigeon park. They have s big range of drinks to choose from and a lot are from barrels/pumps. Whenever I go there is a good amount of staff behind the bar

Popular city-centre pub which is handy for a break from shopping. The fish and chips we ordered were particularly well cooked and didn't take long to reach us despite the place being busy with customers.

I hadn't been here in years . I went on a Sunday afternoon the Staff are friendly and quick at serving , drinks are cheap but a good selection . The toilets were clean... 3 pints of lager with dashes(lime and black) , a pint of Doom Bar , a pint of John Smith's , a glass(1/2) of cider , a large (double)vodka coke, and change from a £20 note LOL . We shall pop in again .

Pleasant decour, still tidy since its much needed refurbishment. Some staff very pleasant others not really customer friendly. Like most public houses today owned by large organisations toilets filthy. 13.30pm no staff update on facilities since 10.30am . Basically as long as you spend over bar we don't give a toss. Decent range of beers. Pleasant clientele usually. We have been to worse Birmingham city centre pubs .

Proper little gift shop in Glasgow centre, not far from Sauchiehall street. NO cheap plastic tacky tartan or overly loud bagpipe music. Nice selection of tasteful, small item gifts with a Scottish theme to them. Pleasant staff and always warm, good place to visit.

Just had a chargrilled chicken fillet burger. It was absolutely beautiful. There is nice friendly service. Good place to bring children. My brother also had the same. My sister had a fish and chips and she said it was one of the best she has had. My grandad also had the fish and chips and he said it was excellent. My mom had lasange and she said it was lovely, one of the best she has had. My nan had jaket potato with chicken and she said it was very nice. We will be coming again. :)
