You are not going to find a more original, as it should be English pub in miles of this place. All the other old original pub in the area have been turned into fancy restaurant type money making machines, while the Shoulder of Mutton maintains its original character and hospitality. Couldn't recommended it more if what you're looking for is a good old fashion pint and banter.

A local pub for local people. Decent little pub with a decent selection of local well kept ales. A cosy cottage feel but a little bit dated, on the two times I was there a customer was standing at the bar blaring out his extremist right wing views which got a bit annoying. Other than than it’s a great little local boozer.
