L. G.The food was good and the staff was welcoming. Just one guy at the bar he doesn't seem really friendly as he told us the place was booked inside but I could see few tables were empty and it was like 3pm. There was a lady staff she was really nice and suggested a place for us to seat. I would recommend this place again.
C. I.Just had such a great meal here - so good. The Camambert starter was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten.
Spatchcocked gammon, triple cooked chips, egg and pineapple - a pub classic maybe but I've not had gammon this good before.
Doom Bar with a handle - made me happy!
Our server, Kitty, was lovely. Being served by someone so cheerful and positive is a great way to round off a busy and stressful week.

O. F.Wonderfully helpful, friendly staff. Visited for lunch last Sat in Jan 2022 and a log fire was burning which added to the atmosphere. Good food and wine and very dog friendly - Mack the dog enjoyed his time there almost as much as we did! Would heartily recommend. Large premises with plenty of parking and with a good and varied selection of meals to choose from. Will definitely be returning.
