Reviews of The Grove Tavern

Lovely friendly staff. We have visited a few times now and been very impressed with the care and attention taken to make us feel welcome. Everyone seems to be having a nice time and staff certainly do not except bad behaviour as witness on one occasion when they refused a person who was getting agitated. Will certainly be back

Great atmosphere locals and staff really look after you. Genuine nice people huge back garden with TV everywhere to watch multiple sporting events.

Great St Patrick's Day, great Guinness and at £3 a pint, tasty free Irish stew, Irish music, friendly great staff and customers all having a great day. Definitely did not expect to find such a hidden Irish gem on St Patrick's day.

Have enjoyed going t grove tavern since changed from a bank t a pub long time ago _ have shared many special events over past 10 years _ my 50th _ mumz birthdays _ sister wedding reception _ Kimmy sabet baby shower _ said farewell t many loved and missed friends I've met in the Grove over the years _ Clive and sadj always give that bit extra _ nibbles just appear unexpected shared t all customer s _ surprise buffet appear as did few weeks ago Friday or Saturday evening ! New years eve sandwiches on trays were given out t all then followed by Clive handing out bag full of party poppers for all t pull at midnight !!!! Love my Friday soul nights with Arkwell dancing all night having t put headphones on pretend t b DJ when he s disappear s I'm happy to cover for him LOL __ staff management all friendly as are door security guys _ But I do miss just hearing Gina s laugh her amazing vibe behind the bar everytime I come in ___ Be nice t have more personality behind bar then just good service _ but I guess Gina is hard one t have t compete against for all those whom know Gina will agree _ yet all staff are lovely friendly no complaints _ my opinion a very special pub with that bit extra t offer t all _

Another drinking hole another drink nice outdoor seating.Shame you have to go indoors at 10.00pm neighbours so it's understandable. A sports bar with a bit of atmosphere, nice pint of Pride, happy bar staff mostly. Does live music and is in easy waking distance from the next bar if you're having a crawl.

Not many pubs in Bournemouth that have decent music and a good pint. This does on a Friday night

Great service and beverage options. They have local beverages as well as other options.
