What a fabulous find! Such a joy to find an individual bar with lovely knowledgeable staff that sells craft ales that are really amazing.
Lovely seating areas cosy and groovy music played from vinyl records. We spent a very happy hour tasting the ales and also their Origins wines by the glass are good also.
Bit pricey but you are getting rare ales and ambiance. Recommend but check their hours…

Excellent craft beer bar in Southbourne, great range of ales, beers, lagers, cider, spirits and good can / bottle fridge. Really nice vibe and regulars.

Not been here for a while and it has had a bit of a transformation. Bar us now out front with a choice of 10 or more craft beers, with a mix of cask and keg. Very relaxing place for a couple of drinks. Dog friendly and people friendly too! There are a few 'micropubs' like this in the area and they are a fantastic addition to the high streets.

Nice cosy place. Plenty of taps to choose from as well as a well stocked fridge.

The Wight Bear is a friendly little micro brewery bar situated in the heart of Southbourne where they have music from the Pudenski Brothers every Tuesday evening who play various songs on request from the customers. Prices can vary for the crafted beers & lagers but it is worth a visit.

Great selection of craft beer! Enjoyable atmosphere, I'm not one to frequent Southbourne/Boscombe but I will be making a return at some point. For sure.

Great little pub with a really good variety of beers and ciders to sample. Clearly run by people who appreciate good beer and a nice environment to enjoy it in. I like that there's plenty of new things to try, whatever your taste.
There's not really a bar here to speak of, just tables and standing room. Plenty of people circulating making sure you can get a drink of you want one, but no central queue of people fighting to be servers next. Starting a tab was painless, and didn't require anything more than your name which was refreshing.
Once you've sampled as many as you fancy, you can select some to take home with you to drink later which is a really nice idea, similar to what you'd get at your local microbrewery.
Definitely somewhere I'll come again and if you like beer I'd strongly recommend you drop in here for a half or two. Keep up the good work!
