Staff were all lovely, cheerful and chatty. We had never been to a Toby carvery before and were very pleasantly surprised. The meat selection was excellent and cooked perfectly. The meal was very good value for money as well. We would definitely recommend and plan to return in the near future. Only improvement would be the venue itself, it is getting a little bit tired and could do with redecoration.

I came here with my children, it was very welcoming, they have highchairs for small children and a good menu selection of food and drinks for adults and kids. We all had a roast dinner which was not only delicious but very filling, the yorkshire puddings were huge, the roast potatoes were perfect, the mash was very tasty, we all had carrots, runner beans and peas with turkey, and ate it all. For dessert we had a mixture of chocolate brownie with custard and fudge cake, which were both equally delicious, the brownie was hot and very tasty and the fudge cake was yum. I love chocolate so this was a hit with me and my kids. The place was clean, tidy, had plastic windows to separate people sat down eating, the toilets were clean, fresh. This really is worth visiting. Everyone was polite, friendly and very helpful.

Although it was Father's day it was really well organised and relaxed here. Angie our waitress was so lovely and attentive, drinks sorted on arrival, order for food acknowledged, bill brought at the end without us having to sit waiting around.... brilliant service. Find was cooked to perfection really tasty Sunday roast. Our server at the meat counter was efficient but didn't hurry you as you chose your food. Nicest Toby in the Bournemouth area and we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Annie, the waitress, is always positive, friendly, smiling. She did her utmost to use my free drink voucher after we had paid, which I should have presented during the meal (but my wife was paying, including my ale, as a treat so I didn't ask until after). Annie had served us well throughout, transaction paid, but she was prepared to try to help me after we'd finished. The equipment would not allow this action, but she tried her best and is always a treat to my wife and me. Chef serving was an improvement on some we have experienced, so that too is a bonus, a friendly team

I was a little disappointed on this visit. The food was plentiful but lacked flavour. The cauliflower cheese was watery and both that and the macaroni cheese had little flavour. The roast potatoes looked crispy but weren't and the carrots had no flavour. We are vegetarian so I can't comment on the meat. I have eaten here before, albeit a very long time ago, and it always lived up to expectations until now. The servers seemed to spend more time chatting to each other than anything else. We were shown to a table by one girl, told she would be back in a minute and then ignored despite requesting drinks. Then the very lovely Anne stepped in and couldn't have been more helpful. It was busy so clearly popular, however, I will choose a different Toby Carvery for my next visit.

Service was great, seated straight away even though we were early, served very quickly and our server Ellie was fantastic, she was very friendly. No waiting for food which was also great. All in all a very enjoyable experience
