If you haven't tried the truffle arrancini, you should; the chef is brilliant! He's a nice vibe, one of the few places in Brighton you can actually dress for. Good selection of cocktails, too.

Was a last minute look for a place to eat. Saw bohemia and it had room for us on a Sunday. The place is like a tardis. Very nicely designed and comfortable. We sat down had a drink. The cocktails looked amazing. Ordered Sunday lunch and it was really good. Only thing I would say was it took a long time to get the food. But it was a nice meal in good company. Will be going back.

You cannot go to Brighton without having classic fish and chips… but I didn’t imagine having them in this little gem of a place. Beautifully located hidden in the lanes with a vibrant atmosphere. We asked if the chef could give us truffle chips (which are also on the menu) and it really hit the spot! What made our evening even more fun and memorable was our fantastic server, Toma… quite the character with her vogue like hand gestures made it a simply wonderful five star experience for both myself and my teenage son who will be going to study there. You can be sure Bohemia will be seeing a lot more of us in the near future! Thanks to Toma!

Very cool place. Really well dressed up. Food was nice, if s little over the top! My wife's breakfast was swimming in sauce and I had so much salmon it was hard to finish, but you can't complain to much about that right!? Service was good. We sat outside which was not an issue. The vibe here is incredible, really funky interior and tasty drinks. My only problem is that they were short staffed, leading them to be a bit all over the place and it's also quite pricey. But if you're wanting fancy drinks in Brighton this is perfect!

What an amazing place. Immediately impressed with just how smart and attractive the staff were as we walked in. The intention was just to have breakfast but suddenly it was where my partner decided to propose. The waiter was so accommodating and intent on ensuring that we had a great experience... and we did. The food was fabulous and filling. The prices were really good and value excellent. The atmosphere was terrific too. An excellent 5 star experience. We simply requested the waiter to take a photo of us proposing and he kindly offered us both a complimentary glass of bubbly. Nice touch. Someone on Trip Advisor wrote: Brighton's Little Gem and I couldn't agree more.

We came across Bohemia by chance as we had walked out of a nearby restaurant due to terrible service and cleanliness. I'm so glad we did! Fantastic cocktails. They are a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. The staff was the sweetest and looked after us very well. The portions are generous, tasty and inexpensive for what you're being served. Went there for our anniversary and will definitely be going back there again. The jazz setting is really original and is seen throughout the restaurant (even the bathrooms!). I can't wait to go there again!

Incredibly lively and funky venue which offers incredible cocktails. It's essential to get your dlfirst drink poured in a glass resting over a glass of dry ice. Atmosphere and music was fun, in terms of nightlife in Brighton, this a must-see for tourists.

This has been one of the most perfect food experience I had, and I'm Italian. The food is amazing and you can literally feel the quality of the ingredients (supplied by Italian providers by the way), that made me feel really at home, just saying. Service is brilliant and people there are beyond kind, never waited a second more or had questions not answered/problem not solved straight away. For my music taste (retro/jazz), the evening was lovely, and the atmosphere in general was beautiful and chilled. Unfortunately we didn't order cocktails (that is what they're specialised in) but I spied on other tables and they looked fantastic! I won't miss out next time :) Very well decorated and beautiful location, different floors for any occasion, all with bars and nice furnishings, right in the city center and easy to reach, I am definitely coming back here in my next visit to Brighton!

Very nice and cosy place, great cocktails and service. I was just a bit disappointed with the Sunday roast as I love meat, I went for the option to try 2 types of meat and what I got was a thin piece of pork and half a chicken breast, plenty of veg though. I do need to say they decided to charge for a normal portion.

Had Sunday roast which was really nice and reasonably priced, the cocktails were very good borderline excellent, the two waitresses that served us were outstanding you could tell they were understaffed but the girls were so helpful friendly and welcoming a credit to the establishment, so we had a walk round the town and went back for a second visit.

The food, atmosphere and cocktails where amazing. Went with some friends and the atmosphere is the first thing you notice a very sheek place which takes you out of the UK and into Germany. The food as well was absolutely delicious with a good amount of choice, something for everyone. Presentation of their cocktails is also superb and they where good. The only downside to this place ultimately was the service, asking us to leave soon due to the que. Other than that great place and all the ordering is done online, so covid friendly.

Great find! Had sunday roast - beef - and it was gorgeous, lots of fresh veg, roasties, lovely gravy, homemade horseradish sauce, generous amount of beef, I asked for pink, and thats what I got! and a cute little Yorkshire pud. All at a great price. Drinks however are, imo, very expensive. We had a bottle of house red (a merlot) and a cider. Cocktails look amazing, but I didn't want to pay Brighton prices for an espresso martini :-) Background music was great, old jazzy, bluesy, relaxing. No screens showing sport here!!! There is level access, and a disabled access toilet tucked in by the Gents, with radar key lock. Outside seating available but we wanted inside. There is a big main floor area with a central oval bar, then 3 separate mezzanine levels and a slightly sunken one to the side. Decor is bohemian:-) eclectic mix including bits of ironwork rescued from the old West Pier. Nice staff, lovely peaceful atmosphere, but I believe it comes alive with music on weekend nights- there was a sign warning that 'smoke machine and strobe lights are in use at weekends' :-) We liked it a lot

Fruit flies everywhere, drink spilt on my leg, wrong drinks brought to table twice. For the price tag, a reasonable level of service is expected which we didn't get. The food is fun portions are large, but nothing mind-blowing.

Decor is stunning, staff really friendly and helpful. However, food, although prettily presented, was in small portions, especially for the price, and somewhat tasteless. Given I went there to eat, this was a bit of a let down. But if you're going with a special friend, it does have a special feel, and the presentation of the food is possibly more important than the taste in that case, because it does feel like an occasional place (without any snarky connotations!). Looks like the night life probably hums along nicely too.

One of the best places I have ever eaten. Brilliant, cosy, late night atmosphere with jazzy Christmas music playing. Covid secure. Nice lighting, amazing staff. The food was to die for. Can't wait to go back!

Loved the building and decor. Cocktail was fine but being a beer man I always feel i get better value for money with a pint. Anyhow, if this is your thing, then the drinks are good and the guys behind the bar seem to love what they do (can get very showbiz or like a science experiment). For fans of retro gaming they have space invader tables.

I booked Bohemia for my partners birthday and I could not recommend it enough! The staff were amazing, really friendly and great service. The food was incredible (and I’m really fussy)! I would recommend getting the Pornstar martini, it comes out with dry ice and that made the experience even more exciting. If you get the chance, definitely go here.

Gets busy! Service is generally quite quick. Impressive cocktails. They make quite a show of making them and the espresso martinis are exceptional. Brilliant effects with dry ice. Good atmosphere. We managed to get a seat, but it’s pretty hit and miss whether you’ll get a table at busier times.

We had a private function for a work do. The management and staff were easy to deal with from the beginning - perfect communication. They took note of all requests we had and made our night great. We had the use of Late Lounge and rooftop terrace. Buffet food was fresh and delicious. Our barman Justin was very attentive, made sure our drinks were topped up and also made amazing cocktails. An absolute Gem we stumbled upon, I would score it higher if possible. Staff where friendly, funny and helpful. The cocktails are the best I've found in Brighton with perfect showmanship to match. We stayed for dinner, I had anticipated we may have found the Bohemian's achilles heel, however, the food was outstanding. If in Brighten again I would spend a lazy afternoon there listening to the swing music and enjoying the ambience. Highlights recommend.

If we could give more stars we would. Our visits to Bohemia, the service, the atmosphere and the food had always been so good that we decided to book our wedding reception here, which is not something they have done a lot of. Paulo and Lucas made it all very easy for us during the build up and on the day. We hired the Late Lounge which catered to our party perfectly, and it has to be said that the lady behind the bar (ashamed that we have forgotten her name) was beyond incredible. She not only had fun with all of us and made the kids their own individual mocktails but she could not have gone more out of her way to make our day more fun. We will definitely be back for more breakfasts and sunday lunches as they're our favourites, but we really wanted to thank you all again for making every part of our day more enjoyable.

We went at a quiet time, only two or three other people there, so the atmosphere was not at its peak, however, we could tell straight away this was a great place, full of character. The large central bar served amazing cocktails, prepared by a true professional ! The music was great big band American music from the 1950's via a very good sound system. We also had the opportunity to relive the past by playing on a table top space invaders/paceman vintage game machine. The cocktails were expensive, but they can last a long time, and they were truly unique. I would go back.

A surprisingly good little cocktail bar tucked-away in the Lanes. Bartenders with a decent knowledge of their booze, and an unusual island bar with no backbar; it's all suspended above the bar itself. Not too crowded in the evenings, so there's usually room either at the bar or at one of the tables. Definitely worth a visit.

Regular at this venue, top bar DJ playing old school rap and Rnb was outstanding, take a bow. The main room DJ reminded me of a wedding dj, and seemed more interested in talking to female patrons than the music he was playing, missed a number of queues and dropped the beat a lot (not the regular dj if memory serves) The drinks were well priced and entry is not a fortune. If the DJ had been better in the main room this would have been 5 stars, but the main room dj policy is a concern...

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat in Brighton's Lanes area, and stumbled across this place. We were made welcome (it was early evening, I don't know what it is like later) and had a very pleasant meal that was fairly good value for what we had, I had a mixed grill (one of the day's specials) which was three skewers with beef, chicken and khofte, My wife had a sort of salmon fish cake. Both of us were quite happy with our food, it was beautifully cooked and presented. The Amstel beer went down well. I can safely say that were were lucky to find the place. NB: Added bonus; the Bohemia website has background music from Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald performing "Summertime"; absolutely gorgeous.

Bartenders with a decent knowledge of their booze, and an unusual island bar with no backbar; it's all suspended above the bar itself. Not too crowded in the evenings, so there's usually room either at the bar or at one of the tables. Definitely worth a visit.
