Just came for lunch, didn't realise it was a chain or a club. Nice vibe, some of the tables are very wobbly but the food and drinks came fast. I had issues connecting to the wi-fi to download the app to order but it may have been my phone and somebody came to the table to take our order very quickly anyway. I like the pint glasses and the menu has a decent number of vegetarian options. The tomato ketchup on the table is vile though! Soz I only took the photo after I'd started.

The music selection is very good, since you can choose what you feel like through the different rooms. However, the organisation of the jacket drop-off is a bit chaotic. Otherwise, it's a very nice establishment with clean toilets.

Whilst visiting friends we were let down on a bottomless brunch at las iguana, and came last minute to revs and Molly helped us out! Preduence/Creduende gave an amazing service and made sure the drinks were flowing and made lots of conversation!

Great big bar with a wide selection of food and drinks available! It has a sheesha bar right behind too which makes it even more appealing. I drank a lot of their grenades which were cheap but the drinks didn’t taste like they had much alcohol in it. The service was extremely slow and they were really understaffed which led to the 3*. They currently have a 50% off main food offer if you get the app which makes the food a total steal! The pizza and WTF wings are great for shareables.

I went to Brighton last weekend for a hen do weekender and our first night was spent in Revolution. The staff went above and beyond to make our night great, one of the hens is heavily pregnant and they made sure we had a table and seating area for her to use. There was a bouncer at the front door named Matt who was lovely and so helpful. Really professional staff and welcoming. THE DJ MUSIC WAS AMAZING! Thanks guys

Good garden, nice atmos. Staff are really over worked and the service is awful. Often 20+ mins wait even when it's empty! They need more staff clearly the employees are stressed and the service as a result is cold. I do have to say the porn star martinis are lovely and good on the 241.

Interesting place. On entering you're faced with old furniture and a glass cabinet display that makes it seem more like an antiques shop. There's also strange touches like an old porcelain bath in the middle of the floor. I came at 4:30pm during the week. There were no food menus but sauces and cutlery on each table so presumably they do food at some point. The cocktail menu is very large. As is common in these places though the amount of alcohol is not shown unless it's 0%. This usually means that the alcohol content is low to keep costs down but it could be the exception. Free wi-fi is available ~2.5Mb down ~1Mb up in a nearly empty bar. There is no wheelchair accessibility as there are steps up to the front door. (EDIT: In case you don't read the reply to this review there apparently IS wheelchair accessibility to the bar at the side of the building)

I always try to visit a Revolution bar when there is one nearby. Visited this one late afternoon about 1500. Was greeted by a very friendly bar maid who made us very welcome. Ordered cocktails at the bar and the same barmaid brought the drinks to the table. We followed that shortly with a rack of flavoured shots. Drinks are great value especially the shots with their Revolution card. The bar was clean and tidy. Would recommend this place

Popular bar located in a great central location. We had to pay £5 to get in, which seems odd for a bar, but it was a fun atmosphere inside and we think it was worth it. Very busy and lively. Lots of shots to choose from at pretty reasonable prices.

Slightly belated but I've been meaning to write this! We came in for a masterclass on Saturday. From the moment we came in Isaac was so professional. Despite the fact that the agency had told us a different starting time he was so accommodating making sure we got the full experience. I can't sing his praises enough and want to thank him for making my birthday extra special.

The best place to enjoy Sundays. Cheep and cool place. They have few floor. Downstairs Sundays they do salsa lessons too. Nice terrace. Nice place with best hits to enjoy with your friends. During the week is good too and the food is OK. I haven't tried to much but I like it. I use to go Sundays nights.

This was one of the venues booked for my daughter's hen party last weekend. Fantastic experience, the two lads behind the bar made the experience such fun. Everyone had a chance to make cocktails behind the bar, so much drink flowing, laughter all round. No rushing, in fact had more time there than we was told when booking.A real highlight from the weekend. If you only book one thing for a hen party, book this, you will not regret it. With the caveat that I was there during Covid restrictions with a 10pm curfew... The venue has had many incarnations over the years and is now part of the Revolution chain. They have an old pop playlist that's loud enough without being intrusive supported by a lively and happy clientele given to singing along with gusto. There's a substantial outdoor seated area for the smokers which is walled in, so not well ventilated should you venture out there with a nicotine fiend. The menu is adequately diverse pub grub doing the gastro thing with the usual miniature burgers and tiny portion of fries in a cup but they do a rack of ribs and large plates of chicken wings. In the real world, when we're all aloud back out, I expect this would be a very busy and lively pre-club bar.

Good atmosphere for a night out if you're not wanting a full clubbing experience but not just an average bar. Lovely cocktails and selection of vodka. It gets very rammed however and is usually full of large groups so if you're a small few maybe avoid it later on in the evenings.

My best friend held her wedding reception here. While I can't attest to how they were in the run up to the evening, dealing with me as maid of honour on the night, they were amazing. The staff bent over backwards to help us, they made sure to find out who was in charge once the bride and groom had disappeared, and they were always on hand through out the night if we needed anything. I didn't catch anyone's name unfortunately, but the guy we had downstairs on the bar was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he coped very well with a busy bar, and kept an eye on everyone who was drinking and making sure they were also drinking water which put my mind at ease. Also, the lady looking after us was amazing. She was friendly, approachable and very happy to make sure we had everything we needed. She kept popping in to see if I needed anything, and made sure to let me know she was around if I needed anything at all. Considering it was a busy Saturday night in Brighton, I feel we were looked after really well. There could have been a few hiccups to start with but every thing was dealt with quickly and efficiently, and every one I dealt with did a brilliant job!

Loved this place!! I attended a hen do last night. we booked at revolution bar for a set 'party' meal and the Cocktail making class. The food we had at the meal was so delicious. We all got our 1 free drink from downloading their app. And the other offers on the app are really good. The drinks in revolution were lovely! Their homemade alcoholic drinks are so nice. Their shots and cocktail selection is amazing. And the prices were very fair for brighton. Not too expensive at all. The outdoor area was so pretty, with such a lovely atmosphere. The cocktail making class was held downstairs, and we all had so much fun, Carlos did it perfectly. He put up with 12 of us (very jolly) girls and had such a laugh with us. We also learned alot from him about cocktails and how to make them - Whilst the drinks were still generously flowing. When we first booked to go to Rev we thought we'd just stay there until the cocktail making class then head off to some other clubs. But we didn't need to revolution had it all covered. We had lovely seating areas whereever we went. Downstairs, groundfloor and outside. The atmosphere all night was safe and fun. Everyone working was lovely. The whole place was very clean and I loved all the decor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brighton. Weather its just for daytime food. Bar drinking. Shisha lounge. Or for a club vibe, dance in the evening with great music! I will definitely be going back to revolution. Thankyou to all the staff who worked Saturday, you all did an awesome job.

It's ok. Bit rowdy on Friday nights. Came here for a event with colleagues, could have been better. Service was a bit poor, but that's to be expected at the time we were there. Not the best place to go out in Brighton, but definitely not the worst.

I visited a couple of times before commenting as I'm not really the demographic this chain of bars is aimed at; I'm too old. The Brighton location is very central and in the heart of the night scene here. It's spacious and well maintained in a shabby chic style. There's a wide range of cocktails available and a similar range of tap beers and lagers. The staff are friendly if a little disengaged from putting customers first and it can take a little while before you're served. I had a pleasant American IPA but after drinking about a third of it I noticed a thick crust of lipstick on the rim of the glass and was disappointed this hadn't been checked when pouring the drink. I haven't eaten there but the menu seemed fairly typical pub chain fare with a burger theme at reasonable prices. All in all it's an OK atmosphere but didn't really float my boat.

I was here at 4pm on a Tuesday for a late lunch. As you'd expect, the place was pretty empty, there were 6-7 people including me. Service was prompt and friendly. Took my drink order and food order when he brought over the drink. I had the buttermilk chicken starter which was very nice, the chicken was moist, not dry. The steak was nicely cooked but I think it came from a cow that had died of old age. It was fairly tasty but tough as an old boot.

Just been in to Brighton revolutions and enjoyed some delicious cocktails and a bite to eat with some friends. I was greeted by a young lady who took me to a table and gave us the drinks and food menu and even suggested some options. We opted for the fish and chips and one of your espresso martinis! Honestly it was delightful, we were even offered a half price revolutions card which saved us some money. Just before we finished our meal a lovely lady called Leah (I think) came over to check everything was ok and even got my friend behind the bar shaking some cocktails as it is her birthday. Honestly we were made to feel so special and it made my friends Birthday. Thank you so much to you all x

Always pop in to this bar when we take a break usually on a Monday or Tuesday. Excellent food deals good staff and great music open mic night on Tuesdays. I originally gave this place a 5 star review but I have dropped it as the chicken portion size is down to a 3rd of its original size, for the 1st time ever I felt ripped off in a revolution bar. Staff were still very good but they have ditched the open mic night what a shame.

By far the best bar in Brighton! There is always a great atmosphere on the rare occasion there is trouble the door staff & staff are straight on it and resolve the situation quickly. The bar staff are all lovely! Never had a bad experience with anyone who works here! Love the fact you have so many areas to choose from! The court yard is lovely and the shisha is amazing!! I don't have a bad word to say about Revolution! Even the drinks & food are incredible!

Went for a work night out tonight. A bit of private cocktail making with Carlos who was excellent, being friendly, engaging and sooo knowledgable. As a diabetic cocktails can be "interesting" (sugar in case you wandered why) normally settling with a beer or maybe a few, Carlos looked after me and I still got a couple of decent drinks and had a great time, Carlos took it from a 4 star to a 5, thanks buddy 👍🏻 Good venue down near the sea which is always pleasant for a night out.

Bit of a disaster Arrived with a Groupon on my phone as wanted to take my brother in law, his kids and my daughter out for a spot of lunch on When we attempted to pay there was a drama accepting my code with the food and drinks we ordered. Resolved in the end but embarrassing it was This was after waiting 40 minutes for two pizzas, not to forget that finally my 'mojito' that was ordereded over 30 minutes before arrived approximately 5 minutes before the pizzas. Not sure if I would go again as the customer service received was all very disappointing

A very nice venue a stone's throw from the beach . . Helpful door staff and very reasonable entry price . . There are 2 rooms of music - one upstairs, and one downstairs. . Upstairs perhaps slightly more relaxed, whereas downstairs is a good 'party sweatbox' Both rooms play an above average mix of urban music . . everything from garage classics to totally contemporary r'n'b, all lapped up by an 'up for it' crowd . Respect to the DJ's !! Good mix of clubbers too in terms of ethnicity and age . . Generally a very good vibe about the place . . Also notable is the very large chill-out / smoking area at the back - refreshingly cool after the heat of the dancefloors . . For a good night out I'd certainly recommend this place .

It's a Revs, so you know what you're getting, whether you're in Brighton or in Cheltenham. The best part about this Revs is the outdoor space, plenty of seating, spaced out, not right on top of everyone else, an outside bar, covered seating if it rains...you don't pay over the odds for your drinks and the service 'ain't' too bad. We haven't eaten here but the food looked OK.
