The music is the best if you like rock from the last 30 years or so, the beers always taste fresh, the dodo pizza deal is a bargain (especially for vegan cheese), the bar attendants are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is fun to look at.

A lovely steampunk themed bar with friendly staff and an great selection of beers and spirits. The rums are particularly good! Just far enough away from the sea front to be mostly locals, so you'll probably have a nice quiet evening with a few people good folk around.

To be honest the atmosphere wasn't great. It very much felt like a cliquey bar where only the locals are recognized. It was hard to tell the staff from the customers as there was not really any continuity (people walking around aimlessly). Was it table service? bar service? who knows. We didn't bother to get drinks in the end and left. When I went a couple of years ago they had some good cocktails and the theme itself is very inspiring so I was a little disappointed.

I love the decor, drinks selection, & artists who perform here. It's a great little steampunk themed bar that also serves hot drinks too. Everyone is friendly & its situated in a great location. Can be a bit quiet during the day, & there's space to sit outside .

I love this quirky little steam punk bar! They serve alcoholic drinks and a selection on teas and coffee. They have a great art installation in the floor at the end of the bar, and can even make fresh crisps for you!

Lovely atmosphere, especially if you're into Steampunk. The staff is very friendly, and happy to be flexible for your needs. Yellow Book doesn't do their own food, but they have a policy of letting you bring in take away food, and will even give you plates and cutlery, and a recommendations list to help you choose a takeaway. A great drinks selection, although some felt a touch expensive (willing to forgive this though). Could definitely recommend.

This pub is absolutely lovely I definitely recommend trying the honeymead! Bar staff is super friendly and as disabled person I can definitely tell you that this place is very accessible. There is a massive disabled toilet out the back and a big open area at the front if you are a smoker. Also the disabled toilet is super fancy, probably the most goth disabled toilet I have ever been in YAY ♡

Friendly and chilled vibe. Steampunk decor, playing alternative music. Cocktails are superb and beer selection is decent. They have a vast selection of mead and make a good coffee too. They have good disabled access, suitable for wheelchair users, which is rare for Brighton.
