At BARBIE we love the amazing selection of independent restaurants & bars that we have here in Bristol. If you are looking for cocktails on Whiteladies road then Flipside Cocktail Club is a must! Not only is it a truly independent business but the cocktail list & back bar are extensive, the staff are super nice and the music is spot on. Flipside made it super easy to book for 20 of us. We enjoyed the outside space as lots of room and heaters. Had fantastic burgers courtesy of the resident pop up kitchen. All in all a great night.

Popped into this place with a couple of mates on the way to town, was served by a really friendly waiter, and the cocktails and glassware were some of the best I've had in Bristol. Prices were fair and reasonable and the garden with heaters is a really cosy spot, perfect for the winter. Flipside feels like the gentleman's Clifton of old, rather than the more modern pretentious Clifton feel, and I'll definitely be back for more rum cocktails in the coming months! Thanks guys!

Not sure how this place has any bad reviews… it’s one of very few places you can still go and just enjoy decent drinks without pompous tw@s doing nothing but take selfies. Cocktails are on point and the staff were great, happy and bouncing about loving their jobs. We quickly worked out to order our drinks shortly after having ones bought to the table this kept a steady flow going for us. Keep up the good work guys!

Went as a stag do to take part in a cocktail making session and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience and all talked about it afterwards as the most entertaining activity we did for the weekend. It was a really good group session. Everyone gets 4 cocktails each and each member of the group was given the opportunity to make a couple of drinks. For the price, it's fantastic value and the 2 and a half hours flew by. By the end we were all well on the way to getting quite merry and the extras the stag receives definitely set me on my way... What we were shown and made were premium cocktails as well, so not any old cheap generic drink you could get anywhere. Here the quality is of real importance and is a passion of theirs. Andy the host with his JLS mug was thoroughly engaging, knowledgeable and fun. We all learnt a lot including why bartenders pack your drinks with ice and we learnt of the benefits of buying the higher quality products such as having a good tequila means you don't need to fill your mouth with salt and lime to make it palatable. Really good time - even mostly distracted a couple of Villa fans in the group from celebrating a rare win

Great music, never wait more than 3-5 mins for a drink, unreal selection and to top it off the staff are friendly and always make you feel very welcome. Fantastic experience last night for our first night out after lockdown. The safety systems set up for Covid are well thought out and a smooth experience from start to finish. From booking online (very simple) to being greeted by the host and shown to the table it felt incredibly reassuring that the team on site had safety in mind whilst maintaining a great atmosphere. The tables are well spaced with a plethora of heaters available and all of our group felt comfortable. The team working were brilliant and the service was quick. The beers available were locally sourced and absolutely gorgeous (Moor, lost & grounded, fierce & noble and Arbor all available on draught). Thank you for an awesome first night out, it properly put us at ease! Can't wait to go back!

Our host, Sam, was absolutely incredible and gave us the most amazing experience possible. We laughed a lot, drank plenty, and had an amazing time. Fantastic cocktails for a work social! We were in the middle of planning another cocktail making evening at FCC before coronavirus threw off all of our plans. Luckily Flipside have launched cocktails to you, their cocktail delivery service. The team at Flipside whipped up around 40 cocktails for our team event and they went down amazing. All luscious cocktails all with garnishes on the side - mint leaves, coffee beans, pineapple chunks, orange peel - the lot! The cocktails were just as good as the ones we've had in Flipside. Brilliant work guys!

Great spot for a drink. Large amount of cocktails to choose from. Not cheap but nor ridiculous either. Best bit if you are a cave man like me then they have a nice beer in tap. Only reason it is a 4 star is that as the driver of the night there was no coffee available. Saying that the staff where quite busy mixing cocktails with out having to make coffee too!

Went in on a Wednesday night and was greeted with a warm welcome, some old school hip hop on which turned to Stormzy as it got a bit busier. Best cocktail bar in Bristol! I had my birthday party here a few weeks ago. I hired the upstairs area which was perfect, as we had our own area but still enjoyed the party atmosphere in the main bar. Great music from the dj, everybody was up and dancing. And the cocktails were fantastic. This is a great party bar, definitely the best on Whiteladies Road, Clifton and actually Bristol.

Flipside Cocktail club is one of the most stylish places in Bristol. With it's stunning decor it was the obvious choice for me to film one of my youtube videos. I wanted something which looked great and had the perfect atmosphere. The bar is stacked with a great range of drinks neatly presented and their cocktails are among the best I've ever tried - there are some really creative ones going on here, ones served only in this venue. Bar Staff are real professionals, they are friendly, know their drinks and are just so accomodating, and every cocktail they made, they did it with a perfection and a real desire to please the customer. They are upbeat and really set a high standard in Bar Service. I think the place is amazing, go there and you will see why!!!

We came for a coctail making session as part of a hen weekend. It was FANTASTIC! The staff were brilliant; they were exceptionally knowledgeable about their trade, explaining the background behind all of the drinks that we made in a way which was both informative and amusing. They really couldn't have been any more accomodating of our group, making sure they catered for different dietary needs and making sure that ingredients were suitably vegetarian-friendly (for an EXTREMELY strict vegetarian member of the party). Andy heads up a team of passionate and knowledgeable staff, the drinks are fabulous and with such an extensive menu you will always find something you like. We visit Flipside for after-work drinks, group nights out, special occasions such as NYE, and have even attended a cocktail making class which represented excellent value for money. There are regular events with banging DJs and also visits from global ambassadors for drinks brands so not only will you learn something, you can have fun (and get drunk) doing it too. RESULT. Flipside is my go to when on a night out in Bristol. The cocktails are supreme, with snazzy twists on regular favourites and true to form traditional offerings to boot. The make a mean Mint Julep and the party vibe always makes you feel like you're having a fun time. Not one to be missed for any Bristol visitors, or locals alike.
