J. S.Great vibes. Haven’t been to a gig there, I’m mostly just there for the pub part. Wish they were open way more often. They have a better beer selection than their garden area across the street. Though would love more APA / West Coast IPA selections, as there were lots of hazy NEIPAs. Staff was friendly. They partner with Ray’s pizza which is great!

C.A guy pulled my sunglasses off me repeatedly and dragged a bit of my hair, attempted to rip my friends cowboy hat off and then another girl came up to us and told us he did the same thing to her! It was horrible and felt like bullying, was really upsetting we just wanted to enjoy our night and some guy was trying to degrade us. I told the security guards and straight away he said show me where he is and took him off the dance floor and escorted him out. I want to say a massive thank you to the security guard tonight, I enjoyed the rest of my night thankfully to this and I am so pleased he supported me and took care of us. The guy was twice my size so thank you to the security guard, he made us feel protected! Good knows what else he could of done xxx
l. j.Went to see the gürl band play here and it was so amazing! Awesome venue, great vibes + atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, and very friendly staff. Also, my boyfriend had a vegan pizza and he loved it. So great to go to gigs at venues like this again with Covid restrictions being lifted!

C. K.Great venue! Excellent sound from house engineer. Toilet door does not lock. Why oh god not fix it?? It's not cool when you're a touring band dying to drop logs. Good pizza though! Late night DJ was a ball ache was rushed off stage after our set. Kill the DJ and fix your toilet and I'll give you 5 stars. Great place though.

S. V.Great strong cider for a decent price. Really busy most days (best days to go are probably Tuesday or Thursday). Toilet is absolutely grim but if you're a guy that doesn't matter too much. Really nice interior which has an authentic pub feel.

L. B.Nice, quirky space with a focus on beer which is good but sometimes doesn't quite live up to how it looks in terms of the selection. This place puts on great music nights though which are often free and it's always buzzing. On big nights it'll be pretty rammed but the venue can cope with it and the place is definitely conducive to a great time, being a kind of well blended pub/club type venue.
P. B.Really great bar with a huge selection of local beers, I especially enjoyed some of the beers by Good Chemistry. Lots of space inside and staff were nice and friendly. Hand dryer in the toilets appeared to be possessed but wasn't really an issue. Looks a bit rough from the outside but don't let that bother you.
P. S.Nice enough place with reasonably priced drinks. Visited during a record sales event and there was hardly anywhere to sit and got told off for putting drink down near records. Overall pleasant but management needs to improve managing different roles of venue.
L. M.Great selection of local beers and ciders that seems to change semi-regularly. The price of a pint is a little higher than the high street but, sadly, that comes as standard when buying a pint made with some degree of love. The atmosphere is chill in the daytime and excited to rowdy-af at night, depending on the day and the event, if any, happening in the back room (there is some great music out on in there, keep an ear to the ground!)
o. e.Some nice beers but not as much choice as I first thought. Nice prices, food menu looked great, variety of seating and very spacious. The gig was really intimate and the sound was top.

B. H.Very large beer selection. There's some reasonably priced gems in the list too which is nice. We ordered a pizza from the shop next door, when it arrived it was very nice but it took almost 2 hours to be cooked. They gave us 80% off but it was still an annoying experience.

Really skanky toilets though. With the amount of traffic in there, I think there must be enough money to spruce them you a bit.

S. G.Really decent pub. The selection of beers was really good, with some good local and national beers. We went on a Saturday night and they had a dj on in the back room. It was house music and the dj was so so. They did try and charge us a 5er per person, after letting in our friend, who was in a wheelchair, then asking who was paying for her. Managed to get 9 of us in for 25 but still don't think it's the kind of place that should be charging for entry.

c. m.Once a proud live music venue. Then a decent ale bar with a huge selection of ales on keg. Now late night venue with a smaller ale selection, and occasional good DJs. Not much else going for it.
R. D.Decent selection of ciders but it's let down by the poor layout and serious lack of seats. Expect to wait a long time for drinks on busy nights and having the stage the other side of the bar in the current layout just means pushing through people to get anywhere.
P. W.Beer list is impeccable and much better value the those on King St. Plenty of seating and there is always some crazy event going in here. We rolled in an there was a storey telling club in the back room packed out. Love it and open late.

They have a very, very passionate pizza chef who has worked tirelessly to source ingredients to make his pizza special - he's done that and to me it makes it the best pizza in the city.

D. I.Having taken over the music venue 'the croft' - The Crofters Rights offers a great selection of beers, with a whole wall of taps to choose from. Most of the beer on offer is pretty hard to find anywhere else around Bristol. The interior of the Crofters takes some getting used to. Treading a thin line between exposed and quirky and just plain unfinished. Food has recently been added to the proceedings with kitchen space for pop up food stalls to occupy so keep an eye on Twitter to find out what is going on when.
Hopefully the Crofters will evolve over time, it already has a good base of customers and beyond anything else is definitely worth a visit for the beer alone.
