If you catch an episode of The Sweeney on ITV4 and see a pub in it, that is what this place is like... and the prices are similar too. Cheap as chips, spit and sawdust pub but friendly as you like. Would I go again? Damn right!

The landlady is really nice and welcoming the pub is not much to look at but the welcome is friendly they do great drinks.and best of all when you get your drinks you will feel like you've gone back in time try it and find out your self pity it's only got 5 stars cus I would give it a 10 out of 10

Wonderful cheese rolls and atmosphere at top end of bar was educational and civalised as always, much better than in the lounge area where all the riff raff hang out. :-)
