Reviews of The Gallimaufry
C.
Doesn’t look like a restaurant from the outside - and I’m sure it’s a fun music venue later on - but 5 of us chose here for dinner as we were looking for a good GF menu. Had a lovely dinner. Eclectic but tasty menu, with friendly & efficient service.
k. m.
Had dinner here with friends. As the website was under construction I asked for the menu to be sent which they said they would, but they didn't, despite asking twice. It was a very limited selection of mains, and it was far too dark, we could hardly see either the menu or the meal itself. I had the aranciini, they were rather stodgy, and overpriced. Good service, but wouldn't really recommend eating here, OK for a drink.
A. G.
The decor is a bit anonymous or maybe it was just my impression as there were no tables inside, but a part from that, food is excellent. One of the best pork belly I ever had 😋
Thank you, I’ll definitely be back
A. M.
Such a nice place to grab a drink or to watch the world go by. Music's varied and always good. Brilliant fay or night! One of Glos Rds finest establishments.
A. W.
Food over priced and a bit lack lustre. Toilets were damp and in need of maintenance. Great place to sit outside when it's sunny and staff are great.
J. M.
The food is amazing, creative, quality updates on some classic menu options.
We visited on a busy Saturday for lunch, service was quick and it was the best fish finger sandwich and omelette I’ve ever had.
The drink choice is vast! So many niche spirits, local beers and ciders to choose and all very reasonably priced.
There is an outside terrace on the front to enjoy the buzz of Gloucester Road, this is set back though so you’re not on the busy road.
This was a long awaited first visit that didn’t disappoint and we’re looking forward to visiting again.
A rare lunch minus child, but worth noting it’s family friendly. Lots of tables and dining spaces. The live music lineup looks fab too.
T. C.
Love this place. Amazing food, great art, fun buzz and live music.
C. W.
Had a few cocktails here last year and they wernt great. Gave it another try today based on the food reviews and what a roast dinner. Pork belly and whole dinner was absolutely superb. Had quite a few roasts in Bristol lately and this was up there with the best I've had. Nice to see they have a decent barman in who makes a great margarita too 👌👌👌
D. B.
Food was brilliant. I had chicken wrap. Amazing. Service was brill. Even small hiccup over mayo was dealt with brilliantly and professionally. Decor in place is awesome. So vibrant and colourful. Definitely would go again.

I booked a large table for a sort of reunion pne Sunday lunch. The booking process was a bit convoluted and even though we provided a pre-booking of our food it still took the best part of an hour to come. Saying that, the staff were really attentive and friendly and the food was AWESOME.
J. E.
The welcome seemed a bit aggressive - our request for a table for two was immediately met with an unsmiling "For food?" When we nodded we were told they would get a table ready, and ordered us meanwhile to get a drink from the bar!
The menu was interesting, but the food was disappointing. The potatoes seemed like they had been microwaved one time too many, and the vegan "Wellington" was overcooked.
I won't be going there again. Cost for 2 including soft drinks was £40. I did not leave a tip.
K. G.
Simply sublime. Birthday lunch at the Gallimufry, the best Sunday roast ever.
Can't wait to go back.
N. W.
One of my favourite bars)restaurants on Bristol.
A really great selection of beer and wonderful live music and open mic nights. Food to die for that goes far beyond normal pub grub. A huge selection of interesting small plates and great veggie and vegan options. Outdoor heated smoking/porch area too.
B. C.
Great venue. Always top quality bands and artists. Best in Bristol 👊
T. S.
Wish we'd been sooner. Had to wait awhile for the food but we ordered starters before our mains so we didn't mind. Everything was ordered on via QR code which was very easy. The portion sizes and quality of ingredients was outstanding. Loved the selection of beers and cocktails. We'll definitely be back soon.
J. B.
Great staff. Great food. Great music. Truly encompasses the vibe of Bristol.
J. S.
Don't remember going here, so must have been good. 4 stars would recommend to people who like to do things inside and put fluids inside themselves
T. A.
Pork belly was amazing
Also really like the Clear Head alcoholic free Ale
D. C.
Met a friend here went to order food then told they don't have it. Considering the small choice. The finally was to be asked to leave as they have a party booked at the table. No suggestion of relocating tables. Bad after spending over £100 mid afternoon for 3 of us.
C. H.
Wonderful food and service. Best Sunday Roast I've had in years!
E. M.
Hi grade honest and hearty grub in a busy and colourful setting. Not pretentious in the slightest.
Love it here
M. i.
Nice place the band didn't show so score reflects that, it's a pub with beer,,, reviewed, staff were really nice, great service, I just don't drink or like many people that drink so I don't think I'm there target but still,,, drying than the park, warmer than a windy hill,,, oh there's a toliet!!
M. D. M.
Despite ongoing Covid challenged for both customers and staff, three of us enjoyed a SUPERB vegan, gluten-free lunch here today. The food arrived in generous portions and was TRULY outstanding. Ordering via the app was easy and the staff were great. Thank you The Gallimaufry for an unexpectedly pleasant dining experience on a busy Saturday morning.
A. B.
Friendly and comfortable. Food is excellent.
L.
Lovely pub, weird and wonderful decor. They do good food plates. Great acoustic night on Mondays really talented musicians
R. R.
It's in a lively area of Stokes Croft and that's reflected in the patio area, but inside its quite upmarket and cool. Food is good, and the music we came for was brilliant. #LydiaCole
D. M.
Bored of reading other people’s negative reviews of this place. It’s an absolute classic. A Bristol institution. Great staff, great beer, great food. What more do you want?!
J. P.
Absolutely love this place! One of my favourite places for a pint in Bristol. Always have a great selection of beers, friendly staff and great music
A. W.
Good Sunday roast, nice atmosphere and staff.
A. C.
Negatives: it's quite busy now and while it seems the staff are trying to maintain covid safety, it's so bustling with such a high customer/staff ratio, it would be hard to stop people acting irresponsibly. It's also quote expensive at about £5/pint.
Positives: it's a beautiful place that's really fun to go to, so I can understand why it's so busy. The live music is fantastic and the house band/open mic sets they did pre-covid were so much fun. It's a great place to go.
B. f. p.
Fab food, fab service and a great vibe highly recommended
T. B.
Great open mic night on a Monday. Lush beers on tap
A. B.
Great place to have a drink with friends. Ample space inside and out. Definitely helped that it was a beautiful day outside.
A. L.
Long wait for food, about 45 mins, staff did come to apologize when the food came. Food were really good, would highly recommend. So be prepared to wait for the good food if you come. Shame we had to suffer from second hand smoke as we were surrounded by people smoking (both cigerattes and electronic cigerattes) at the outside seating area. So avoid alert for non-smokers.
S. J.
I wasn't sure what to expect with menu prices on the higher side, but food was excellent. Really tasty goan fish curry and buttermilk chicken. Pleasant staff. The only reason I have given 3 stars instead of 5 is that my other half saw one member of staff not wash hands after visiting the loo and we then saw another member of staff put stuff out in the bins and continue to serve afterwards without washing his hands 😣😣
A.
Very nice all-round experience on last day of lockdown. Effective, efficient service, all precautions meticulously adhered to, food unusual and excellent.
Has transformed my experience of 'skin on chips', they were so very, very good that I entirely forgive the lost hyphen (and that takes some doing, believe me).
f. R.
It's ok. Fun decor inside. Groups of mothers having a prosecco or lone father's with pints during the day. Music and not overly hip crowd during the evening, if I remember correctly. Don't order the chips as a side as they aren't good and are about an ashtray sized amount.
R. C.
I feel I was a tad miss sold on the “wine bar” google title, they sold wine, and that’s where the “wine bar”-ness ends. The service was ok, the pandemic have pushed people to these apps and I’m afraid this was a particularly painful one. The food had potential, but the breads (be it flat bread or toast) we’re either as dry as ghandi’s flip flop or saturated in its pairing.
That said, the music may be great, but that wasn’t on the menu that evening
M. B.
Really nice lunch. A selection of delicious small plates. Very friendly staff too👌
L. D.
This place is the bomb. The food is a tad pricey but it's honestly some of the best food I've had in Bristol and a lot of it is locally sourced. The vibe is awesome, especially on a sunny afternoon. The music is amazing, lots of brilliant local artists, especially jazz bands such as Snazzback. The decor is also cool. Everything about this place is perfect! A jewel in Bristol's crown.
M. F.
Cracking decor, good beer, and brilliant music nights
l. R.
Disappointed with the menu. It was very limited and hard for the group to all find something to eat. Food was creative and looked good.
A. B.
Fantastic roast good beer thoroughly recommend.
E. S.
I love visiting here, always great beer on tap and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Always super clean and the staff are always incredibly friendly
S. P.
So much better than I remember. The table service has calmed the place down which made it more enjoyable.
The food was insanely good. Couldnt knock it down on anything.
L. Z.
Great bar with friendly staff and service. Great choice of food and drinks
G. B.
Great place for drinks. Prompt service with excellent staff... especially the security guy sorting out seating.
J. D.
Stunning staff. Amazing food.
A. M.
Great service and atmosphere, Sunday lunch was ok, veg was fresh and well prepared, roast potatoes a bit anemic, Yorkshire puddings over done and baked chicken underdone. Overall value was good, wine and beer enjoyable. Would go again, good place for a Sunday.
P. S.
Food was delicious as always and the staff were exceptionally kind and patient. They really had a positive impact on our day!
M. H.
All-around great place. Excellent beer, really good live music, a deeply friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Not the cheapest place to drink (we're talking five pound pints) but very much worth it.
j.
A nice cosy hipster style bar which often has music or open mic nights. Has an outside seating area which is popular all year round especially in the summer. A fair selection of drinks, but a tad pricey. Staff have been hit and miss during my visits. Some very friendly, some looking like they’d rather be anywhere but there. A cool environment which doesn’t seem to tolerate trouble or excessive drinking.
J. M.
Really good music venue. A terrific range of ales at reasonable prices. I've just returned from a Tuesday night here. The band were good and their guests - in particular Jaylow and Felix - were outstanding. Convenient location on Gloucester Road with parking spaces right there on the main road. There was food available but I didn't arrive until 9.30pm and just a handful of people were eating .There are tables outside, which, on a warm evening like tonight, offered a welcome relief from the heat inside despite the doors being open. A lovely atmosphere and a good place to meet friends, eat and/or eat.
T. H.
An excellent restaurant and bar. Understated from the outside, but excellent food. A really good place for larger parties, and great service. Very friendly staff and a reasonable price. Would recommend for a good evening meal. We were all very pleased with the food and drinks.
a. p.
Met our son here after seeing the recommendation in the Bristol post and we weren't disappointed! I can honestly say that it was one of the best roasts I've ever had! Full of flavour and very well cooked with loads of fresh vegetables and a gorgeous cauliflower cheese. I had the pork, my son the lamb and my wife had the vegetarian Wellington - they were all lush and for a reasonable price! The atmosphere was warm and cheerful, the staff efficient and very friendly, a superb lunch
I. L.
Our favourite place to go for drinks and live music in Bristol. And now food! They have created such a warming and creative environment that I could happily spend all my evenings (and dogs are welcome!).
A. P.
I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are yummy and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we have a cheerful evening. highly recommended.
K.
Laid back pub with seriously good sausage rolls. Good beers on tap and selection of wine. Clientele a bit hipsters for me, but who cares? I am there with my friends usually and always have a good time.
S. C.
I really liked it in here. The atmosphere, the quirky look and feel of the space, the local beers, friendly staff and vegan options for ales and food. Went at lunch time. Nice place to meet a friend. A little expensive... But has real personality.
R. Z.
Good beer selection and food is absolutely amazing!
S. B.
Great venue for a more progressive Bristol sound. Lots of experimental stuff in the week. Nearly always successful and if the music doesn't do it for you then the eclectic and creative menu should. Excellent food - with plenty of veggie and vegan options.
Sunday sessions have been a huge success over the last couple of years but be aware that this stops in the New Year. Will be interesting to see how Sunday evenings go after Ruth leaves.
E.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food with very clear allergen info, efficient service, lovely beer, nice atmosphere! Can’t fault it.
D. P.
Amazing decor, really chilled atmosphere and great staff! We visited at lunchtime and had a lovely meal, followed by coffee which was all delicious.
Can't fault the service and was made very welcome. The only (minor) fault was that I found the food to be a little oversalted for my taste, but was still delicious nonetheless. Will be back again.
M. P.
Good roast. Lovely staff. Aussie/Kiwi barman is particularly attentive and efficient. Maybe a little on the pricey side but I judge a good roast by the standard of the spuds and these were hot and crispy with a fluffy centre! Veg nicely cooked too.
S. W.
Unfriendly staff, well not unfriendly, brusque? Hipster friendly beers, great if you like hoppy (I don't). My friend Rose wine was expensive and i know it was a cheap nasty bottle. A nice environment. I didn't eat here but the food looked great.
A. D.
Very reasonable prices for exceptional food.
Impromptu visit, we were drawn in by the overt simplicity of the menu - a good, varied, and concise selection.
Brisket and pickle sandwich, falafel and pickled cabbage wrap (vegan) both were excellent and evidently fresh.
Special mention ought to be made of the tempura broccoli with sweet chilli and homemade salsa. Blissfully executed.
The service was friendly and relaxed, we were made to feel welcome even though the establishment is far more trendy than we are!
10/10 thoroughly recommended
NB Would love to revisit for one of their live music events which seem to be very regular.
t.
Excellent standard of food and friendly and efficient service. Booked for a family get together (not by me.) Table layout wasn't ideal and due to menu confusions, ended up pre ordering 3 times from three different menus/versions of. However, I ended up having some of the best prawns we've had as a starter, followed by a very large, beautifully cooked fish. My partner's pork belly was also succulent and flavoursome. Was particularly impressed with the quality and variety of vegetables - often an overcooked or reheated afterthought.
R. R.
Great location on Gloucester road, nice friendly staff, not the cheapest place in town and a bit limited menu. Food was not of a high standard, really disappointed with the 'Mushroom Pie', distinct lack of fungi... Overall just 3 🌟 probably won't go again if I wish to eat. On the plus side, friendly helpful staff and good music.
N. B.
This is the best bar in Bristol. Always nice people, the food is just delicious focusing on seasonal and local produce with provenance.
Pretty epic line up of local and national musical talent with a new fancy outside seating area to watch the world go by (in any weather).
I cannot recommend the Gali enough.
Q. B.
Vibrations were definitely felt, this is a source of great music and great people a like. The bar staff were really friendly and didn't look like they wanted to kill themselves which can be really off putting when trying to order... I've given it 4 star because I do usually like more "on the tap" options, but that's me being very picky as the options are adequate enough.
A.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere.
O. G.
Just been for a delicious Sunday lunch :) great selection of drinks of all type, excellent food (we had the pork belly and chicken roasts) and desserts (the flapjack ice cream was a particular favourite)! One of our party remarked about the roasted peach and flapjack ice cream “If I end up on death row, this is what I’d choose for my last meal” :D
T. M.
Nice smoking area, but it's on the main road. And a nice selection of beers on tap
J. M.
Fabulous food for everyone: table of four comprising of one vegetarian, one vegan, one pescetarian, & one omnivore. All options were absolutely delicious. Desserts were fabulous too! We recommend The Gallimaufry wholeheartedly & we will be back for more. Must not forget: the service was excellent too! Book a table asap!
D. d.
Super tasty food (the best sticky toffee pudding I've ever tasted) and a great drink selection. Nice outside space for the summer and cosy in the winter. One of my favourite places in Bristol.
A. L.
The Galli is my favourite place in Bristol for any occasion.
Whilst it’s great for a night with friends in the terrace, I would advice not to pass up an opportunity to try the food ... it’s insane !
This is also a great place to catch some amazing local artists with live music playing almost (or every) night.
The staff are friendly and chatty too - always a plus!
A.
Great little pub, always a good atmosphere. Could do with a slightly better pump selection. But that's a personal thing. Well worth a visit.
f. f.
Nice place to enjoy a drink (and eventually chips with cheese) and chill with friends. I've been there several times already. The place is usually busy, with musicians coming to perform and make your evening one you will remember.
S. N.
I would actually give more stars if I could. Came for lunch today(22/7/2018),with my partner. I had the pork roast(which 4hrs later I'm still waxing lyrical about), and my partner the walnut, sweet potato filo parcel. Both were stunning, full of flavour, and the veg on it's own would be a meal for me. The roast potatos were amazing, the pork amazing, the veg stunning, washed down with a recommended cider by the staff. A HUGE must for people to go and eat there.
L. L.
One of the best pubs in the area. Always a great beer selection, food is outstanding, staff are friendly, the decor inside is quite unique, and they have great music every night. What more could you want?
J. C.
Friendly, welcoming and a great selection of beers. Well presented and visually stimulating - full of individual character. Always good to see somewhere welcoming the four legged friends too.
J. Y.
Covid measures in place and staff seemed fully confident and competent.
The food was absolutely amazing, we will definitely return. 5 big fat stars.
L.
The gallimaufry is a great music venue. The bar has good drinks and friendly staff. The place has quirky architecture and a really nice ambience. Always really talented musicians playing
P. C.
Looks are deceiving with this place, from the outside it looks like a place I wouldn't usually enter but I would return to this place if the Sunday roast is anything to go by.
I would give 5 stars for the food but I was confused when the waitress said we couldn't order a dessert (even for the kids) when we still had another 45 minutes left on our table?!
I. J.
Food was amazing, would recommend the gnocchi starter and aranchini main. Service was friendly and efficient, sat under heat lamps outside, would definitely recommend!
T. S.
Polite staff, good atmosphere, good choice of drinks. The pork belly on Sundays is nice (and well presented), with a great taste that hits you in between the crackling and the melt-in-the-mouth pork itself, but I have had better elsewhere in Bristol, I must admit. The vegetables you get with it could have been a bit more interesting as well.
S. H.
The food was excellent, really good! We had a Sunday roast and 3 out of 4 of us were vegetarian, they served used nicely and were very attentive. The potatoes were very tasted, albeit a little hard which may not be to everyone's taste, but I enjoyed it. I had a Wellington (has some kind of cheese and lentils in itni believe) and it was a nice alternative to the usual vegetarian option of a mushroom Wellington. Overall a very nice experience. My usual gripe with places like this is that it could be more "cosy", but it's very fashionable these days to have a noisy atmosphere, not my cup of tea. But despite that, it was a very enjoyable experience.
D. B.
The best pub restaurant in Bristol, full stop. Great beers, great for, ace live music. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Very dog friendly as well
E. S.
Love this venue. . Great outdoor seating. Good ales and nice decor. Great bands especially the in house band on thursdays - Snazzback are very talented! Free music which is a bonus
J. T.
I love the Gali really good food and nice staff , go on go have a drink and listen to some new music
B. H.
Good social distancing system in place without compromising atmosphere. Food great as always. Staff friendly and attentive even with ordering apps in place.
J. M.
Lively neighborhood bar with lots of seating, and different rooms/areas. Theres a stage with performers/gigs and a regular open mic night. Craft beer, food, Sunday roasts all served.
T. B.
Always good craic here. The lines are clean, the beer is good and the whisky is varied. Live music several nights a week from Bristol's finest up and coming jazzers. Lovely.
K. P.
Excellent food, great late-night atmosphere. Regular bands playing on the weekend
P. B. '.
Great pub, has sofas and good beer! Listened to Darma Blue, most of a piss take than a band, free styled it all although had a comdeic value lol
S. W.
Good bar, good food and great drinks selection (both soft and alcoholic). Often have music or a DJ in the evenings. Lots of seating both inside and out. Clean toilets too, always a good sign in my books.
V. D.
All nice drinks available for a fair price. Tables on the front porch are lovely, specially in the summer. The menu is pricey and portions are small, tapas style.
A. T.
Great food, great booze, great staff.
Excellent coffee, ever changing seasonal menu, superb original small plates...this is my go to place to lunch... consistently good!
M. A.
Good alternative bar with nice range of beers, lagers & cider & friendly service. Lively studenty atmosphere with live bands too.Cosy terrace with heating for the smokers.Great location in the strip. A bite pricey.

Amazing venue, Bristol venue. Monday open mic nights are the bee's knees. Lovely, cosy, welcoming venue. Greatly recommended
S. S.
Really good food and service. Definitely recommend!
S. W.
Delish food and great ambiance. Love the interior design too!
S. M.
I like the seats upstairs overlooking the bar. Was expensive and nothing special
T. L.
Probably one of Gloucester Road's better venues. Don't expect jazz on Jazz night: it'll be some avant garde prog synth mess advertised as jazz to get the crowds in. Not a purist musician's hangout. Then again, nor is Bristol generally... Good beer, cocktails average, seating absolutely acceptable.
R. B.
Always a nice place to listen to some good live music. Decent drinks selection and quality. Can be difficult to find space to sit. If very busy entrance can be denied.
E. H.
Nice atmosphere outside for drinks and very tasty vegan roast!
A. m.
Great music, especially on Wednesday night's. Great cocktails and great food. Not first choice for someone on a budget, but perfect for a special occasion.
E. G.
It's so nice to know that with lockdown easing, the Galli is still doing amazing food and has friendly staff. Never change, Galli!
J. G.
Love it. The best place for a drink & live music on Gloucester Road. The Bristol Sessions on Sundays is a real treat! Always warm, always friendly and always awesome. Thanks guys

Amazing place! Delicious food, friendly service, really great live music and a fine selection of tasty beers and ales. Couldn't recommend enough and will go back!!
P. M.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere and they arranged for a warm sunny day... in early March. Cheers guys.
Great food too!
F. I.
Great food, great drink, and always amazing music!
J. H.
Great music on Sunday evenings, But by gum it's a bit pricey. £5 for a 3.8% ale is a tad much when you can get much better ones up the road for £2.50.
L. D.
Favourite bar in Bristol without a doubt, great atmosphere, food and good selection of beers. Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.
E. P.
Great location. Reasonably priced drinks and good vegan options. Always great music too!
L. D.
Went there for a roast, had the goats cheese wellington. The wellington was lovely but the roast potatoes were very stale and dry. Some members of staff were also quite grumpy.
L. M.
My favourite pub in Gloucester road! I've been here few times and it never disappoints expectations. Food always great and very kind staff!
G. D.
Very good food with a nice variety of choices and caters very well for vegetarians. Lovely atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. Good outdoor seating too.
A. H.
Quirky bar with lots of seating inside and out. cocktails, live music and weird art. My friends go there too much for my liking, but that's not the bars fault.
J. H.
Food was delicious and the set menu was good value. Very odd live music tonight, and a bit drum-heavy when you're trying to have a conversation over dinner.
J. P. M.
Not only wonderful hospitality and a beautiful Gastro-Cosmopolitan menu, The gallimaufry is a lush place for a chilled beer of an evening and it's getting to be my favourite Bristol music venue, and that's saying something!
L.
One of the best, a must visit. Great drink selection, excellent food, lovely staff!
R. B.
Awesome dog friendly place with delicious vege food ☺ ♥
J. D.
Good selection of beers and friendly atmosphere. The food menu at lunchtime is limited, but can’t speak for the dinner menu.
D. R. W.
Always has live music and normally busy with a good vibe. Haven't eaten here but does a good range of beer and cider.
A. M.
Great staff. Delicious food. Good beer selection. Covid safety great.
T. P.
Always guaranteed a great night. Good food, well priced booze and frequently has live music. Great outdoor seating as well.
T. M.
My favourite pub in Bristol. Great beers all the time and the food is just amazing. The staff is too.

Known by many as the 'Galli' (it's a lot easier to text/pronounce after a few G&T's) the Gallimaufry sits right in the heart of Gloucester rd student country. It's nice for a venue to have made such an effort to build its own character, with the Galli filled with odd, weird and wonderful furniture, art and doll like 'things'....
A good range of local beers, bottles, ciders, spirits at average to premium range prices. They get a bonus start for accepting Bristol £'s. They also get a bonus star for refusing to serve me Hendricks because they didn't have any cucumber. Which on reflection, is good barmanship (that's a word)...
N. P.
The dichotomy of the bourgeoisie Gallmaufryi and neighbouring Blue (collar) Lagoon next door hangs over whatever overpriced deliciously hoppy IPA I order at the Galli. I advocate class war with this stretch of Gloucester road as ground zero. Viva la revolucion.
L. D.
Great live music most days of the week. Good selection of drinks. Cosy atmosphere inside and loads of outside space.
S. S.
Cosy pub on two levels, interesting range of beers, ciders and wine. Good outside seating area and the food is delicious and the service excellent.
A. E.
The best pub in Bristol! Great beer, service and atmosphere.
D. G.
Love the Groove Den, always like going along to see James Morton perform. Good range of drinks and beers and always a friendly environment.
D.
It's nice but they only have 1 cider on tap and I'm not willing to go elsewhere, to raudy bars.
J. N.
Great roast. amazing staff. definitely worth it
M. T.
This place is a real gem - great crowd, variety of live music and a solid roast on a Sunday. Stay true to yourself Gallimaufry (unlike your Blue Lagoon neighbour).
d. k.
Great pub. Great food... But tiny and quite expensive portions.
Think classic pub / fine dining tapas fusion... Sounds bit weird but works really well
P. R.
Always has a good atmosphere. Live jazz/ funk night on thirsty Thursday. Nice food and good beer.
V. C.
Good pub but definitely too loud! Great to go with friends but not if you want to have a chat with someone
D. T.
Really lovely food, a step above the norm. Decor cozy if a little try-hard for the Bristol alternative thing, but overall very nice.
D. S.
After a 3 mile walk from the Filton Abbey Wood Station, it made for a nice drink break. Bills itself as a quirky wine bar, yep.
