What a gem :D Not very big, and I wasn't expecting a full dinner menu, but we ended up getting food and having a few drinks and it was absolutely lovely. The vegan dirty fries were really nicely cooked and crispy. The pricing is decent and the staff were really lovely! I've never thought about going before, but now I'm definitely going to return

I had roast pork and it was lush. Smashing crackling, served with kale and red cabbage and a crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside large Yorkshire pudding. Gravy served on the plate and I have to say is the nicest gravy I have ever tasted. New potatoes were tasty and fresh. We ordered cauliflower cheese which was probably the best I have had and stuffing balls on the side. All the food was served hot and the service was very friendly and polite. Will certainly be returning next time I'm in Bristol. Order in advance to avoid disappointment.

This lovely pub is just off the main Redland Road and due to the nature of the area parking can be a bit of an issue. A traditional corner pub with a lovely Victorian style exterior and toilets with stain glassed panels on door Found the pub to be very clean & tidy and the staff extremely friendly. A excellent pint of 9pm from the Bristol Beer Factory Brewery was on draught. There is a quite an extensive menu and very reasonably priced. The Ribs and Roasted Cauliflower Salad were excellent and service was quick. Will definitely return when in the area.

Another amazing Sunday roast with brilliant service from the staff! Extra gravy, perfectly cooked beef, fantastic cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire's as well the perfect amount of veg. Well done chefs and front of house team 👌🏻

This is a really hard pub to dislike. On the beer front a good selection of ales, lagers, ciders, wines and some not to shabby spirits. Service is provided promptly and with good humour. Did not try the food but the locals praised it so probably a good bet.

Thursday Steak night . . the table looked clean but was a tad sticky, however, I can honestly say that this was the best medium rare rump steak that I've ever had in a pub. I intend on the back of this visit to try Sunday carvery (if you book early enough) Tables full constantly tells the story !!!!

My local pub that I never visit enough! Food is delicious every day of the week, and as you can see their Sunday roast is no exception! Kind and friendly staff, and different sections of the pub cater to different tastes, whether it's to watch the game or curl up in an armchair with a good book. Also has a nice outdoor seating area. And if you're lucky, there will be a couple dogs in there too! Highly recommend a visit.

One of the best tarts I’ve had at a pub. I really appreciate when there is something on a pub menu that hasn’t been in a fryer and is delicious. The staff were lovely, service was great and our dog was a happy little girl hanging out.

Great roast menu. Big portions, vegetarian options, not too expensive. We have gone several times and we've never had a bad experience. Today it was packed with big groups, there were many tables double booked and our food and service was still great. Very good child menu as well.

Recently visited and glad to see they're taking COVID so seriously, without ruining the atmosphere of the pub. All food and drinks are ordered from tables and staff are very conscious of social distancing. Felt very comfortable throughout and really enjoyed our time there.

The best Sunday lunch I've had for a very long time - vast improvement on the usual mass-catered fodder which is dished up these days. Absolutely lovely, tasty food. My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch and had a pretty average experience. We ordered the bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a side of chips and the portion sizes were absolutely tiny! The food was really over priced for what it was as well (this came to over £10!) and the staff weren’t that helpful. The decor seemed really nice and cosy, and there was a nice space to sit outside, but I would only come back if I was grabbing a drink!

Had a fantastic Sunday roast last Sunday. Really generous portions of delicious food and excellent service. We had beef, pork and but roast; which my veggie daughter said it was the best she had ever eaten (flaming cheek as I also cook her nut roast at home!). Highly recommended!

I was staying at an airbnb nearby, so just used TripAdvisor nearby function to find this. What a pleasant surprise, a lovely local, full of locals, and on Tuesday I dropped in, it was the Burger Night. A cheese burger or a bean burger with a beer for £10. Talk about great value! They kindly replaced the beer with a cider for me. I was intrigued by the beetroot and goats cheese arancini, and they were fab. Served on the sort of beetroot horseradish type sauce, they were soft and mushy and do well seasoned. The cheese burger very tasty, rosemary chips similarly fab, great special. Best of all, great service from female staff member (blonde hair) warm, welcoming and great fun.

(Translated) I ate my first Sunday roast. On the menu, I ordered two kinds of beef and pork, both were delicious, but personally I liked the pork better. The pork was tender and the skin was crispy. The roast order includes Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables. The staff were also friendly. (Original) 첫 선데이로스트를 먹어봤습니다. 메뉴는 비프와 포크 2가지를 주문했는데 둘다 맛있었지만 개인적으로는 포크가 더 좋았습니다. 포크는 살은 부드럽고 껍질 부분은 바삭했습니다. 로스트를 주문하면 요크셔푸딩, 로스트 포테이토, 채소가 포함되어 있습니다. 직원들도 친절했습니다.
