It's nice that this place has kept it's traditional decor, there aren't many places like that left in the city centre. Atmosphere was little flat but I suspect that might be due to covid measures rather than the pub itself. Would definitely visit again!

Stopped in for a pint with the family. Great overhaul, place looks fantastic. Staff were very friendly and made a special cocktail for my daughter which delighted her. I personally love the old pubs and this one is still a gem amongst all of the newer trendy places that have sprung up everywhere.

We had excellent fish & chips, pub is very clean and very cosy. Atmosphere is excellent. Being from out of UK, we wanted to experience that very specific pub atmosphere and we just couldn't have chosen better.

First time visit for me and my wife. Saw menu board outside that they cater for gluten free meals. I'm a coeliac and always careful when I eat in restaurants etc. once I was assured by the two very pleasnt bar staff there were no issues …

Trying to go up market,the Beer prices have risen too steeply, it was better off as a Brains pub,but that's my opinion, won't be going here too often,Cheers,K
