Lots to do, friendly and helpful staff as well as being clean inside. Table service drinks is always a great addition to a place like this. Prices are reasonably priced too! We played the 9 hole mini golf, usual places are rather boring compared to here, with more than just using the putter. If we had more time we would have done more!

Nice bar with cheap drinks and amazing chicken wings. App is fairly decent and drinks arrive quickly The wings by Wingman were incredible, amazing value for money considering the quality. We really loved the tots with cheese and gravy too. Only negative is that the venue smelt really strongly of sick, it was so bad we had to move outside to sit, thankfully there were plenty of outdoor tables undercover with heating. Can't wait to go back for more wings

We booked Boom to watch the FA Cup Final and the staff were so hospitable in making sure we could see the game. They seated us right in front of the big screen TV and even brought out a table for us to replace a smaller table and bar stools so we had more room. The drink choices were great and the food from Wingman was delicious. Can't wait to come back when indoors are open.

Great experiences booked for team building, we all loved the axe throwing and the shuffleboard is great fun. Great fun for smaller groups too, good variety of games and we were all surprised at how much we enjoyed electric darts! It was an Ed Sheeran gig day so town and all bars were packed, so there was a long wait for drinks as with everywhere. Some of our group had to go chasing staff to get darts for the lanes we'd booked, but overall we had a really great time. Wifi/4G signal is rubbish down there though as it's in the cellars so the ordering food via QR code was a bit pointless and so we didn't bother ordering food.

This is a great place for a party to start, plenty of games to play and friendly staff. The app was a bit of a mess, turn your phone to landscape to complete the forms when you're signing in. This helped us with samsung phones. Kids loved it but were too young for the axe throwing. 18+ We will be back

Nice place, was very difficult to get drinks but once we established there were two bars it wasn’t much of an issue. Great place to listen to tunes and watch the football on a Saturday.

Went in today for brunch with my family for Father’s Day and had a lovely time, golf was good fun the staff were great especially jasmine our bartender lovely drinks and so hospitable the food was amazing even took loads home! Will be coming back !!!

Since moving to Cardiff boom has been our go to spot! We specifically began coming back here thanks to how safe and comfortable the bouncers/door staff make us feel. Our first encounter with the boom bouncers was when one of our friends left the bar earlier than the rest of us and the doorman outside (Baz, Steve, Vince & Ben) ensured she was safe and even got one of them to walk her to a taxi with me to make sure I wasn’t walking back alone! Since then boom has been our go to spot especially for girls nights out where we are always greeted with a welcoming smile and joke or two by all the door staff :) (Danny and Zach inside) we know that we can go enjoy ourselves, dance all night (providing the DJ plays music that actually is danceable to) and leave feeling looked after! The management, staff and bouncers here truly do their best in keeping the customers at boom safe and ensuring they enjoy their time! More bars around Cardiff would benefit from bouncers like booms!

Had a good night out which unfortunately was spoilt due to an issue I had. I purchased a round of drinks and the bar man presented the machine for me to scan bank card. He held it in a way so I couldn’t see it. He then said your card won’t scan il try again. He took my card from me scanned it then handed it back. I didn’t really think anything of it at the time but noticed a few days later my card had been charged twice at the exact same time. My transaction must have gone through and was entered again meaning I paid for two of the same rounds. I cannot see why he would take my card when really they shouldn’t touch it if it is my purchase. I have rang the site many times to try to ask them to check what happened, only once I had an answer and was told a manager will call me when they get to work that night, they never did, since then I only ever get answer message.

Went on a rainy, cold Sunday evening with my Dad for the first time. The staff were really friendly, and the bar had loads of screens to watch the football. Although we were told that one of the mini golf holes was broken, it was very disappointing to find a further 2 were broken as well. Not happy to have paid full price to only be able to play 6 out of the 9 holes

We have been to boom bar a few times over the last few weeks. Dan on the front desk has been so amazing to us, he kept hold of our longboard and kicked out some men who were being inappropriate towards us. He makes coming to boom bar such a good experience for two girls and we appreciate him being there. Well come back just to see him :)

Decent priced alcohol and the bouncers are accommodating and friendly. They work hard and ensure that everyone is seated in a timely fashion, probably the best bar to be at in Cardiff. Haven't met kinder staff in my years here

Amazing place- great cocktails, food and the staff are great. We didn't get around to trying any of the games, but we will definitely be back in the future to do so. The atmosphere was great and if we didn't have to go and catch a train we would have stayed there all night.
